As a wrestling enthusiast for over 30 years, my fondness for professional wrestling explores the irrational in a rational way. I will explore the details inside and outside the ring and hopefully have a laugh with you in the process. I've had the fortune to interview wrestlers from Lucha Underground, TNA, Ring of Honor, GFW, and former WWE talent as well. Feel free to follow me on Twitter @TheMarcMadison

Escobar continued on by stating that he is a champion, much like his father was and how his son will be. ____________________ It was at this point when he posed an open challenge for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship right then…

In night two’s NXT Championship match, Karrion Kross regains the NXT Championship from Finn Balor. Their battle was incredible. It was a case of the current champion against the man that never lost the title in the first place. Much like the NXT Cruiserweight title match earlier, all doubt would be removed from this match. This hard-hitting affair earlier on was a story of Balor having the advantage. The narrative early on was Balor would work on the abdominals and shoulder of Kross. He would work on it relentlessly, with the focus being to beat down the former champion. What…
On night two of NXT TakeOver Stand & Deliver, Santos Escobar became the Undisputed NXT Cruiserweight Champion. In the show’s opening match, Jordan Devlin and Santos Escobar battled one another in a ladder match to unify the NXT Cruiserweight Championship. The narrative going into the match was unlike one typically told in wrestling. This was an instance where the champion was in pursuit of the challenger.
