On Sunday, November 23rd, 1989, the WWF presented Survivor Series 1989 from the Rosemount Horizon in Rosemount, Illinois. The featured match would pit the Hulkamanics against The Million Dollar Team.
There were five, four, or four traditional-style Survivor Series team matches. With Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura on commentary, the first team battle of the night would be underway.
The event begins with Hulk Hogan delievering a promo on being thankful. He then shared that he is thankful for his team of Hulkamaniacs, followed by a number of other competitors on the show as well.
Vince McMahon shares how the Ultimate Warrior will captain a team of himself, Jim Neidhart and The Rockers against Andre the Giant and the Heenan Family.
We then hear about Roddy’s Rowdy’s against Rude’s Brood. Then we have the 4×4’s and The King’s Court. Then the Dream Team against The Enforcers followed by The Hulkamaniac’s versus the Million Dollar Team.
We then begin with the first team versus team battle to start the event.
Survivor Series 1989
The Dream Team (‘America Dream’ Dusty Rhodes, Brutus ‘The Barber’ Beefcake, Tito Santana and The Red Rooster) vs. The Enforcers (Big Boss Man, Bad News Brown, Rick ‘The Model’ Martel and The Honky Tonk Man with Jimmy ‘The Mouth of the South’ Hart and ‘The Doctor of Style’ Slick)
Gorilla Monsoon shares that there is a referee inside and outside of the ring. But it is the referee inside that will call the action.
The referee outside with direct those eliminated to head to the back. The match begins with the Honky Tonk Man against Tito Santana.
This pits two former Intercontinental Champions. Santana gets the early advantage with right hands and a scoop slam.
Santana has an arm bar but is backed into the ropes but leads to Honky Tonk to tag in Rick Martel. Martel gets the advantage on Santana.
Tito hits an atomic drop on Martel and we then get a stalemate as the entire Dream Team ends up in the ring. Martel his his advantage reversed.
The Bossman is tagged in and then Dusty Rhodes is tagged in. Both the American Dream and the Big Bossman exchange rights and lefts. Rhodes hits an elbow and then makes a tag to Brutus Beefcake.
Bossman gains an advantage on Beefcake. The Honky Tonk Man is then tagged in and he tries to maintain the advantage but its momentarily.
But Beefcake doesn’t see Martel tagged in. Eventually, the Red Rooster comes in and makes a pinfall attempt. Honky Tonk is then tagged back in and maintains the advantage on the Red Rooster. The Big Bossman is then tagged in and he maintains rights on the Red Rooster.
The Bossman rips at the face of the Red Rooster preventing him from getting air or to his corner. Rick Martel comes back in and he attempts to make a pinfall attempt. The Red Rooster tries to make his way to his corner but the Honky Tonk Man cuts the ring in half and stops the Rooster.
Jesse Ventura points out that Bad News Brown is the only member of their team not to enter match up yet. But we now see both Honky Tonk and the Red Rooster trying to get to their corners. Martel and Santana both make their way back into the match. Santana attempts the figure four leg lock but Martel avoids it.
As Santana attempts to roll up Martel, the Model reverses it and pulls his tights getting leverage and the pinfall.
Tito Santana has been eliminated.
The Enforcers now have a 4 on 3 advantage. The American Dream makes his way into the match and squares off against Rick Martel.
Rhodes hits a pair of elbows on Martel followed by a drop kick. Brutus Beefcake is tagged into the ring who continues to work on the arm and shoulder of the Model. We then get the Red Rooster tagged in and he gets a side headlock reversed into a back breaker.
The Big Bossman makes his way into the match and he catches the Rooster with a bear hug. The Red Rooster attempts to fight back and out of it.
As the referee attempts to drop the Rooster’s arm for a third time he fights back. The Bossman tags in Bad News Brown and the Red Rooster beats on him.
This was until Bad News Brown regains control and drops elbows, punches and even chokes on the Red Rooster. Brown continues to work over the Red Rooster and gets hit with a reverse knife edge chop.
The Bossman comes in and accidently hits Bad News Brown. Brown pushes the Bossman and we see friction in the Enforcers team.
Brown is so upset he walks out on his team.
Bad News Brown has been eliminated
The teams are back to even at 3 men a piece. Beefcake and the Bossman are in the ring with one another. Honky Tonk Man is tagged in and he maintains the advantage on Beefcake.
Now backed into the corner, the Honky Tonk Man attempts to drive fist after fist on Beefcake. But Beefcake recovers, hits a high knee on Honky Tonk Man and then pins him for an elimination.
Honky Tonk Man has been eliminated.
The Dream Team now have a 3-2 advantage. Beefcake and Martel square off. The Model is relentless in his attack of The Barber. He has a rear chinlock on the Barber.
But Beefcake gets back to his feet only to be taken back down off his feet. Martel maintains a rear chinlock on the Barber but the fans are beginning to get behind him. The Model hits a knee to the midsection of the Barber taking him back to the mat.
Martel maintains control on the Barber and is on the ring apron. Beefcake then hits a sunset flip into the ring but The Model blocks it.
As he tries to hold the ropes to prevent himself from being pinned the referee warns him. But Martel lets go of the rope. This results in Beefcake finishing the sunset flip on Martel for the pin and the elimination.
Rick ‘The Model’ Martel has been eliminated.
The Dream Team now have a 3-on-1 advantage over The Enforcers as The Big Bossman remains the only member of his team. The Bossman is swinging for everyone and anyone on the Dream Team.
