As we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 6/1/22, we reflect on this past Sunday night in Las Vegas, AEW hosted the huge Double or Nothing pay-per-view. The hot Vegas crowd (which I was a part of) witnessed many memorable moments and great matches that will forever change the face of the company. So what will be the fallout of that epic night?

AEW Dynamite moves on to its first-ever West Coast show at the famous Forum. Will new challengers emerge to the champions? What will CM Punk have to say after winning the AEW World Championship? And remember, we are less than a month away from the Forbidden Door! So what will AEW have in store for us with one of their largest crowds ever? Let us find out more about the huge show in Los Angeles in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    We Hear From MJF

MJF was in the news a lot this Double or Nothing weekend. It even led to many wondering if he would show up to his match against Wardlow at all. He did and was rewarded with ten powerbombs by his former friend Wardlow. As MJF was stretched out of the T-Mobile Arena, it seemed like it might be a long time before we saw him again. But we will hear from him again on this week’s AEW Dynamite.

What will MJF have to say? The pro wrestling world will be eagerly waiting to see what is next for one of the best young talents in all of AEW. And with MJF, you know it will certainly be can’t miss.

CM Punk & FTR vs. Max Caster & The Gunn Club

After AEW Double or Nothing ended, FTR came out and celebrated with CM Punk. It was a special moment seeing some of the best talents in the company enjoying Punk’s World Title victory. On Wednesday night, they work together in a big six-man tag team match.

Their opponents are Max Caster and The Gunn Club. That new alliance has had some success in recent weeks. Will CM Punk and FTR still be basking in the glow of Sunday night? If they are, they will be ripe for an upset.

Britt Baker & Jaime Hayter vs.
    Toni Storm & Ruby Soho

On Sunday night, Ruby Soho felt heartbreak yet again. After a competitive match against Britt Baker, she lost in stunning fashion in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final. Ruby Soho was deprived of a major victory in AEW.

In Los Angeles, Soho and Toni Storm have a chance for revenge against Baker and Hayter. Can they get it done? Based on past experiences, we know Baker and Hayter are not above cheating to get the victory. This could be an important victory for Storm and Soho in the very crowded AEW Women’s Division. This could run the risk of being lost in the shuffle if they lose.

    Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia

At AEW Double or Nothing, the Anarchy in the Arena match was twenty minutes of pure chaos. It had a lot of weapons, blood and an attempt to set Chris Jericho on fire. The Jericho Appreciation Society won the match but it is hard to say anyone really won after the brutality of Sunday night.

The battle continues on Wednesday night. Jon Moxley of Blackpool Combat Club and Daniel Garcia of JAS fight in Los Angeles. Will either competitor be in fighting shape for AEW Dynamite? This feud is far from over.

Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, Christian Cage, Darby Allin & Matt Hardy vs. Young Bucks, ReDragon and Hikuleo

It is the Super Elite versus some of their Double or Nothing opponents in a huge ten-man tag team match in Los Angeles. The Hardys defeated the Young Bucks in a fun tag team match on Wednesday night. With Jeff Hardy injured, can the Young Bucks get some revenge.

We also have the AEW Tag Team Champions Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus involved in this huge main event. Can the Super Elite pull over the victory and get back into the crowded AEW Tag Team Division? With the Bullet Club’s Hikuleo helping the Super Elite, it could be a fun way to end another huge Dynamite.

    What To Expect:

    • Wardlow faces JD Drake
    • What is next after the chaotic Anarchy in the Arena match?
    • What will CM Punk have to say after winning the AEW Champion?
    • Will any New Japan wrestlers appear on Wednesday night?
