AEW Full Gear was certainly filled with some truly shocking moments lately as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 11/23/22. It also had some excellent matches and title changes that will change the face of AEW forever. But the show must go on, as they say. What fallout will we see on AEW Dynamite? Let us find out more about this Thanksgiving Eve show in Chicago in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE.

    We’ll Hear from William Regal

It was a shocking moment when William Regal, the leader of the Blackpool Combat Club, betrayed Jon Moxley and threw brass knuckles to MJF. This was the deciding factor in the match as Maxwell used them to capture the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley. All the while, a smiling Regal watched on.

On Wednesday night, we will hear from William Regal for the first time since his betrayal. Why did he do it? And what comes next for the Blackpool Combat Club? It will be an emotional segment for sure.

Chris Jericho (c) vs. Tomohiro Ishii
    (ROH World Championship Match)

Chris Jericho has made a mockery of Ring of Honor and their 20+ year history since winning their World Title at AEW Grand Slam. He has cheated at every turn to hold onto the title. When will he finally be stopped, and by whom?

On Wednesday night, Chris Jericho will fight New Japan’s Tomohiro Ishii. “The Stone Pitbull” is one of the most dangerous and physical wrestlers in all the world. He is also a former Ring of Honor Television Champion. Will he finally be the one to shut Jericho up? At the very least, Chris Jericho is in for a world of hurt.

Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Jake Hager
    (AEW All-Atlantic Championship Match)

You cannot deny that Orange Cassidy has been a fighting champion since winning the AEW All-Atlantic Championship a month ago. He has defeated the title an impressive four times since winning the title. And he has certainly picked a dangerous competitor for his fifth title defense.

Wednesday night “The King of Sloth Style” will face Jake Hager of the Jericho Appreciation Society. Hager is a fifteen-year veteran of pro wrestling and an accomplished MMA fighter. He also has an amazing hat. He will prove to be Orange Cassidy’s biggest challenger to date.  Can Cassidy overcome the odds yet again?

    Ethan Page vs. Ricky Starks

(AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament Final)

It is time for the finals of the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament. The winner of the match gets an AEW World Championship match against MJF at December’s Winter is Coming. It would certainly be the biggest milestone in both competitor’s AEW careers.

It would seem Ethan Page would have the advantage. He has been resting since last Wednesday. Ricky Starks had to endure physical matches against Lance Archer and Brian Cage at AEW Rampage and AEW Full Gear, respectively. Have those matches taken a toll? We know Starks will give it his all, but the odds might be too big to overcome on Wednesday night.

    Death Triangle (c)
    vs. The Elite
(AEW World Trios Championship Best of 7 Series: Match Two)

The Elite returned to an appreciative New Jersey crowd at Full Gear. They rewarded that crowd with an incredible match against the Death Triangle. It was a surprise to see Fenix use the hammer to cheat his way to victory on Saturday night. But it isn’t the end of the feud. It was just Match One in a Best of Seven Series.

Match Two will take place on Wednesday night. How can these two trios teams possibly top Saturday night? We know they will certainly try and we know we are in for an incredible series of matches in the weeks and months to come.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for Jon Moxley?
    • How is MJF going to celebrate winning the AEW World Championship?
    • Will we hear from new AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Jaime Hayter?
