Super Astro Jr and Sonic vs Raziel and Cancerbero
The first match you could say is rookies against veterans. On the babyface side are Super Astro Jr and Sonic. These guys are growing with every match. Every time and opportunity that they have, they have shown they’re hungry to achieve glory in lucha libre. But in front of them are Raziel and Cancerbero, these two guys have been in CMLL for many years. However due to different situations or programming ideas, they haven’t had the opportunity to be in a better place on CMLL’s card. That hasn’t hampered their opportunity to showcase their abilities though. They’re awesome lucha libre masters and they always surprise us with their arsenal. This match will be great to open the event and it’ll be full of different styles, from classic to high-flying.
Angel de Oro, Niebla Roja, and Esfinge vs Hechicero, Luciferno, and Ephesto
The second match is a classic CMLL Trios match. Once more, Angel de Oro, Niebla Roja, and Esfinge will join forces to face Hechicero, Luciferno, and Ephesto. On the technicos side, Angel de Oro and Niebla Roja have worked together sometimes and now with the help of Esfinge, they’ll search for victory. In this case, they have some points their favor like speed, dives, and their surprising impact that they can make. It won’t be easy, hell is open and across the ring are Luciferno, Ephesto and they will be teaming with the master of llaveo, Hechicero. Luciferno and Ephesto are a great team, constantly preparing to dominate in every match.
CMLL World Women’s Championship Match
Marcela (c) vs Amapola
Championships are meant to expose the holder and to show if you are prepared physically and psychologically to be champ. That’s the case of Marcela who has held the CMLL World Women’s Championship for 241 days. Now it’s the time to show why this belt still hers but this challenge won’t be easy. In front of her, she will have a great challenger in Amapola. Amapola has all the ingredients to get the victory. At Juicio Final, she defeated Kaho and won her hair. Now, she wants to increase his triumphs, and her goal is the Women’s Championship. This will be an amazing match because these ladies, we know them well and they always give us great matches. It’ll be full of honor and courage to show who is the best woman in CMLL.
Volador Jr, Sanson, Cuatrero, and Forastero vs Gran Guerrero, Templario, Euforia, and Soberano Jr
In the next match, we will have eight luchadors in the ring to search of victory. This match is different to those that CMLL shows us every week. In the first team, we have NGD (Sanson, Cuatrero, and Forastero), this Trio has defended their championships often. With every victory, they have shown that they are the present and the future of CMLL. Now, they will be complemented by the King of Air, Volador Jr. This team has everything: strength and high-flying. On the other side of the ring will be Los Guerreros Laguneros. They will be represented by Gran Guerrero, Euforia, and Templario. Soberano Jr will join them. Los Guerreros always have fought with tremendous strategy. Now with the help of Euforia’s son, Soberano Jr, his job will be to add the youth, his dives, and especially his speed.
This match will be tremendous, eight luchadors that could be the future and present of the company, it will full of spots and incredible moves.
L.A. Park, Hijo de L.A. Park, and L.A. Park Jr vs Rush, Mistico, and Bestia del Ring
The semi-main event will be a war. You could call it a family honor match or simply a battle for supremacy. That’s because it’s the Muñoz family of Rush, Bestia del Ring, and Mistico against the Family Real or Park Family. This rivalry was born on the independent scene while Rush was growing his career. He searched for the most important mask at that time and of course, that’s L.A. Park. Park and Rush have clashed in almost every city in Mexico. They have shown and have spoken that this rivalry has come another level but betting matches, like a mask vs hair match hasn’t happened yet.
For this match, each man is supported by his family. This is a great moment, L.A. Park coming back to the Cathedral, Arena Mexico. Now, this war won’t be just in the ring, it’ll be in every part of the arena. These families will deliver everything in every second, minute, and fall of the match.
Jushin Thunder Liger vs Caristico vs Negro Casas vs Ultimo Guerrero
Finally, we have the main event. This match will be full of feeling and gratefulness. It will be the last match for Jushin Liger in Arena Mexico. This match is to recognize his career and his teachings to the world of wrestling. CMLL didn’t want to miss out of this important time in wrestling. Some weeks ago, they shared that this match will be held for him. This match will also be different from what CMLL has presented in most events. In the match will be four luchadors, Caristico, Negro Casas, and Ultimo Guerrero will have the honor to wrestle Liger. The rules will be that only two luchadors will fight at a and the other two will wait to be tagged in. Liger will face three men representative of lucha libre, with contributions to lucha libre like him. He will showcase his arsenal and what he’s learned around the world, one last time.
