Welcome to the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/23/20! It is time for AEW Holiday Bash! We are building towards some big AEW shows to end 2020 and begin 2021. Let us see what they have in store for us in this week’s very special holiday-themed AEW Dynamite.

    Tony Schiavone Interviews Sting

Sting has been his traditionally silent self since appearing on AEW’s Winter is Coming show on December 2nd. He called Cody Rhodes, “kid.” He has stared down Darby Allin and Team Taz. What is really on his mind these days in AEW?

On the special AEW Holiday Bash, Tony Schiavone will interview his former WCW colleague Sting. Will Sting have anything new to share with his old friend? Let us hope Sting gives us an early Christmas present and details his plans more clearly.

    Dustin Rhodes vs. Evil Uno

A few weeks ago, the Dark Order offered  Dustin Rhodes a chance to join their group as “7”. This certainly was an insult based on one of the past failed gimmicks of Dustin Rhodes in WCW. Can he get some revenge on Wednesday night? He has vowed to take out the members of the Dark Order. It sure seems to start with Evil Uno is a hazardous proposition.

    Hikaru Shida In Action

The AEW Women’s World Champion is finally back in action at AEW Holiday Bash! The champion has been made to feel really uncomfortable in recent weeks thanks to the always scary Abadon. Can Shida keep her eyes on her opponent on Wednesday night? You certainly wouldn’t blame her if she wasn’t prepared.

Jurassic Express vs. Colt Cabana, Five and Ten

Jurassic Express has been getting back into six-man matches in recent weeks. This week they get a shot against a Dark Order team that is desperate for a big win. Can the Jurassic Express hold them off? Also, will FTR make their presence known after their altercation with Jurassic Express a few weeks ago?

Chris Jericho & MJF vs. Top Flight

The Inner Circle has been in real turmoil in recent weeks. Chris Jericho demanded that they work together as a cohesive team once again. On last week’s Dynamite, the group successfully worked together to win a big twelve-man tag team match. The victory celebration was short-lived, however.

Top Flight attacked Chris Jericho and MJF after the match. The brothers’ Martin quickly demanded a match against the Inner Circle duo that was also quickly accepted. Top Flight has shown in recent tag matches their raw talent. Can Jericho and MJF successfully work together on Wednesday night against the dangerous duo?

    PAC vs. The Butcher

PAC is back! After reuniting the Death Triangle a few weeks ago, PAC was attacked by Eddie Kingston’s group after a tag team match. It has taken him a few weeks to recover from their vicious attack. But now the Bastard is finally back in action again.

He will get a match against The Butcher at AEW Holiday Bash. Pac had a great match with The Blade over a month ago. He picked up the victory that night. Can he do the same against The Blade’s vicious tag team partner?

The Young Bucks (c) vs. The Acclaimed
    (AEW World Tag Team Championship)

After weeks of trying to get their attention, The Acclaimed finally get the Young Bucks in a match on Wednesday night. The Acclaimed pulled off a huge victory last week against SCU. It did take a boombox to do so, but a win is a win. After the victory, they challenged the Young Bucks to a World Tag Team Championship match. They will get their big chance at AEW Holiday Bash.

The Acclaimed has had a lot of success in recent weeks on AEW Dark and Dynamite. They have wanted the Young Bucks in tag team action for quite a while. Will they get more than they bargained for on Wednesday night?
