On the heels of the successful Fyter Fest, what can AEW do for Fight for the Fallen as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 7/27/22? It is the annual charity show that All Elite Wrestling is putting on for the fourth consecutive year. So what do they have in store for us in this yearly event?

We will see Bryan Danielson’s return to in-ring competition for the first time since May. We will see another match in the FTW open challenge. We will even have a highly anticipated AEW Women’s title match. Let us find out more about the show in Worcester in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 7/27/22.

Tony Nese & Mark Sterling vs. Swerve Strickland

Mark Sterling certainly has set his sights on Swerve Strickland in recent weeks. He has tried to get many wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling to sign a petition to get Strickland removed from the roster. It got worse as Sterling interrupted the Championship Celebration of Strickland and Lee. He got a cake to the face courtesy of the champions.

At Fight for the Fallen, Tony Nese and Mark Sterling will get Swerve in a handicap match. Can Nese and Sterling use the advantage to get some revenge on Swerve? Or will AEW’s lawyer get embarrassed again?

    Ricky Starks (c)
    vs. Danhausen
    (FTW Title)

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Starks held his first FTW Open Challenge. He defeated Cole Karter in a six-minute match. However, Starks said he still had more in the tank after the match. Enter Danhausen.

Danhausen wanted a title match against Starks at Fyter Fest. Instead, he gets it at Fight for the Fallen. And let’s face it. It would be amazing to see Danhausen, a hater of swearing, winning the FTW title. Hopefully, it happens on Wednesday night.

    Bryan Danielson vs. Daniel Garcia

Daniel Garcia lost a physical, technical match to Wheeler Yuta at Death Before Dishonor. So what is his reward for a heartbreaking loss? He has to wrestle against a returning Bryan Danielson on Wednesday night.

Danielson has not wrestled since AEW Double or Nothing in May. He likely has unfinished business with the Jericho Appreciation Society. Can Garcia survive an onslaught of kicks against Danielson? It will be great to see Bryan Danielson in action again in All Elite Wrestling.

    Jon Moxley (c) vs. Rush
    (Interim AEW World Championship)

Jon Moxley has definitely been a fighting champion since winning the Interim AEW World Championship at Forbidden Door. In fact, he hasn’t lost a singles match in over a year. Can anyone stop the champion?

Rush will take his chance on Wednesday night. The talented Mexican wrestler has impressed since joining AEW at Double or Nothing. He has also won titles all over the world. Can he be the one to overthrow the champ? It could certainly be the show stealer at Fight for the Fallen.

Thunder Rosa (c) vs. Miyu Yamashita
    (AEW Women’s World Championship)

At TJPW Summer Sun Princess, Miyu Yamashita fought Thunder Rosa. If she won the non-title match, she would get a future AEW Women’s World Championship match. That match will occur at Fight for the Fallen.

Yamashita is an extremely talented nine-year veteran. She has held the Princess of Princess Championship for over 1,000 days on three separate occasions. The first match between Rosa and Yamashita was a strong match. Can they continue their great chemistry on the big stage at Fight for the Fallen? It could be the showcase the AEW Women’s Division certainly needs.

    What To Expect:

    • Will Eddie Kingston have anything to say after another heartbreaking loss?
    • What is next for the TBS Champion Jade Cargill?
    • Will we start to learn anything about All Out?
