On October 2, 2019, the first episode of AEW Dynamite debuted on TNT and this is the AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary.

On October 1, 2025, the 6th Anniversary Show will be held in Hollywood, Florida airing on TBS. All Elite Wrestling has come a long way in six years. Happy Anniversary!

For this special episode, we will have some huge matches. We have a Mixed Tornado Tag Team match, two huge Trios matches and a TNT Championship match. It should be a great show to honor AEW.

Let us learn more about this special night in London, Ontario in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary
“Timeless” Toni Storm Returns to Hollywood (Florida)

“Timeless” Toni Storm seems unstoppable. Many expected Storm to retain her title in the Four-Way Match at AEW All Out.

But, shockingly, Kris Statlander pinned Storm to win the AEW Women’s World Championship. The 217 day reign of Storm’s historic fourth reign had come to an end.

On Wednesday night, Toni Storm will finally return for the first time since that shocking loss. What will “Timeless” Toni Storm have to say? It is safe to say that it will be memorable for sure.

    Jurassic Express Returns

At AEW All Out, Jack Perry came out to confront the Young Bucks after their match. Jack Perry had been missing from action for nearly the entire year.

He attempted to attack the Young Bucks but was unsuccessful by himself. That is until Luchasaurus made the save. Jurassic Express was back together.

On this week’s show, Jurassic Express will return to AEW Dynamite. This will be their first time together since 2022.

What will they have to say to the Hollywood crowd? Can they rejoin the crowded Tag Team division? We will start to find out on Wednesday night.

    AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary
Darby Allin & Kris Statlander vs. Wheeler Yuta & Marina Shafir
    (Mixed Tornado Tag Match)

After Kris Statlander’s victory over Mina Shirakawa on last week’s show, Statlander’s old friend, Wheeler Yuta, came to celebrate with Kris. Was she actually joining the Death Riders? The answer was a resounding no as she clothlined Yuta.

On this week’s Anniversary show, Kris Statlander will join with another enemy of the Death Riders, Darby Allin, to challenge Wheeler and Marina Shafir.

It is a Tornado Tag Match on Wednesday night. That means anything can happen. What chaos will we see in this rare Mixed Tornado Tag match?

    AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary
Jon Moxley, Daniel Garcia & Claudio Castagnoli vs. Hangman Adam Page, Powerhouse Hobbs & Samoa Joe
    (Trios Match)

On last week’s Dynamite, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Powerhouse Hobbs in a competitive match. It certainly wasn’t a clean victory as Pac helped distract Hobbs, costing him the victory.

After the match, there was another attack by the Death Riders. That is until Samoa Joe and Hangman Adam Page made the save.

At the 6th Anniversary show, we have a huge Trios Match. It will include the first meeting of Jon Moxley and Hangman Page since their last match for the World title in July. Can the Death Riders be stopped on Wednesday night?

    AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary
Josh Alexander & The Young Bucks vs. Kenny Omega & Brodido
    (Trios Match)

On the September 3rd edition of AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega was part of an All Star 8-Man Tag Team match. His team lost but that wasn’t enough.

Kyle Fletcher attacked Omega and drove him through a table. It seemed like Kenny Omega would be out of action for a long time. That long-term injury ends in less than a month.

Omega will join Brodido in a Trios Match on Wednesday night against Josh Alexander and the Young Bucks. They were also a part of that All-Star tag match last month. Will “The Cleaner” start his revenge tour in Hollywood? It will be great to see him back in action so soon.

    AEW Dynamite 6th Anniversary
Kyle Fletcher (c) vs. Orange Cassidy
    (AEW TNT Championship)

TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher was supposed to face Hologram on this week’s show. But Fletcher decided to attack Hologram on AEW Collision instead. This forced Hologram out with an injury. But Fletcher will still have to defend his title on Wednesday night.

His opponent will be Orange Cassidy. Orange Cassidy returned to action just last week after a five-month absence in a Trios Match.

Can he possibly be ready for this serious challenge against Fletcher this quickly upon his return? With Orange Cassidy you know he will give it his all in Hollywood.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for Christian Cage after Adam Copeland’s departure?
    • Will we begin to learn more matches for WrestleDream?
    • Will Jaime Hayter’s Blood & Guts challenge be answered?
