AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 05/24/23
The Lucha Brothers (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta
(ROH World Tag Team Championship)
On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Rey Fenix to win a future title shot. With only days before AEW Double or Nothing, Claudio is cashing in on that opportunity. Will Castagnoli become a double champion?
The Blackpool Combat Club has only days before the Anarchy in the Arena match. Will they be looking ahead, or can they focus on the dangerous Lucha Brothers? This could possibly be one of the best matches of a very busy Double or Nothing week.
Orange Cassidy (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher
(AEW International Championship)
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Orange Cassidy agreed to defend the AEW International Championship at Double or Nothing. The battered and injured Cassidy agreed to defend the title in a 21-man Battle Royal on Sunday night. How can he possibly survive?
But the issues will get even worse for Orange Cassidy on Wednesday night. He was recently attacked by Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher. Cassidy has agreed to defend the AEW International Championship on Dynamite a mere four days before the brutal battle royal match on pay-per-view. With the title match on Wednesday night and the Battle Royal on Sunday, it seems like Orange Cassidy’s amazing title reign is reaching its end.

We’ll Hear From Ricky Starks
Ricky Starks has had his hands full with Bullet Club Gold over the last few weeks. He has been attacked by Jay White and Juice Robinson on numerous occasions. On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Robinson got Starks’ disqualified from his match against Jay White.
We will hear from Ricky Starks tonight in Las Vegas. What are his thoughts after being cheated out of his match against White? Will we see a potential rematch in the near future? Questions will start to be answered on Wednesday night.

We’ll Hear From All Four Pillars
The Fatal Four Way for the AEW World Championship has been brewing for months now. On Wednesday night, we will hear from Sammy Guevara, Jungle Boy, Darby Allin and MJF. What will they have to say before the huge main event? Will any of the four competitors be able to get the advantage heading into Sunday night? It should be fun to hear from the four talented competitors in this constantly entertaining feud one last time before the pay-per-view.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 05/24/23
We’ll Hear From AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR
Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal have been playing some huge mind games with FTR in recent weeks. Lethal has been playing into his long friendship with Mark Briscoe as well. Briscoe will even be the special guest referee on Sunday for this AEW World Tag Team Championship match.
On Wednesday night, we will hear from FTR. Will they apologize for their accidental attack on Briscoe? Jarrett and Lethal seem to have had the upper hand heading into Double or Nothing. Can FTR get back on track before Sunday night?
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 05/24/23
Tony Khan Will Announce The First Location For “AEW Collision“
On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced the locations of multiple upcoming episodes of the new Saturday night show, AEW Collision. He didn’t, however, announce the location of the debut episode on June 17th. That will change on Wednesday night.
The big question all fans are asking is where will the debut episode emanate from? The biggest rumor is the United Center in Chicago. If that happens, Khan might also be announcing the return of a very famous Chicago-based wrestler. A lot is riding on AEW Collision, having a successful debut. Will the seed begin to be planted with the debut show location announcement? It will be fun to find out.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 05/24/23
Taya Valkyrie vs. Lady Frost
Taya Valkyrie got what she wanted on last week’s AEW Rampage. She will get a rematch for the AEW TBS Championship against Jade Cargill. Maybe she can finally use her finishing move on Sunday night.
Before that huge match, Valkyrie has a dangerous match against Lady Frost. Frost has quickly become one of the most dangerous female talents in the world. She has impressed in Ring of Honor in recent weeks. If Valkyrie is looking ahead to Sunday night, she might just find herself in for a shocking upset in Las Vegas.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 05/24/23
House of Black (c) vs. Blake Christian, AR Fox & Metalik
(AEW World Trios Championship)
The Open House Challenge that has been instituted by House of Black could lead to some interesting possibilities. They have already defended it under the new rules against Best Friends and Bandido on a recent AEW Dynamite. Can anyone stop the frightening Trios Champions?
The new team of Blake Christian, AR Fox and Metalik will get a chance on Wednesday night. The talented high flyers can certainly be a real challenge. What stipulation will they add to the Open House Rules title match? It should be another fun match in the talented Trios division.
Chris Jericho & Adam Cole’s Official Contract Signing
The feud between Chris Jericho and Adam Cole is certainly a personal one in recent months. It got so bad that Jericho tried to get Cole banned from AEW arenas. Last week’s AEW Rampage reached a climax with Cole and Jericho brawling in the arena yet again. At that point, they agreed to an Unsanctioned Match at AEW Double or Nothing.
On Wednesday night, it is time for a Contract Signing. Is putting Adam Cole and Chris Jericho in the same ring a wise decision? Will they even get to Sunday night? The personal feud might just become more heated at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
What To Expect:
- Will we learn more about AEW Collision?
- Will we learn more matches for Double or Nothing?
- Will the Trios Championships be defended on Sunday night?
