It is time for a major return! AEW has built a tag team-heavy card for this week’s AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/19/22. We will also have another CM Punk singles match against another ally of MJF. Let us find out more about the huge show in Washington D.C. in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/19/22.

    Jon Moxley Returns

Jon Moxley was last seen on AEW television on October 27, 2021. Moxley took a break to deal with personal issues. While pro wrestling fans certainly are happy he could care of his issues, we missed him in an AEW ring. He makes his return after a three-month absence on this week’s Dynamite.

What will Moxley have to say after a long absence? Who will be his first feud upon his return? He will have a lot to say to the Washington D.C. crowd. It will be an emotional return for sure.

Malakai Black & Brody King vs. Brian Pillman Jr. & Griff Garrison

On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Malakai Black was being attacked by the Varsity Blonds. This was when Brody King made his AEW debut and took out the young tag team by himself. On Wednesday night, King will make his in-ring debut.

King has become well-known for his physical style in ROH and NJPW. Now that he is part of the House of Black, what will he do next? The Varsity Blonds should be worried for Wednesday Night.

FTR vs. Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson

During last week’s AEW Dynamite, Tully Blanchard challenged Arn Anderson’s young tag team to fight FTR. He disrespected his old Horsemen ally and told the young team of Anderson and Johnson they were making a mistake following Arn’s leadership. This didn’t set too well with Arn.

Can Brock Anderson & Lee Johnson hang with one of the great tag teams in AEW? This will be one of their biggest matches to date. They will be fighting for the honor of Arn Anderson, but they have a lot to gain and very little to lose.

    Serena Deeb vs. Skye Blue

Serena Deeb showed a new vicious streak attacking the knee of Hikaru Shida before their match on last week’s AEW Dynamite. It seems Deeb has taken out her long-time rival for the time being. What will be next for the dangerous Deeb?

Deeb is not taking any breaks as she fights Skye Blue on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Blue is an impressive young talent who has been picking up some victories on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation in recent weeks. What will she do in her AEW Dynamite debut? She better be ready to protect her knees from Serena Deeb, it seems.

Sting & Darby Allin vs. The Acclaimed

The Acclaimed called out Sting and Darby before their tag team match last week. This didn’t sit well with the team as they attacked the Acclaimed post-match. However, it now sets up this huge tag team match in Washington D.C.

The Acclaimed has worked their way up the tag team rankings in recent weeks. If they are able to defeat the legendary Sting and Darby Allin on Wednesday, they will likely get a AEW Tag Team title shot. The stakes couldn’t be much higher for Caster & Bowens on Dynamite.

    (Mixed Tag Team Match)

The Elite versus Best Friends long-time feud added a new wrinkle on last week’s AEW Dynamite. Britt Baker, the real-life girlfriend of Adam Cole, attacked Kris Statlander. However, it seems she is ready to join the fight against the Best Friends.

We will have a rare mixed tag team match on Wednesday night. It will be our first opportunity to see Baker and Cole work together in AEW. But can they work well together? We know Cassidy and Statlander are a strong team. Can Baker and Cole say the same? We will know our answer soon.

    CM Punk vs. Shawn Spears

Wardlow was so close to defeating CM Punk on last week’s show. But MJF demanded Wardlow permanently hurt CM Punk before picking up the victory. This backfired, allowing Punk to win via roll-up. Wardlow was less than pleased.

MJF set up a match between CM Punk and Shawn Spears on this Wednesday night’s show. Spears, the twenty-year veteran, will be looking to further injure the wounded Punk on AEW Dynamite. Will Punk be able to survive another brutal opponent?

    What To Expect:

    • Will Cody Rhodes have something to say about the TNT Championship?
    • What is next for Bryan Danielson?
    • Will we learn more about matches for the upcoming AEW Beach Break 2022?
