The Forbidden Door PPV is only a few days away as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 8/20/25/! Forbidden Door is quickly becoming one of the most stacked shows of 2025.

But we have one more stop before Sunday Night’s massive show. AEW Dynamite will be live in Glasgow! We will hear from the World Champion, see the legendary Hiroshi Tanahashi in action, and watch the finals of the World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament.

Let us learn more about the huge night in Glasgow in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

Will Ospreay & Jon Moxley Face-To-Face

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay made his return to save Darby Allin. It was certainly surprising since just one month ago,

Ospreay said he was going to take some time off to heal his multiple injuries. But it seems missing the pay-per-view in London was simply not an option for “The Aerial Assassin”.

On this week’s Dynamite, Ospreay will be face-to-face with Jon Moxley. They will be part of the ten-man Lights Out Steel Cage Match on Sunday night. Last week got pretty physical, what will happen this week in Glasgow?

We’ll Hear From AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page tricked MJF into using his title shot at Forbidden Door. MJF had wanted to just trick Page into giving him a shot and saving his guaranteed title shot for another day. But shockingly, MJF lost his cool and gets his one shot in London.

On Wednesday night, Hangman Page will speak one last time before Sunday night. He was brutally attacked by MJF at the end of last week’s show. Is Page ready to go for the Forbidden Door show? We know MJF will be waiting and watching.

    FTR vs. Brodido
(World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament Final)

The World Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament ends in Glasgow! The match-up is certainly a unique one. The established tag team FTR versus the surprising pairing of Brody King and Bandido. Who will face the Hurt Syndicate on Sunday night?

Brodido has only been a tag team for a few short weeks. But they pulled off huge upsets over the established tag teams of Gates of Agony and the Young Bucks.

Can they do it one more time against the two-time AEW World Tag Team Champions? It would be an incredible moment for sure.

Athena & Mercedes Moné vs. “Timeless” Toni Storm & Alex Windsor

“Timeless” Toni Storm and Alex Windsor have made quite the unusual pairing in the last few weeks. They both are getting ready for huge title matches on Sunday night. Can they team together one more time on AEW Dynamite?

They will be facing their future opponents Athena and Mercedes Moné in Glasgow. Athena and Moné haven’t teamed together yet. Will they be on the same page on Wednesday night? We know Storm and Windsor will be ready.

Death Riders vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi & JetSpeed

The last two weeks Jon Moxley has defeated both members of JetSpeed. As he is getting ready for the Lights Out Steel Cage Match.

He will be facing both members of JetSpeed yet again as part of a Trios Match. It will be the Death Riders versus Speedball Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and the legendary Hiroshi Tanahashi.

Tanahashi is in the final year of his historic career. Having him as part of the Forbidden Door is a wonderful gift to AEW fans. I am sure Glasgow fans will love to see him in this huge Trios Match on Wednesday night.

    What To Expect:

    • Will he hear from the reunited Adam Copeland and Christian Cage?
    • How will the Young Bucks be humiliated this week?
    • Will any last matches be added to Forbidden Door?
