It is time for “The Mother of All Simulcasts!” as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/1/25. It is also the sixth-ever “Fight for the Fallen” show, which will be held this year in honor of the victims of Hurricane Helene.
This special night will be the first ever shown on both TBS and Max at the same time. We will see four huge matches on Wednesday night.

After defeating QT Marshall at AEW Worlds End Zero Hour, Jeff Jarrett wasn’t in much of a celebratory mood. In a backstage interview, he said he would make an announcement on his career at Fight for the Fallen. The rest of his group certainly looked quite shocked.
What will the 57-year-old Jarrett have to say on Wednesday night? Is it possible that he will be wrapping up his nearly 40-year career? If he does, it will be an emotional way to start 2025.

Julia Hart vs. Jamie Hayter
For weeks, Julia Hart has been playing mind games with Jamie Hayter. Hart has not wrestled in an AEW ring since AEW Dynasty in April 2024. It will be great to see her back in the ring for the first time in over eight months.
Jamie Hayter has tried to focus on title opportunities in recent months but Hart keeps interfering in her ambitious plans.
Can Hayter pick up an important victory to start off 2025? We know that Julia Hart will want to make a good return to All Elite Wrestling and will do everything in her power to pick up the victory.

The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Acclaimed
The Hurt Syndicate has been actively recruiting new members in the last few weeks. One person they gave a business card to recently was Max Caster.
The self-proclaimed “Best Wrestler Alive” has certainly had quite an ego in the last few weeks. Anthony Bowens had a shot at the ROH World Title on last week’s AEW Rampage. But Max Caster cost Bowens the match instead by accident.
Can the decorated tag team get back on track at Fight for the Fallen? If they aren’t Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley will pick up an easy victory on Wednesday night.

Hangman Adam Page vs. Orange Cassidy
Orange Cassidy was quite frustrated after losing in the main event of AEW Worlds End. But he decided to challenge Hangman Page at Fight for the Fallen. It is the first-ever singles match between these two stars of All Elite Wrestling.
You can admire Orange Cassidy trying to get back on track but choosing Hangman Page as an opponent is an interesting choice. The unhinged Page literally burned down the childhood home of one of his rivals in 2024. Is this the best choice to start off Cassidy’s 2025?

Death Riders vs. Rated FTR
(Trios Match)
As the Death Riders cheated to win another main event at Worlds End, they were in for quite the surprise. FTR returned to get their revenge but they didn’t come alone.
Adam Copeland made his triumphant return after missing over seven months due to injury. They attacked the Death Riders to end the night.
They will be wasting little time to start 2025 in Asheville. It is a Trios Match with the newly formed Rated FTR versus Death Riders members Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta.
Can Rated FTR continue their momentum from Saturday night? It would be nice to see the Death Riders finally facing a real threat as we move into 2025.
