Babes of Wrath vs. Sisters of Sin
(AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal)

This Wednesday night, the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Tournament rolls into the semifinals!  The first of the semifinal matchups sees Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) versus the Sisters of Sin (Skye Blue and Julia Hart).

While both teams had excellent showings in the opening round, there’s a notable gap in experience. While The Sisters of Sin have been a team since 2023, Babes of Wrath have been a team for about a month.

Will that lack of experience be the deciding factor in this exciting second round match? Find out who moves on to compete for the inaugural AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships on Dynamite.

    Jon Moxley vs.
    Máscara Dorada
    (Continental Classic Blue League)

This year’s Continental Classic opens with a matchup from the Blue League. The opening match promises to be interesting as CMLL’s Máscara Dorada faces off with Jon Moxley of the Death Riders.

Máscara Dorada is coming off of a big win at AEW Full Gear, retaining the CMLL World Trios Championship against Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada and NJPW World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita.

Jon Moxley, on the other hand, suffered another loss via submission. Can Moxley turn things around in Nashville? If he doesn’t, things might take a pretty dark turn for the leader of the Death Riders.

    Darby Allin vs Kevin Knight
    (Continental Classic Gold League)

Darby Allin is coming into the C2 off the back of a major loss at AEW Full Gear. However, Pac only managed to defeat Allin thanks to help from his running mates in the Death Riders.

Darby Allin appears intent to move on from that loss by re-establishing himself in this year’s Continental Classic.

His opponent in the opening match is Kevin Knight. While the Jetsetter has had significant success since signing with AEW, his work has mainly been in the tag division, teaming with “Speedball” Mike Bailey. Could his appearance in the Continental Classic be the start of a pivot to singles competition?

    Kyle Fletcher vs. Kazuchika Okada
    (Continental Classic Gold League)

Our final Continental Classic matchup on Wednesday night sees two members of the Don Callis Family going head-to-head.

Kyle Fletcher will not be entering this match in high spirits since he lost the TNT Championship to Mark Briscoe in a truly brutal match at Full Gear.

Not to mention his first match in the tournament is against the AEW Unified Champion, Kazuchika Okada. The Aussie native will be eager to prove himself against a reigning champion in this Gold League match

Meanwhile, Okada’s beef seems to be with Konosuke Takeshita, as the crown jewels of the Don Callis Family have been butting heads recently.

Can the “Greatest Tournament Wrestler in the World” focus on defending his Continental Classic Crown? And is all truly well within The Don Callis Family? Fans are looking forward to this excellent match this Wednesday night in Nashville.

    What Else To Expect:

    • Will we hear from Hangman Page after his devastating loss at AEW Full Gear?
    • Will Swerve Strickland make an appearance after his shocking return?
