We are a little over two weeks away from Forbidden Door as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 06/19/24. We now know seven matches for the huge show and seven titles are currently on the line on June 30th. Will we learn more on this week’s AEW Dynamite?
This week’s show will certainly add more pieces to the Forbidden Door Puzzle. We have MJF’s first AEW match since Worlds End, an AEW World Tag Team Eliminator Match, and lots of future opponents facing off.
Let us find out more about this interesting card in Fairfax in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 06/19/24.

“Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa’s Contract Signing
The rivalry between Storm and Shirakawa has certainly heated up in recent weeks. It seems to be a case of jealousy over Mariah May.
Mina Shirakawa was the tag team partner of May in Club Venus in Stardom. They even won the Goddesses of Stardom Championships together.
May has been mentored by Toni Storm in AEW. Their relationship seems to have gotten closer recently, just as Mina Shirakawa has appeared more and more in the company.
On Wednesday night, we will have a contract signing for the AEW Women’s World Championship match at Forbidden Door. What antics will the two go to trying to gain Mariah’s affection? It will be interesting, to say the least.

Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay Face-To-Face
It was a big surprise when AEW International Champion Will Ospreay won the Casino Gauntlet to win a shot at AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door. I am sure few expected two of the most popular wrestlers in AEW to face off so soon.
On Wednesday night, they will face off in the ring. Ospreay certainly played some mind games last week when he held up the World Championship belt.
What will Swerve have to say about this disrespect? The highly anticipated match just might get a little more interesting in Fairfax.

Orange Cassidy, Dante Martin, Kyle O’Reilly & Mark Briscoe vs. Roderick Strong, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita, Zack Sabre Jr.
(All-Star 8 Man Tag)
It is 8 Man Tag action on Wednesday night in Fairfax. Some of the personal stories in the match are certainly going to add to the important stakes.
We have three competitors in the TNT Championship Ladder Match in Dante Martin, Mark Briscoe, and Konosuke Takeshita, facing off in this tag match.
Another big match-up to follow here will be Orange Cassidy, and Zack Sabre Jr. Zack is still quite furious that he lost to Cassidy in a Fatal 4 Way match last year at Forbidden Door.
He wants revenge at the Forbidden Door this year and has challenged Orange to a singles match on June 30th. Can the great technical wrestler gain the upper hand on Wednesday night in Fairfax? It will be a good story to follow, for sure.

The Young Bucks (c) vs. The Acclaimed
(AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Match)
The Elite has certainly been power-hungry in recent weeks. One of their targets recently was the Acclaimed.
They cut the Acclaimed segment two weeks ago after Max Caster had the nerve to insult them in a rap. The Acclaimed get a chance for revenge on Wednesday night.
Christopher Daniels ordered an AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Match for this Wednesday night in Fairfax. Can The Acclaimed get back into the title hunt? Will The Elite try to cheat their way to victory again? The battle for AEW continues on Dynamite.

MJF vs. Rush
As MJF gave his return promo on the recent AEW Dynamite, Rush interrupted. It seems Rush quickly set his sights on the returning MJF.
This feud quickly became quite physical as both attacked each other on last week’s AEW Dynamite. The match was set. MJF would face the dangerous Rush to open this week’s show.
Is MJF ready? He hasn’t wrestled since losing to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End on December 30, 2023.
MJF looks to be back into shape, but is facing the dangerous Rush a wise choice for your return match? MJF’s comeback may just be short-lived if he isn’t careful.
What To Expect:
- Who will Okada face on this show?
- What is next for “The Learning Tree”?
- Will we see more stars of NJPW, Stardom and CMLL on Wednesday night?
