It is time for the 3rd annual AEW Fight for the Fallen in All Elite Wrestling, this time for 2021. As has been the case since the return of live crowds, AEW has stacked the card yet again for Wednesday night. We have an IWGP United States Heavyweight Title match, another Labour of Jericho match and a very important ten-man elimination tag team match. Let us find out more about this exciting night in Charlotte in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE.

Christian Cage & Jurassic Express vs Private Party & Angelico
In recent episodes of AEW Dynamite, the Hardy Family Office has set its sights on Jurassic Express and Christian Cage. It doesn’t matter how many times Cage and Jurassic Express defeat the Hardy Family in the ring; they just come back for more revenge. Can they change this narrative at Fight for the Fallen?
Cage and Jurassic Express have challenged Private Party and Angelico to a six-man tag team match. Can they rid themselves of the Hardy Family Office once and for all? Or will the Hardy Family Office pull off a huge upset and continue this long-lasting feud? It should be a fun match to watch on Wednesday night.
AEW Fight for the Fallen 2021
Lance Archer (c) vs Hikuleo
(IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship)
At Fyter Fest, Lance Archer won the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship in a brutal Texas Death Match over Jon Moxley. This ended the impressive 564-day reign for Moxley. Will Archer get some time to celebrate his historic victory? The answer is a resounding no. It is no rest for the wicked as Archer has to defend this week against a very dangerous opponent.
Hikuleo, son of the famous Haku, has been limited in his in-ring competition since the Pandemic began. This will be one of the biggest matches of his young career. Can he defeat a wounded Archer? If he does, it will be one of the biggest upsets in AEW history. But taking the 6’8 Hikuleo lightly would be a dangerous mistake indeed.
AEW Fight for the Fallen 2021
Santana & Ortiz (w/Konnan) vs FTR (w/Tully Blanchard)
After many months of talk, it is finally time for the highly anticipated tag team match between Santana & Ortiz and FTR to occur. The two teams have made it very personal in recent weeks. It will be great to see them settle their differences in the ring at Fight for the Fallen.
The wild card, of course, will be Konnan and Tully Blanchard. The two certainly don’t have a clear love loss for each other either. Will they play a factor in this huge tag team match? It seems this Wednesday’s tag team match is just the beginning of a truly epic feud.
Chris Jericho vs Nick Gage (Labours of Jericho #2)
This week will be the huge second part of the “Labours of Jericho”. It was certainly a huge surprise to see who Jericho’s opponent will be for the second match. MJF introduced Deathmatch legend Nick Gage, to a shocked crowd at last week’s Fyter Fest. At Fight for the Fallen, Chris Jericho will fight Nick Gage in a No Rules match.
Nick Gage has been known for a lot of brutal Deathmatches on the independent circuit. What could he possibly unleash on Jericho on Wednesday night? We know Jericho will be bringing back his “Painmaker” gimmick for this No Rules Match. We don’t know exactly what to expect on Wednesday night, but we know it will be wild, memorable and very bloody.
Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson vs Hangman Page, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson, John Silver and Alex Reynolds
(Elimination Tag Team Match)
It is finally time. After months of disappointment and self-doubt, Hangman Page finally gets his chance. If his team wins this huge Ten Man Elimination Tag Team match, Page will get a chance at Omega’s AEW World Title and the Dark Order will get a shot at the Tag Team titles. If the Elite wins, there will be no future title shots for Page or the Dark Order. The stakes couldn’t be higher.
The elimination match leads to a lot of exciting possibilities. Which tag team will get the advantage first? Will the Elite find new ways to cheat on Wednesday night? Can Page overcome his doubts to get his biggest victory to date? We know the crowd will be behind Page on Wednesday night. It will be a fun way to end a huge Fight for the Fallen card.
