We’ll Hear From “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry
It was another heartbreaking loss for Jungle Boy at Forbidden Door. He had just lost to the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Sanada. He decided to take out his loss on his frequent ally, Hook, attacking him after Perry’s match. It was certainly a shocking moment from a long-time fan favorite.
On Wednesday night, we will hear from Jack Perry for the first time since his attack on Hook. Why did he do it? What will come next for Jungle Boy? And how will Hook respond? We might start to get the answers on Wednesday night.

We’ll Hear From Adam Cole & MJF
Two weeks ago, Adam Cole and MJF fought to a thirty-minute draw. As they bickered about it last week, Tony Schiavone let them in on the interesting news: Adam Cole and MJF would be tag team partners in the Blind Eliminator Tournament.
On Wednesday in Hamilton, we will hear from the two unlikely tag team partners. Can they possibly coexist in the tournament together? It will be fun to watch them in the weeks to come.

Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament More Pairings Announced

Britt Baker vs. Ruby Soho
(Owen Hart Women’s Tournament Quarterfinal)
The final quarterfinal of the Owen Hart Women’s Tournament will be a repeat of last year’s final. Last year at AEW Double or Nothing, Britt Baker won the Owen Hart tournament over a heartbroken Ruby Soho. Who will win in 2023?
Soho is certainly a changed person from last year. She is part of the Outcasts, and they are not above cheating to win their matches. Can Soho defeat Baker this year? We will find out Wednesday who will join Athena, Willow Nightingale, and Skye Blue in the Owen Hart tournament semifinals.

Jon Moxley vs. Tomohiro Ishii
At Forbidden Door, Tomohiro Ishii hit a Brainbuster to defeat the BCC and win the big ten-match tag team match. Jon Moxley was quite furious to see Wheeler Yuta take the pin on Sunday night. He will get a hands-on Ishii in Hamilton.
On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Moxley looks for revenge against Tomohiro Ishii. This will be a rematch of their 2019 G1 Climax classic. It should be a hard-hitting match that could steal the show on Wednesday night.

Sting & Darby Allin vs. “The Painmaker” Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara
(Tornado Tag Team Match)
At Forbidden Door, Sting, Darby Allin, and Tetsuya Naito defeated Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, and Minoru Suzuki. Jericho didn’t take it too well and made a scene at the post-show press conference demanding another match against Sting. He will get his wish on AEW Dynamite.
Sting & Darby Allin will face off against Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara in a Tornado Tag Team match. These styles of matches are always quite chaotic. Will Jericho & Guevara be on the same page? If they aren’t, Jericho might just suffer another heartbreaking loss.
What To Expect:
- What is next for AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm?
