AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 06/12/24
TV Time with the “Learning Tree” Chris Jericho
(Special Guests: Private Party)
The “Learning Tree” Chris Jericho is certainly a unique new persona. “Learning Tree” Jericho is an obnoxious veteran who is constantly telling others how to do their jobs. Whether it is parenting, camera work or serving food, he has advice for everything.
On last week’s show, he set his sights on Private Party and advised them to change their names to Public Party. It seems he isn’t done with the tag team yet. He has invited them to TV Time with the “Learning Tree.”
What will he have to share with them next? Can he get them to be under the “Learning Tree”? It will be entertaining to see. Thanks, Guys!

Rush in Action
Over the last two weeks, Rush has seemed to set his sights on the returning MJF. On last week’s AEW Dynamite, he even interrupted MJF’s promo to threaten the former AEW World Champion. The segment ended with a brawl between Rush and MJF.
On this week’s show in Des Moines, Rush will be in action. We don’t yet know who he will be facing. But we do know that we should feel really sorry for Rush’s opponent. He is going to mess with “The Bull,” and he will certainly get the horns on Wednesday night.

Dustin Rhodes vs. Jack Perry
(TNT Championship Qualifying Match)
When Adam Copeland had to forfeit his TNT Championship after AEW Double or Nothing because of a horrific injury, the Elite was ready with a plan.
They would simply give the championship to their new Elite member, Jack Perry. But Tony Khan and new EVP Christopher Daniels had other plans.
The new TNT Championship would be crowned at Forbidden Door in a Ladder Match. To be a part of that match, wrestlers would have to win a qualifying match. Jack Perry gets that chance on Wednesday night.
His opponent is the legendary Dustin Rhodes. After a win on last Saturday’s Collision, Rhodes delivered a fiery promo.
He shared his thoughts that Jack Perry had sacrificed nothing for the business. And since the qualifying match is supposed to be interference-free, can Perry finally prove himself? He will certainly gain some more respect if he does on Wednesday night.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 06/12/24
Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Zeuxis
(AEW TBS Championship)
Mercedes Moné has been on a revenge tour since her in-ring return at AEW Double or Nothing. She defeated Willow Nightingale at AEW Double or Nothing to win the AEW TBS Championship.
She will now face NJPW Strong Champion Stephanie Vaquer at Forbidden Door. It will be title vs. title in a rematch from last year’s NJPW Resurgence show.
It will be title vs. title if Moné still has the TBS Championship on June 30th. She will defend her title against CMLL’s Zeuxis on Wednesday night. Zeuxis is one-half of the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Champions.
One half with Stepanie Vaquer. Will Zeuxis pull off the upset and face her own tag partner at Forbidden Door? Moné better not look past the decorated champion on Wednesday night.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 06/12/24
Will Ospreay (c) vs. Rey Fenix
(AEW International Championship)
In the Casino Gauntlet Match on a recent AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay shocked the world to win the match. His reward will be an AEW World Championship match against Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door. Can Ospreay become a Double Champion?
But he still has to defend the AEW International Championship in the meantime. Rey Fenix, a former AEW International Champion, won the right to face Ospreay on this week’s Dynamite.
It will be a battle of two of the best high flyers in All Elite Wrestling. Who will win the title on Wednesday night? The real winner is the fans in Des Moines.
What To Expect:
- What is next for Swerve Strickland?
- What will the Elite do next?
- Will we see more stars of NJPW, Stardom and CMLL on Wednesday night?
