The most exciting hour on television was back once again this week with a new era for the show on the horizon. With the likes of Drew Gulak, Lucha House Party and Akira Tozawa finally moving on from the purple brand, 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick explained to the world that he has reached a deal with William Regal to welcome NXT talent in the coming weeks, beginning with Angel Garza and the reigning NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio rush returning to the show. That being said, here is what 205 Live had in store for the fans following SmackDown. The show features a main event of Oney Lorcan vs Ariya Daivari vs Tony Nese.
Brian Kendrick vs Gentleman Jack Gallagher
Weeks after Brian Kendrick turned on his friend Jack Gallagher with a kendo stick, these two got to lock horns in one-on-one action. Gallagher didn’t even let Kendrick get in the ring before the two started brawling around ringside. Gentleman Jack quickly introduced a kendo stick as retribution on his former friend after what he did to him last month. The two men would get in the ring and the match would finally begin.
Gallagher would hit a Shotgun Dropkick in the corner near the end of the match, but Kendrick got his foot on the rope to break the count. Kendrick found the opportunity afterwards to lock Gallagher into the Captain’s Hook submission. Gallagher crawled his way near the rope before the veteran turned it back over to keep the hold on a little longer before he escaped. The match would find its finale when a little bit of Sliced Bread was introduced by Brian Kendrick on Gallagher to capture a win for the second straight week.
Winner: Brian Kendrick

The Singh Brothers vs Justin Alexander and Justin Morris
A nice showing for what Todd Phillips called the greatest tag team of 205 Live. Works out for them that they are now the only one. The Singh Brothers had a nice showing against Justin Alexander and Justin Morris, as they exemplified their great tag ability before putting an end to these two men. A devastating Bollywood Blast would seal the deal for the former associates of Jinder Mahal, moving them even closer to more success in 205 Live.
Winners: The Singh Brothers
Oney Lorcan vs Ariya Daivari vs Tony Nese
It will come as no surprise when I say this was a physical match considering who is in it, especially the “Boston Butcher” Oney Lorcan. Lorcan was going crazy all match long if that surprises you, as all three men were hoping to move forward in the chase for a possible title shot down the line against Lio Rush. Ariya Daivari is attempting to close out his 2019 and had a great showing for himself, but in the end, it was the Tony Nese show. “The Premiere Athlete” dazzled in this one as he attempts to get his Cruiserweight Championship back. He had his swagger back and it showed in the ring. He hit a picture-perfect springboard moonsault onto Oney Lorcan for a near two count.
Following that, he looked to put an end to the match with a 450 Splash to Lorcan but Daivari would not let that happen. This led to Nese hitting a beautiful dive to the outside to eliminate Daivari before attempting another 450 that would miss. Lorcan would hit his Half and Half Suplex on Nese but it would be stopped by Daivari. The finish of the match came when Nese got to the top one more time to finally hit the Dudebuster and notch a huge victory in this new era of 205 Live.
Winner: Tony Nese

The new era of 205 Live is off to an incredible start and the champion will soon return home as next week Lio Rush comes back for the first time since winning the NXT Cruiserweight Championship from Drew Gulak. Plenty of fun coming with this show, do not miss it!
