With a wheel of misfortune, a dominance of kings and emperors, and a power move between NXT’s women, last week’s edition of NXT was a night to remember. But once again, this Wednesday is planned to be another epic event for the black and gold brand. For what it’s worth, some have fallen short in their defense of a title (we’re looking at you, Johnny Gargano), but the NXT Women’s Championship match will be a challenge for the ages as a ‘genius’ will go one on one against a ‘nightmare.’ And after their all-out assault on Tyler Breeze, Fandango, and Drake Maverick, is there anyone on NXT that can stop Pat McAfee and the Kings Of NXT? All this and more as we bring you Coming Up NXT for November 18th, 2020, Queen of the Ring.

    Fight Night

Before the big NXT Women’s Championship match, we can only hope to sort through the mess that is the current women’s division as Candice LeRae continues to cause her brand of poison throughout NXT. With Indi Hartwell revealed as the mysterious character helping the Gargano’s, there will be retribution from Shotzi Blackheart for her interference. But Blackheart may have to wait in line as Toni Storm also has her own idea of revenge after LeRae blatantly cheated her way to a win. Will we see a big tag match between these four superstars to settle the dispute on this week’s episode?

    A Word From The Prince

And while the women of NXT have their own clash coming, the line of men waiting for what the NXT Champion Finn Balor has to say is as long as his list of challengers for his title.

For the first time since Takeover 31, Balor will speak to the NXT Universe since his surgery on his jaw just several weeks ago live on the show. While it is unexpected what will happen, will the Prince announce that he is cleared for action to defend his coveted title? Or, for the second time this year, will the NXT Championship become vacant due to injury?

    For The Throne

At NXT Takeover: In Your House, Io Shirai did the unthinkable… she defeated the Queen, Charlotte Flair, and her challenger on this week’s show in a historic triple threat match for the NXT Women’s Championship. And since her big win, the Genius of The Sky has defended her title to all comers who stand in her way.

For Rhea Ripley, it’s been an up and down path back to title contention. Between clash with Dakota Kai, face to face with Ember Moon, and several other women, The Nightmare has been doing everything in her power to get the NXT Women’s Championship back in her grasp. But it’s been a skyrocket shot to into contention, especially after defeating Raquel Gonzales at NXT Halloween Havoc 2 weeks ago in a titanic match.

In this week’s main event, these two women who are destined to fight forever face off for the NXT Women’s Championship as the champion Io Shirai faces the former champion, Rhea Ripley. Can Io once again overcome the challenge and continue her reign as the face of the NXT women’s division? Or will The Nightmare become only the 2nd woman in the brand’s history to be a two-time NXT Women’s Champion?

    We’re Having A ‘Ruff’ Time

Also, on the show, we hope to hear more on the situation with Xia Li, Boa, and their ‘Shin Fu.’ Who was that mysterious figure who marked the Japanese superstar? We may also see the new NXT North American Champion Leon Ruff, but he’s more than likely still on the run from former champion Johnny Gargano. Will Johnny Wrestling get his rematch at a title he claims he never lost? And what of Damian Priest, who is also deserving a shot at the title he was screwed out of at Halloween Havoc? Between Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, and Dakota Kai, who will be next in line after this week’s main event? And of course, what else will ‘the greatest four-man group in WWE history’ do next to terrorize the black and gold brand?

That is all to come on this week’s edition of Coming Up NXT for November 18th’s episode! Tune in Wednesday at 8 pm EST only on the USA Network.
