This week, on AEW Dynamite, TNT’s flagship wrestling show makes its Ohio debut! In addition to multiple matches, including a six-man tag pitting The Inner Circle against Private Party and Darby Allin, Jon Moxley will speak to his hometown crowd. What will the new number one contender for the AEW World Championship say? This, and more, will be detailed in the Diatribe!

He calls Jericho his final obstacle to the top of the mountain. Moxley takes umbrage with The Inner Circle as well, listing off their heinous acts in the past. Moxley doesn’t consider himself a role model or hero, but he has honor and lives by a code. He calls Jericho a liar, manipulator, and a bully, the latter of which he especially hates. Cue Jericho’s entrance music. The champion stands on the stage with a mic in hand. Jericho says Moxley earned his spike to the eye, since he refused to join The Inner Circle. He mocks Moxley, calling him “Jack Sparrow.” Jericho says he saw Moxley’s mother backstage, calling her “fetching.” He also apologized to her for what he did to Moxley, though insisted it was his fault. Jericho says Moxley doesn’t have what it takes to even blink with both eyes, let alone beat him. To Moxley’s challenge, Jericho says, “go to hell.” He invites the rest of The Inner Circle, which brings out Santana, Ortiz, Sammy Guevara, and Jake Hager.
Moxley says he isn’t about to walk into a 5-on-1 beat-down. He says it’s 5 against himself and the entire arena, the Cleveland crowd firmly behind him. Moxley makes his way down the ramp. Ortiz introduces five of his allies. Jericho leads the group down the ramp, Ortiz leading the charge. Moxley headbutts Ortiz before DDTing him on the ramp. This leads to a full-on brawl, various officials and security members attempting to break it up. Moxley drops another official before making his way back through the crowd.
