AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 10/26/22
Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara
Bryan Danielson is certainly feeling betrayed these days. He tried to mentor the young Jericho Appreciation Society member Daniel Garcia. And what was his reward for this kind gesture? Garcia betrayed him and cost him the ROH World Championship in a recent match against Chris Jericho.
On Wednesday night, Danielson gets a chance at revenge against JAS member Sammy Guevara. Guevara might be the most hated wrestler in all of All Elite Wrestling. But you cannot deny his talent in the ring. It will certainly be another epic match in the long feud between Blackpool Combat Club and the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Chris Jericho & Daniel Garcia vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta
After betraying Bryan Danielson, Daniel Garcia is back with the Jericho Appreciation Society. His betrayal is not, however, without any consequences. He will have to face two very angry members of the Blackpool Combat Club on Wednesday night.
Wheeler Yuta has a lot of reasons to be furious with Daniel Garcia. Garcia betrayed the Blackpool Combat Club. And Garcia was also the man that took the ROH Pure Championship from Yuta just a month ago. Throw in the fact that Chris Jericho cheated Claudio Castagnoli out of the ROH World Championship and you have all the makings of an explosive tag team match.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 10/26/22
Riho vs. Jamie Hayter
After another excellent AEW Women’s World Championship match, Baker, Hayter and Rebel attacked Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida. In a surprising moment, Riho made her triumphant return to help save the day. On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Riho will make her in-ring return to Dynamite.
The last time Riho fought on AEW Dynamite was December of 2021. Who was her opponent that night? It was Jamie Hayter. Hayter lost that night in a highly competitive match. Can Hayter get her revenge? It should be another great match between two of the best in the AEW Women’s Division.

FTR vs. Swerve In Our Glory
(#1 Contender’s Match for AEW World Tag Team Championship)
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, FTR was looking for a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship. They currently hold three tag team titles and they are looking for a fourth. This led Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee to arrive and challenge FTR for a number one contender’s match. FTR accepted their challenge.
FTR has been, according to AEW’s rankings, the number one contender for nearly six months now. In that time, Swerve in Our Glory were the AEW World Tag Team Champions. It should be a great match-up between two of the best tag teams in the world. And a chance to face the Acclaimed for the AEW World Tag Team titles is on the line on Wednesday night. It is clearly some high stakes in Norfolk.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 10/26/22
Jon Moxley (c) vs. Penta El Zero Miedo
(AEW World Championship)
Jon Moxley was certainly not happy with how his title match against Hangman Page ended last week in Cincinnati. It was a scary moment when Page was knocked out abruptly ending their match. Moxley picked up the victory by ref stoppage.
On AEW Rampage, Moxley demanded another title match against a fearless opponent willing to challenge the champion. The man with zero fear, Penta El Zero Miedo was ready to take up the daunting challenge. Moxley and Penta haven’t faced off in an AEW ring. With the title on the line, it will be another excellent World title match.
