It is time for AEW All Out 2021! It is safe to say that this is arguably the biggest pay-per-view in AEW’s short history. Having CM Punk’s first match in seven years certainly raises the stakes for this show. We also have all four major AEW titles on the line as well! Let us look at what should be a truly exciting Sunday night in Chicago.

AEW All Out 2021
Matt Hardy, Private Party and Hybrid 2 vs. Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Wheeler Yuta and Jurassic Express
This pre-show match is an interesting late addition to the card. Orange Cassidy and The Best Friends have been feuding with the Hardy Family Office for weeks. After Cassidy picked up a victory over Jack Evans on this week’s Dynamite, the Family Office attacked. They had the upper hand until the Jurassic Express arrived to save the day.
It still seems strange to see Jurassic Express insert themselves in the feud at the last minute. But getting the talented tag team on this huge card is a pleasant and welcome surprise. This match promises lots of fast-paced, high-flying action to get the Chicago crowd warmed up.
Women’s Casino Battle Royale
(Winner Gets an AEW Women’s World Championship Match)
All Elite Wrestling loves a good chaotic battle royal. Twenty-one women will compete in a Casino Battle Royale on the main pay-per-view card for the very first time. The winner will get a future title shot for the AEW Women’s World Championship. The stakes are quite high.
It is truly hard to pick a winner for this match. We have some talented wrestlers like Tay Conti, Nyla Rose, Thunder Rosa, Anna Jay, The Bunny and Penelope Ford just to name a few. We know twenty of the twenty-one competitors in this Battle Royal. Who will be the surprise entrant? And do they love songs from Rancid? It will be fun to find out on Sunday night.
AEW All Out 2021
Paul Wight vs. QT Marshall
Poor, poor QT Marshall. His group, The Factory, hasn’t had a lot of success in All Elite Wrestling. So they decided to pick on commentator Tony Schiavone a few weeks ago. This brought out the wrath of Tony’s AEW Dark: Elevation commentary partner, Paul Wight. As a result, the former Big Show will enter an AEW ring for his very first match with the company.
It seems like the makings of a huge victory for Wight in his AEW in-ring debut. But on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, the Gunn Club turned on Wight. Will the Gunn Club and The Factory spoil Wight’s big debut at All Out?
Miro (c) vs. Eddie Kingston
(AEW TNT Championship)
After a slow start to his AEW career, Miro has quickly become one of the best characters in all of All Elite Wrestling. Since winning the title in May, “The Redeemer” has utterly dominated the TNT Championship division. In fact, he was the one the challenged Eddie Kingston for Sunday night. This match has been set up with some great promos on recent Dynamite and Rampage shows.
Eddie Kingston hasn’t had a lot of singles success in AEW. He will be out to prove himself against Miro on Sunday night. Expect a truly physical match in Chicago here. Can Kingston win a major title in AEW? I know the AEW fans would really love for him to do so but Miro is a daunting challenge.
AEW All Out 2021
Britt Baker (c) vs. Kris Statlander
(AEW Women’s World Championship)
Britt Baker is arguably the hottest act in all of AEW. It was a well deserved title victory when she finally won the Women’s World Championship from Shida at AEW Double or Nothing. She has followed that up with some entertaining defenses over Nyla Rose and Red Velvet in recent weeks. Our favorite dentist is now defending her title against a dangerous opponent, Kris Statlander, at AEW All Out.
Statlander, our favorite alien, has been on a major roll since returning from injury earlier this year. She is a worthy competitor and a real threat to Baker’s title reign. What will these two have in store for us on Sunday night? Baker, despite her popularity with fans, is not above some underhanded tactics to defend her title.
Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima
The “Forbidden Door” is truly open again in Chicago. Jon Moxley has been looking for some New Japan opponents in recent months. His newest challenger is truly surprising. On Sunday night, Jon Moxley will face the 50 year old Japanese legend Satoshi Kojima.
Kojima, a former two time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, is an interesting challenge to Moxley. He has certainly slowed down in recent years with injuries but a healthy, motivated Kojima can still be a stiff challenge to Mox. We should expect a physical, strong style match in Chicago.
AEW All Out 2021
Chris Jericho vs. MJF
The Final Fight
(If Jericho Lose, He Retires)
This match has had the longest build of any on the entire card. Chris Jericho has lost to MJF on three separate occasions in recent months. He hasn’t been able to beat his cocky rival in a singles match. On Sunday night, he will put his thirty year career on the line against MJF.
Could Chris Jericho’s legendary career come to an end at AEW All Out? The 50 year old Jericho has been talking about retiring for some time. The Demo God has slowed down a bit but still can put on some good matches in 2021. He will certainly pull out all the stops in Chicago. And MJF would like nothing more than to have the bragging rights of ending the career of Chris Jericho. Could you imagine his promos about it for the weeks and months to come? MJF might be bragging about it forever.
The Young Bucks (c) vs. Lucha Brothers
(AEW World Tag Team Championship, Cage Match)
The Young Bucks are back in form, absolutely eating it up being their cocky, obnoxious selves. After holding the title for nearly ten months, they face their toughest challenge yet. On Sunday night, they their oldest rivals in AEW, the Lucha Brothers, inside a Steel Cage.
This could easily be the best match of the entire night. The Young Bucks and the Lucha Brothers have put on some amazing and dangerous matches over the years. And putting them in a steel cage? It has the recipe to be an all-time classic.
Kenny Omega (c) vs. Christian Cage
(AEW World Championship)
Kenny Omega has been close to unbeatable since winning the AEW World Championship last year at AEW Winter is Coming. That is until he faced Christian for the Impact World Championship on the premiere episode of AEW Rampage in early August. Christian Cage won the title that night in Pittsburgh. Does the 47 year old veteran Cage have Omega’s number?
The Elite will stop at nothing to retain the AEW World Title. Can Cage possibly overcome the outside interference yet again? It is hard to say but based on their recent Rampage match we are in for a great World title match on Sunday night.
AEW All Out 2021
CM Punk vs. Darby Allin
It was an emotional night when CM Punk debuted in front of a Chicago crowd on August 20th. He wasted no time in his amazing promo and challenged Darby Allin to a match at AEW All Out. It will be CM Punk’s first professional wrestling match since the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble.
Will CM Punk have “ring rust” after such a long layoff? We know Punk will be willing to pull out all the stops to impress in front of the Chicago crowd. He isn’t called “The Best in the World” for nothing.
It is best to not forget about Darby Allin. Allin has become one of the hottest acts in all of All Elite Wrestling with his fast-paced, high-risk style. We know he will be excited for the biggest stage of his career. It will be a memorable main event for a special pay-per-view.
What Else To Expect:
- Who will be Andrade’s mystery opponent?
- Will we see some big title changes on Sunday night?
- Will we get to hear “Final Countdown”?
