It is finally time for a grudge match months in the making as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 2/5/25. The feud between Swerve Strickland and Ricochet has arguably been the best in AEW the last few months.

On Wednesday night, we finally will see the much anticipated match-up. But that is not all! We have “Timeless” Toni Storm in action, Will Ospreay in action and an International All-Star Tag Match as well.

Let us learn more about this huge night in Atlanta in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

y vs. A Member of the Don Callis Family

Will Ospreay has been fighting with the Don Callis Family for months now. He has had some epic matches with Kyle Fletcher. He even defeated Brian Cage on last week’s AEW Dynamite only to be attacked by the Family yet again.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Ospreay will fight another member of the Don Callis Family. But who is he fighting? He defeated Cage last week.

Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher are in tag action later in this same show. Who is left for Will to fight on Wednesday night?

Lance Archer seems to be a good option. Could it be a surprise, new member? Regardless of who it is, the Callis Family will try to “soften up” Ospreay before the huge tag team match at Grand Slam Australia.

Hounds of Hell vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher

Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle are getting ready for a huge tag team match at Grand Slam Australia. They will be facing Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay. The Don Callis Family will stop at nothing to take out their former allies turned rivals.

Takeshita and Fletcher sure seem to be taking on a difficult warm-up match on Wednesday in Atlanta. They will face the Hounds of Hell.

Since reforming as the “Hounds of Hell” on the Collision Homecoming episode, Brody King and Buddy Matthews have been on a roll. If Takeshita and Fletcher are looking ahead to Grand Slam Australia, they could be ripe for an upset.

“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Queen Aminata

“Timeless” Toni Storm pulled off the performance of a lifetime. After pretending to be a rookie for six weeks, she returned to her “Timeless” Toni Storm persona and vowed to win her AEW Women’s World Championship back from Mariah May.

With Storm this angry and motivated, can May possibly retain her title in Australia?

But before Grand Slam Australia, Toni Storm will face off with Queen Aminata in Atlanta. Aminata has had some success on ROH but very little on AEW programming. With Mariah May on commentary, will Storm be able to focus on her dangerous opponent?

    Swerve Strickland vs. Ricochet

At the Hammerstein Ballroom last December, AEW fans turned on Ricochet. They began to boo him and throw toilet paper. It was the beginning of Ricochet’s turn to the dark side.

At AEW Worlds End, after Ricochet lost in the Continental Classic Semifinal match, Swerve Strickland made an entrance.

He proceeded to mock Ricochet and had the audience throw out toilet paper at him. Needless to say, Ricochet didn’t seem to take this continuing disrespect very well.

Over the past few weeks, Ricochet had looked for any opportunity to get his revenge. He even attacked Swerve Strickland with a pair of golden scissors. It left Strickland a bloody mess.

This week in Atlanta, Swerve Strickland and Ricochet will face off in Atlanta in singles action. With all the violence over the last few weeks, can this possibly be a clean match?  Regardless, it should be an epic match in the best feud in All Elite Wrestling.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next in the feud between Mox and Cope?
    • What will MJF do next?
    • Will we learn any other matches for Grand Slam Australia?
