It is time for the AEW Dynamite 2nd Anniversary Show! It’s hard to believe how far the show has come since it debuted on October 2nd, 2019. We have witnessed a lot of exciting moments and growth of the company since that fateful night. Here is the AEW Dynamite IGNITE preview for the 10/6/21 edition of the show. Anniversary show. What does AEW have in store to celebrate this momentous occasion?

    __________________

This show has some exciting matches for sure. We will see Sammy Guevara’s first TNT title defense, Hikaru Shida’s attempt at history, a huge tag match with Danielson/Omega, and a Casino Ladder match with a title shot at stake. Let us find out more about this fateful night in Philadelphia in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

Hikaru Shida is on the verge of something historic. She can pick up her 50th victory in AEW. She hasn’t been on AEW Dynamite since losing her title at AEW Double or Nothing this May. Can she get back on track on Wednesday night?

She will have a very difficult opponent for Dynamite. Serena Deeb returns to action to face Shida and Deeb, when healthy, is among the best wrestlers in AEW. It should be an excellent match. Can Shida pick up the huge win at the Anniversary show? It will be fun to watch a match between two of the best in the AEW Women’s Division.

In one of the most shocking AEW moments in a long time, Sammy Guevara defeated Miro clean for the AEW TNT Championship. “The Redeemer” seemed unstoppable until he met “The Spanish God” last week. It was an emotional moment for the talented 28-year-old rising star to break through and win the TNT Championship.

However, there is no time to rest for the TNT Champion. In another surprising development, Bobby Fish challenged Sammy Guevara for the TNT Championship. Bobby Fish is a 19 year veteran of the industry, recently released from NXT. He knows this might be his chance to impress AEW management and maybe get a job. Can Guevara possibly be ready for Bobby Fish after last week? We’ll find out this Wednesday.

    Casino Ladder Match

The stakes couldn’t be any higher for the Casino Ladder Match. The winner of this match will earn a future AEW World Championship match. And with Full Gear just around the corner, this could determine the main event for that major show. No pressure, right? The competitors are quite a mix of talent, for sure.

We have the veteran Matt Hardy, the always dangerous Lance Archer, and the laziest man in wrestling, Orange Cassidy. Along with them, we have big rivals in Andrade El Idolo and Pac. Rounding out the pack, we have former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, who must be itching to face Kenny Omega one more time.

But all eyes are on the “Joker” in this ladder match on Wednesday night. So will this be another surprising debut? Or could it be a returning favorite? After all, aren’t we missing a certain anxious millennial cowboy?

The Elite (Kenny Omega, Adam Cole and The Young Bucks) vs. Bryan Danielson, Christian Cage, and Jurassic Express)

On AEW Rampage, Bryan Danielson won an excellent match against Nick Jackson. Unfortunately, the Elite didn’t take it well and attempted to attack Danielson post-match. That is until Christian Cage and Jurassic Express made the save. Danielson and Jungle Boy even made Omega and Cole tap out to stereo submissions in the middle of the ring. Unfortunately, the Elite will be out for revenge this Wednesday in Philadelphia.

This match is filled with a lot of possibilities. Will Adam Cole be able to get revenge on Jungle Boy for making him tap out? Will Danielson and Omega meet in the ring again after their classic match at AEW Grand Slam? Are Culter and Nakazawa going to get involved? This massive 8-man tag match could shape the main event picture for months to come.

    What To Expect:

    • Who is the next victim of Malakai Black?
    • Will (Will Hobbs) be the “Joker” in the Casino Ladder match?
    • Who is CM Punk facing next?
