On June 9th, New Japan Pro Wrestling held their annual event NJPW Dominion with Tetsuya Naito contesting for the IWGP Intercontinental Championship. It is arguably their second biggest show of the year. Over the last few weeks, a series of mysterious vignettes starting appearing on New Japan shows. After Juice Robinson’s matches, vignettes would appear declaring that “Time’s Up”. It is NJPW Best of the Super Juniors time! The annual tournament to determine the best junior heavyweight in the world is an annual mid-May tradition for New Japan Pro Wrestling. The 2019 tournament is one of the biggest in history with twenty wrestlers competing for the Best of the Super Juniors title. That is the most in New Japan History.
