It is Friday Night Dynamite! We are only days away from the huge AEW pay-per-view Double Or Nothing 2021. With a stacked nine-match card, what will the wrestlers do to gain an advantage before Sunday night? Let us find out more about this special Friday night in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 5/28/21.

    Jade Cargill Open Challenge

Jade Cargill has been the focus of many managers in recent weeks. Vickie Guerrero, Matt Hardy, and Mark Sterling have all been trying to sign the talented wrestler. Cargill seems to be unimpressed so far.

On Friday night, Cargill is presenting an Open Challenge. She hasn’t had a lot to do in-ring since ending her feud with Red Velvet. Will a new challenger emerge for Jade Cargill on AEW Dynamite?

Hikaru Shida AEW Women’s Champion One Year celebration

Hikaru Shida won the AEW Women’s Championship at Double or Nothing on May 23, 2020.  She has defended the title against many worthy challengers during this Pandemic year. On AEW Dynamite, she will celebrate her impressive reign.

It seems pretty obvious that Britt Baker will make her presence known on Friday. Can Shida gain the upper hand before their title match at Double or Nothing? Hopefully, it will add a lot more heat to this title feud.

Orange Cassidy Responds to Kenny Omega

Orange Cassidy suffered a scary-looking injury during his number one’s contender match against PAC on a recent Dynamite. Because of Kenny Omega’s interference, the match was thrown out, with both Orange Cassidy and PAC becoming the contenders for the AEW World Championship. But will Orange Cassidy be ready for Double or Nothing?

Kenny Omega offered Orange Cassidy an interesting proposal. He would sit out the World Title match at AEW Double or Nothing but would get a future World Title match when he was healthy. What will Cassidy have to say about this offer on Friday night?

Anthony Ogogo and Cody Rhodes Double or Nothing Weigh-in

In a feud that has truly resembled a boxing match, it makes sense the final Dynamite before the Ogogo-Rhodes match will have a weigh-in. We should expect pure chaos at this weigh-in on Friday night. It is the British Boxing Champion versus the American Dream. Will Ogogo attempt to take Rhodes out with his dangerous right hand? Cody should be ready to deal with a lot of The Factory’s antics on AEW Dynamite.

Evil Uno & Stu Grayson vs. Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky

Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky have had their sights set on Sting and Darby Allin in recent weeks. Their attacks likely cost Darby Allin the TNT Championship two weeks ago. As they made an attempt to attack Sting and Darby on last week’s show, they were saved by the Dark Order. It is now time for some revenge.

Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky will get a tag team match against Evil Uno and Stu Grayson on Friday night. Will Page/Sky get some momentum before the huge tag match at AEW Double or Nothing? Or will get caught looking past the dangerous Dark Order tag team?

    Joey Janela vs. Hangman Page

In 2018 at the “All In” pay-per-view, Joey Janela and Hangman Page had a brutal Chicago Street Fight. The match stole the show that night. They will finally get a long-awaited singles rematch on Friday Night Dynamite nearly three years later.

Hangman Page has a big match with Brian Cage on his mind. Will he look past Joey Janela? He would do so at his own peril.

A Celebration of the Inner Circle

On Friday Night, AEW will celebrate their oldest stable, the Inner Circle. Eric Bischoff will be the host. For all their great work over the last two years, it should be an entertaining segment for sure.

Is this the final time we will see the Inner Circle on Dynamite? If it is, we are sure the members of the Inner Circle will have a lot to say. And what will they say about the Pinnacle before the Stadium Stampede? It will be fun to watch.

    Miro (c) vs. Dante Martin
    (TNT Championship)

Miro will be having his first defense of the TNT Championship title on Friday night. His opponent is a surprising choice in Dante Martin. Martin is known for his work with his brother in Top Flight. As his brother recovers from injuries, he will get a shot against Miro.

Will Martin be able to keep up with Miro? It seems unlikely. But with Lance Archer watching and waiting in the wings, Miro should be watching his back before AEW Double or Nothing.
