Can we have more promos between CM Punk and MJF please as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/1/21? After an epic promo on last week’s AEW Dynamite, the show rolls into a busy December. The TBS Women’s Championship tournament is in full swing. Sting will be wrestling on network television. CM Punk and Bryan Danielson will be in action. We will even have a huge Atlanta Street Fight. It seems like another fun, AEW Dynamite. Let us find out more about the show in Duluth in the latest edition of AEW IGNITE.

    (AEW TBS Women’s Championship Quarterfinal)

The TBS Women’s Championship tournament has reached its last quarterfinal match. Ruby Soho shocked the world with her debut at AEW All Out. She won the Casino Battle Royale that night and a future AEW Women’s World Championship match. She was unsuccessful in her title match against Britt Baker at AEW Grand Slam this past September. Can she win on Wednesday night and eventually become the first-ever AEW TBS Women’s Champion?

Her challenger is Kris Statlander. At just 26 years old, Statlander has established herself as one of the brightest young stars in the AEW Women’s Division. Can our favorite alien keep up with the eleven-year veteran Soho? It will be a great match between two of the best AEW has to offer. And Nyla Rose awaits the winner in the semi-finals.

    Bryan Danielson vs. Alan Angels

Bryan Danielson’s Dark Order tour continues in Duluth. Bryan Danielson has defeated Evil Uno and Colt Cabana on the last two AEW Dynamites. He has vowed to destroy every member of the group until he gets his hands on Hangman Page.

His opponent on Wednesday night is Alan Angels. Angels certainly is a talented competitor. He has given Kenny Omega some very competitive matches in the past. But can he possibly withstand the brutal power of Danielson? That is a whole new test for Angels.

Sting & Darby Allin vs. The Gunn Club

The Gunn Club has been on a roll. They have racked up an impressive undefeated streak in recent months on AEW Dark and AEW Dark Elevation. They have recently been appearing on AEW Dynamite and have turned their attention to Sting along with Darby Allin.

It will be a great and rare treat to see the 62-year-old Sting wrestling on Wednesday night. This will only be his fifth match since joining AEW in December of 2020. Will Sting and Darby be ready for all three members of the Gunn Club? It will be fun to find out.

    CM Punk vs. Lee Moriarty

CM Punk was part of an epic promo with MJF last week in Chicago. What will he do for an encore this Wednesday night? It seems part of the plan is to face another young, talented competitor.

CM Punk will be facing Lee Moriarty on this week’s show. Moriarty has impressed in his matches on recent episodes of AEW Dynamite and Rampage. What can he do against the “Best in the World”? This could be a show-stealer for sure and hopefully, CM Punk will not be distracted by MJF. If he does, he could be ripe for a huge upset.

In an Atlanta Street Fight, Andrade El Idolo (shown on the left) battles Cody Rhodes (shown on the right) [Photo: AEW]

Cody Rhodes vs. Andrade El Idolo
    (Atlanta Street Fight)

On a recent AEW Dynamite, Andrade was able to defeat Cody Rhodes. He had some help on that night. This week he will be part of an Atlanta Street Fight. El Idolo will need all the help he can get on Wednesday night.

Cody Rhodes has been showing a more aggressive side in recent weeks. But going against the talented Andrade in a brutal Street Fight. Who will gain the edge in this heated rivalry? And will other wrestlers in the feud make their presence known as well?

    What To Expect:

    • Sting to continue to impress in the ring?
    • Will MJF confront CM Punk again after last week’s epic promo?
    • Will we learn more about the huge Winter is Coming show?
