Over the last few hours, Ring of Honor has announced more talent for their Lakeland, Florida shows on Saturday, April 4, 2020. Already announced were “Switchblade” Jay White and former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, Will Ospreay. Many wondered if these talents could mean that more NJPW talent would appear on RoH shows. And it certainly seems so. As RoH tweeted these tweets –
KENTA is returning to an ROH ring for the first time in more than a decade!
The Japanese star, regarded as one of the best pro wrestlers in the world, has been signed to compete at Supercard of Honor on Saturday, April 4 in Lakeland, Fla.

Following Bullet Club leader Jay White to Lakeland will be El Phantasmo, Taiji Ishimori, and KENTA. With Ospreay aligned with CHAOS in NJPW, could we possibly see Kazuchika Okada in Florida over Mania weekend? And who else from NJPW could join the Supercard Of Honor?
Announced so far –
Jay White
Will Ospreay
Jay Lethal
Jeff Cobb
Slex
Rush
El Phantasmo
Dragon Lee
Marty Scurll
That already looks like the basis of a great card. And with the added addition of new head booker and owner of the largest contract in RoH history, Marty Scurll, we could see a great event.
Blake’s Take: Now I know a lot of people will be wary of a RoH card with NJPW talent. Many will look back at last year’s MSG Roh/NJPW show and ask what the heck happened. Someone told me that the NJPW stuff on that card was awesome. The RoH stuff was either boring or made him wish for the sun to hurry up and explode sooner. Harsh words…but true. The difference is now Ring Of Honor has Marty Scurll as head booker. He won’t allow the faults from last year’s show flow into this card. That is for sure! I also fully expect to see more NJPW talent added over the coming days. And you can take that to the bank!
