Although starting her wrestling career much later than most, Mina Shirakawa has traveled the world and captured the hearts of fans with her in-ring talent, charisma, and personality.

Mina Shirakawa made her wrestling debut on August 5, 2018, at the first event for the Best Body Japan Pro-Wrestling (BBJ) promotion, where she teamed with Shoko Nakajima in a match against Reika Saiki and Hoshimi Muramatsu.

She continued wrestling for the company, and during this time, Shirakawa also made appearances in DDT Pro-Wrestling and, became a regular member of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling (TJPW) roster.
During this time, Shirakawa wrestled some of the biggest names in the company at some of the companies’ big events. After making her debut in 2018, Mina continued wrestling for these companies until her contract with each ended.

After getting huge experience in various companies, Mina Shirakawa finally made her debut in STARDOM in October 2020. On November 14, 2020, Tam Nakano brought Mina Shirakawa from Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling.
Mina teamed with Nakano to defeat Iwatani and Starlight Kid and persuaded Iwatani to allow Shirakawa to join the stable, which started as a sub-group of the STARDOM faction “Stars.” From here, Mina quickly made a statement as a wrestler.
Not long after joining Cosmic Angels, Mina got her first taste of STARDOM gold as she, Tam Nakano, and Unagi Sayaka defeated Oedo Tai (Bea Priestly, Natsuko Tora, and Saki Kashima) for the Artist of Stardom Championships.
Mina achieved huge success as part of Cosmic Angels, whether it was beating Sayaka for the Future of STARDOM title or participating in several important and prestigious tournaments.
At Dream Queendom 2, Shirakawa surprised fans by making her way to the ring with British wrestlers Mariah May and Xia Brookside.
After teaming with Cosmic Angel stablemate Sakaya to defeat Donna Del Mondo (Mai Sakurai and Thekla) Shirakawa slapped Sayaka before announcing the formation of Club Venus, a trio with Brookside and May.
Yet, it wasn’t until four months later, on the final night of the 2023 Cinderella Tournament, that Shirakawa announced that Club Venus would part ways with Cosmic Angels.
After this moment, Shirakawa continued to shine, whether it was winning the Wonder of STARDOM title or teaming with Mariah May to win the Goddess of Stardom Championship.
While the faction gained Xena, sadly, Xia and Mariah eventually left to sign contracts with new companies. At New Year Stars in Sendai on January 27, 2024, Mina, Maika, Hanako, and Waka Tsukiyama defeated Lady C, Utami Hayashishita, Saya Kamitani, and AZM in a tag team match.
After the win, they announced that the name of their new unit would be Empress Nexus Venus. Shirakawa continued to be one of the top stars, winning the Artist of Stardom Championship and having huge-scale matches with the biggest stars, whether for titles or not.

Along with STARDOM, the last few years have seen Mina travel and wrestle for different companies.
In 2022, Mina made her debut for NJPW after teaming with Waka Tsukiyama. Although the team picked up a loss against Kylie Rae and Tiara James, it wasn’t the last time fans would see Mina.
In February 2024, she had a match at the New Beginning In Sapporo where she challenged Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship. While she failed to win the title, she gained a lot of new fans who may not have seen Mina before.

In 2024, Mina also made her debut for All Elite Wrestling in April. In STARDOM, Shirakawa teamed with Mariah May, which meant that her AEW debut was perfect after she saved May after being attacked by Anna Jay. This then started a long-term storyline with Shirakawa and May, especially after the addition of Toni Storm.
Mina and Toni seemed to be feuding over May, competing to see who she was closer with. Shirakawa accepted a match against Storm on June 5 on Dynamite, with May listed as the corner woman to both participants.
Yet, following May defeating Toni Storm, May turned on her long-term friend at their celebration, but Shirakawa saw it coming before spearing her off the stage. This led to a new feud, culminating in Mina losing a title match to May at Dynamite: Winter is Coming.

In the summer of 2024, Shirakawa also crossed to the UK and cemented her dominance, beating Dani Luna for the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship at the anniversary show.
She made several appearances in the UK with the title, including at Rev Pro shows and NJPW’s Royal Quest 4 in a multi-man tag match.

At the end of 2024, NJPW Strong Champion Mercedes Moné successfully defended her title at NJPW’s Strong Style Evolved show against Hazuki.
Following the end of the match, Moné declared that she wanted to head to Wrestle Dynasty and issued an open challenge.
Mina answered the call and came to the ring, with Moné accepting the challenge, as long as the RevPro Undisputed Women’s Championship was also put on the line as well.
Shirakawa’s long-time love of wrestling went full circle when she competed at the NJPW Wrestle Dynasty show at the Tokyo Dome.
On social media, she posted photos of herself watching Wrestle Kingdom 9 as a fan but also being at the side of Kairi Sane, showcasing how wrestling at the prestigious venue had always been a dream.
On January 5, she faced Mercedes Mone for the NJPW Strong Women’s title and Rev Pro Undisputed British Women’s title that she held.
While coming out with a loss, Shirakawa captured the hearts of many fans in a fast, dynamic, and exciting match.

Following her amazing match at the Tokyo Dome, Mina continued wrestling. Not only was she part of an elimination show for NJPW’s US Battle in the Valley show, but she then returned to STARDOM.
Sadly, on February 2, Shirakawa picked up an injury during a show at Korakuen Hall. While there is no time frame for her recovery, fans are eagerly anticipating her return.
