It is time again for AEW Holiday Bash as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/18/24! This special episode of Dynamite is back yet again for the fifth straight year.

We have two huge matches in the Continental Classic. We will also see a big TBS Championship match as well. Let us learn more about this loaded card in Washington D.C. in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    We’ll Hear From MJF

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF made a rare in-person appearance. He attempted to cost Adam Cole in his match against Kyle O’ Reilly. He failed as Cole picked up the victory. As a result of the win, Adam Cole will now finally get his hands on MJF at Worlds End.

At Holiday Bash, we will hear from MJF. Will he be in person yet again at Holiday Bash? Knowing all the history between MJF and Cole, I am sure Maxwell Jacob Friedman has a lot to say about recent events.

Shelton Benjamin vs. The Beast Mortos
    (Continental Classic Blue League)

It is now desperation time in the Continental Classic Blue League. Shelton Benjamin has three points in just two matches. The rest of the Blue League is starting to pull away from Benjamin. If he loses on Wednesday night, it might just be the end.

Benjamin will be facing The Beast Mortos. Mortos has already been eliminated from advancing to the Blue League finals after three losses. But The Beat Mortos with simply nothing to lose on Wednesday night? That might be the scariest proposition of all.

    Mercedes Moné
    (c) vs. Anna Jay
    (AEW TBS Championship
    )

Two weeks ago on AEW Dynamite, Anna Jay called out TBS Champion Mercedes Moné. As Moné said that Jay hadn’t accomplished anything in AEW, Anna proceeded to slap Mercedes across the face. This seemed enough to get Anna Jay an AEW TBS Championship match at Holiday Bash.

Anna Jay has had an impressive 2024. She competed in Stardom’s 5Star Grand Prix in Japan, where she won multiple matches. She returned to AEW and defeated Mariah May in a non-title match.

But despite all her title matches, the 26-year-old Jay has never won a title in professional wrestling. Can that change on Wednesday night? Moné had better be ready for a hungry Anna Jay.

    AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/18/24
    Will Ospreay vs. Darby Allin
    (Continental Classic Gold League)

It is a huge match between two of the most popular wrestlers in all of AEW. The high-flying Will Ospreay will be facing the always dangerous Darby Allin.  Who will win the valuable three points at Holiday Bash?

Will Ospreay has six points after winning his first two matches, and Darby Allin has three points after his first two matches. Ospreay is currently in a three-way tie for first place in the Gold League. He cannot afford to fall behind the leaders if he wants to make the finals.

But Darby Allin would be in a lot of trouble to make the finals if he doesn’t pick up the valuable three points on Wednesday night. And Allin has proven he will do whatever it takes to win. It should be a special match in Washington D.C.

    What To Expect:

    • What happened to FTR after the events of AEW Collision?
    • Who will stop the Death Riders?
    • Will we learn any other matches for AEW Worlds End?
