We’ll Hear From Kyle Fletcher

At WrestleDream, Will Ospreay was defending the AEW International Championship in a huge Triple Threat match. His best friend, Kyle Fletcher, shockingly betrayed him in the match. This shocking betrayal cost Ospreay the title, giving it to Konosuke Takeshita.

On Wednesday night, we will finally hear from Kyle Fletcher. Why would he side with Don Callis over Ospreay? Kyle refused to tell us last week. Will he finally tell the AEW audience the truth this week in Salt Lake City?

House of Black in Action

The House of Black is certainly at a bit of a crossroads. They will destroy their opponents in Trios action quite regularly on AEW Collison. But anytime they get a shot at the AEW Trios Championship, they will fall short.

On last week’s AEW Collision, they won their latest Trios match in under three minutes. House of Black is back in action on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Can they continue to build momentum in the Trios division?

Queen Aminata vs. Kamille

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Queen Aminata lost against Mercedes Moné. It cost her a chance at the TBS Championship. Can Aminata rebound in Salt Lake City?

Unfortunately, the Queen will be facing Kamille on Wednesday night. Mercedes Moné’s enforcer has destroyed her competition in AEW so far.

Kamille’s longest match in All Elite Wrestling has been about three minutes. Can Queen Aminata provide Kamille with her toughest test to date?

Sammy Guevara vs. Shelton Benjamin

On last week’s Dynamite, Shelton Benjamin was very impressive in his victory over Lio Rush. The 49-year-old veteran proved he will be a dangerous addition to AEW. What comes next as he awaits his October 30th match against Swerve Strickland?

Benjamin certainly is facing a tough test on this week’s AEW Dynamite. He will face Sammy Guevara in Salt Lake City. Guevara, one-half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions, is on a hot streak these days.

Can he pull off the upset as Benjamin might be looking ahead to October 30th? It certainly isn’t out of the question.

Jack Perry & The Young Bucks vs. Daniel Garcia & Private Party
(Trios Match)

Private Party came agonizingly close to defeating the Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at WrestleDream. But the close call seemed only further to motivate the talented team. They are asking for a rematch for the titles in the near future.

Daniel Garcia has set his sights on the TNT Championship. Garcia has had a lot of AEW title shots recently but hasn’t won a title in All Elite Wrestling. Can the talented 26-year-old breakthrough against TNT Champion Jack Perry?

The first steps to their lofty goals begin in a huge Trios Match on Wednesday night. Can Garcia and Private Party defeat The Elite? The Elite is certainly more experienced in this type of match. But an upset is certainly in the realm of possibility.

Mark Briscoe (c) vs. Chris Jericho
(ROH World Championship)
(Ladder War)

At WrestleDream, Mark Briscoe defeated Chris Jericho to retain the ROH World Championship.

It was the ultimate revenge for all the disrespect that Jericho had shown to Mark’s brother, the late, great Jay Briscoe in recent weeks. But the story certainly isn’t over for these two veterans.

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Jericho demanded a rematch for the ROH World Championship. He said he was cheated out of the title at WrestleDream.

Mark Briscoe agreed but only under the stipulation that the rematch was a Ladder War match on this week’s show in Salt Lake City.

Ladder War matches are a brutal tradition of Ring of Honor. Over the years, some of the greats, such as El Generico, Kevin Steen, Adam Cole, and the Young Bucks, have participated in this famous match.

Mark Briscoe has been in three Ladder Wars himself in Ring of Honor wrestling. Can he defeat Chris Jericho once and for all in this unique match? It will be a show stealer for sure.

What To Expect:

  • Who will the BCC target next?
  • Will MJF respond to Adam Cole in person this week?
  • What is on Swerve Strickland’s mind before his huge match with Shelton Benjamin?
