The road to Slammiversary has been a bumpy one. The twists and turns have come from both in-ring action and real-world scandal. With two episodes left before one of the biggest events on the IMPACT Wrestling calendar, we still don’t know what the main event will look like. But anything can happen in the world of pro wrestling, and it usually does. Given all the talent WWE released back in April, and all the teasing on IMPACT!, we’re still in for some big surprises next Saturday at Slammiversary. Here’s what you can expect tomorrow night on the special 9:00 edition of IMPACT! Wrestling. Here is the latest edition of Brace for IMPACT for 7/7/20.

    4-Way Tag Team Chaos

With so many teams fighting for the right to challenge The North for the tag team championships, this 4-way, the 8-man match was inevitable. The chase continues tonight as TJP and Fallah Baah meet Reno Scum, XXXL, and The Deaners in a matchup that is sure to have championship implications. Whoever wins this match could find themselves first in line to face The North after Slammiversary.

    The Knockouts Champion In  Action

    Photo / IMPACT Wrestling

As Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace should have little to prove. Tomorrow night, however, is a different story, as Grace faces dangerous newcomer Kimber Lee. The Knockouts Champion wants to send a message to challenger Deonna Purrazzo. That message is that Jordynne Grace is not afraid. Will she get the chance, or will Kimber Lee score an upset victory on the road to Slammiversary?

The Most Iconic Knockout In History

    Photo / IMPACT Wrestling

This week’s edition of Locker Room Talk with Madison Rayne and Johnny Swinger will feature “the most iconic knockout in history.” There’s been a fair amount of debate as to who they’re referring to. What isn’t up for debate, however, is that Rayne and Swinger will give us an exciting, entertaining interview with whoever this mystery knockout will be.

    Knockouts Tag Team Action

The last few weeks have shown us that it pays to have friends in the knockouts division. While Tasha Steelz and Keira Hogan have been clashing with Havok and Neveah, Kylie Rae and Susie have made their friendship known. This week, they’re battling it out with the unlikely alliance of Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary en route to the #1 Contender’s Gauntlet match at Slammiversary. Can Taya and Rosemary get along enough to pull out a win? Or will the budding relationship between Rosemary and John E. Bravo get in the way?

    Sami Callihan vs. Josh Alexander

Sami Callihan shocked the pro wrestling world when he came to help arch-rival Ken Shamrock fight off an attack by Josh Alexander and Ethan Page. But the question on everyone’s mind is why? At Slammiversary, Tag Team Champions The North will put their titles on the line against the odd-couple pairing of Shamrock and Callihan. But before we get there, the Worldwide Desperado will go one-on-one with the Walking Weapon.
