It is time for Blood & Guts as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 07/24/24! Since 2021, the most personal rivalries in AEW have been settled in the cages of Blood & Guts.

On the heels of Dynamite 250, we have another massive show. This week’s show will have Britt Baker’s return to the ring, an FTW Championship between two legends and Blood & Guts.

Let us learn more about this huge night in Nashville in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE.

The Debut of “The Glamour” Mariah May

Since debuting in AEW late last year, Mariah May’s entire image has been based on copying Toni Storm.

Whether copying her Toni’s Punk Rock or her “Timeless” look, Mariah May has played the protege role well.  But after the shocking betrayal of Storm, it is time for a change.

This week in Nashville, Mariah May will debut her new personality. It is “The Glamour” Mariah May. What does that mean? And what will May say about Storm now? Some questions might start to get answered on Wednesday night.

We’ll Hear From the New AEW International Champion MJF

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF defeated Will Ospreay in an epic sixty-minute match. It was arguably one of the greatest matches in AEW history. MJF, with a little help from a diamond ring, won the AEW International Championship.

It is now time to hear from the new AEW International Champion MJF. What will he have to say after defeating Will Ospreay? It seems likely we will see a lot of bragging from Maxwell Jacob Friedman on Wednesday night.

Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. vs. Hikaru Shida

On last week’s AEW Collision, Hikaru Shida was supposed to have a match with Skye Blue. But it was quickly called off because of an injury to Blue. A frustrated Shida, in a backstage promo, demanded a match against Britt Baker.

It will be Britt Baker’s first match since September 16, 2023. Can she possibly be ready for the challenge she is going to face in Nashville? A match against the three-time AEW Women’s World Champion is certainly a difficult way to come back.

Chris Jericho (c) vs. Minoru Suzuki
    (FTW Championship)

A couple of weeks ago, Jericho tried to get Japanese legend Minoru Suzuki to join his Trios team at Forbidden Door. Suzuki declined and demanded a match for Jericho’s FTW Championship. That time has come for Jericho.

Jericho’s allies, Bryan Keith and Big Bill, are banned from ringside. Can the 53-year-old Jericho overcome the 56-year-old Suzuki? With an FTW Rules match, it certainly could be a lot of fun in Nashville.

The Elite (Matthew Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Kazuchika Okada, Jack Perry, and “Hangman” Adam Page) vs. Team AEW (Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin, Max Caster, and Anthony Bowens)
      (Blood & Guts Match)

It is time for Blood & Guts! The annual tradition of AEW will hit Nashville on Wednesday night. And the stakes are certainly high.

The Elite has been making life miserable for All Elite Wrestling for months now. The Acclaimed, Swerve Strickland, Darby Allin, and Mark Briscoe all have their grievances with The Elite.

Can they take it out on them on Wednesday night? It should be another memorable Blood & Guts Match yet again.

     What To Expect:

    • What will Mercedes Moné do next?
    • Will we hear from the newest Trios Champions, The Patriarchy?
    • Will we learn any more matches for AEW All-In?