Beefcake tags in the Red Rooster. After striking the Bossman, the Red Rooster hits the ropes and gets hit with the Bossman’s sidewalk slam for the pinfall and the elimination.
The Red Rooster has been eliminated.
The Dream Team now have a 2-on-1 advantage. Rhodes comes into the ring and he begins to maintain the advantage on the Bossman. The Dream tags in Beefcake.
Beefcake then tags in the Dream. Rhodes is whipped into the ropes and avoids a clothesline by the Bossman. He then hits a crossbody off the ropes and makes the pinfall for the three count, the elimination and the win.
The Big Bossman has been eliminated.
Winners: The Dream Team
Immediately after the bell rings, Slick tosses in a night stick to the Bossman who decks both the Beefcake and Rhodes.
The American Dream is then handcuffed to the top rope as the Bossman continues to beat on him in the process. Beefcake then comes back in the ring with his hedge clippers scarring off the Bossman in the process.
In the backstage area, Hacksaw Jim Duggan and his 4×4’s team of Hercules, Rugged Ronnie Garvin and Bret Hart stood with 2×4’s in hand chanting GO with Mean Gene Okerlund preparing to interview them.
Each of the members shared what they planned to do to Macho King Randy Savage and his King’s Court on the show.
Back in the ring, The Fink begins to announce the next match-up.

The King’s Court (Macho King Randy Savage, Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine, Dino Bravo, & The Canadian Earthquake) with Sensational Queen Sherri and Jimmy ‘The Mouth of the South’ Hart vs The 4×4’s (Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Rugged Ronnie Garvin, Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart and Hercules)
As the faces arrive in the ring they clear the ring of the Macho King and his group. Savage escapes to the floor and Duggan tosses him back into the ring.
Hercules is there to receive the Macho King and flexes his power. Savage tags in his partner Greg Valentine. Valentine and Hercules begin their battle.
Hercules then makes the tag to Bret Hart. Hart works over the arm and shoulder of Valentine. Then Duggan is tagged in and he continues to work over his shoulder.
Then Ronnie Garvin comes in and lays in chops snug and stiff. Garvin locks in a sleeper but he makes it to his corner and tags in Dino Bravo. Bravo then his a reverse atomic drop.
But when he attempts an elbow he misses and Garvin tags in Hercule. Hercules hits a series of clothes taking Bravo down. But Earthquake is tagged in and hits his Earthquake splash leading to a pinfal and an elimination.
Hercules is eliminated.
The King’s Court have a 4-on-3 advantage after the elimination. Duggan makes his way back in the ring and the Canadian Earthquake lock up.
We then see Duggan and Earthquake attempt a couple of shoulder tackles. But on the third attempt, Hart hid low behind Earthquake so that when Duggan hit him with a shoulder tackle he tripped and fell backward to the mat.
Duggan then makes a tag to Garvin who continues to work over Earthquake who is down on the mat. Dino Bravo is then tagged into the ring and he works over Garvin on his side of the ring.
Valentine is then tagged in and he works over Ronnie Garvin. The Hammer is working over Garvin. Garvin is stopped before he can make a tag. Savage is then tagged in and he works over Garvin.
We then see Dino Bravo work over Garvin. Frequent tags on the King’s Court side. But Garvin and Valentine hit each other with stiff shots. Duggan is then tagged in and hit wipes out Valentine with a clothesline, a pinfall and an elimination.
Greg ‘The Hammer’ Valentine is eliminated.
It is now back to a 3-on-3 match up between the two teams. Dino Bravo comes in and he jumps Duggan from behind. Bravo attempts to choke Duggan but Savage is tagged into the match.
Savage attempts to drap Duggan’s throat across the top rope. The Canadian Earthquake is then tagged in. He misses a big elbow drop and makes the tag to Ronnie Garvin.
Bravo is tagged in and is hit with a headbutt by Garvin. The Garvin stop around Bravo. Garvin then makes the tag to the Hitman.
Hart and Savage begin a battle with one another. The Hitman then stomps Savage in the lower abdomen. Savage then tags in Bravo. Bravo is worked over by the 4×4’s in the corner.
Garvin is then tagged in but is caught with a side suplex off the ropes. This is followed up by a pinfall and an elimination.
Rugged Ronnie Garvin is eliminated.
The King’s Court now have a 3-on-2 advantage in the match. Hacksaw Jim Duggan is back in the ring and Bravo tags the Canadian Earthquake. Earthquake and Duggan battle in the corner. Duggan attempts to work over the Canadian Earthquake with Bret Hart tagged in.
Once again Savage and Hart square off against one another. But Savage gets caught by Duggan. Savage then gets tied up in the rope. But with the referee distracted Duggan works over the Macho King.
Savage breaks free and attempts to get the advantage on Bret Hart. Hart then hits a side backbreaker on Savage. Hart misses an elbow drop leading to Savage to tag in Dino Bravo.
Bravo hits an elbow drop on Hart followed by a bear hug. Hart is being worked over in the middle of the ring. Hart breaks free leading to the Canadian Earthquake to work him over in the ring.
The referee is telling him to break the hold. Hart kicks out from an elbow drop. Bravo is then tagged in and works over Hart. Hart then sweeps Bravo’s legs. It leads to a three-on-one on the Hart. Savage is tagged in but he misses Hart and takes out Bravo with a high knee.
Duggan is then tagged in. He slams Savage but mises an elbow. Dino Bravo is tagged back in and works over Bret Hart.
Bravo then hits a shoulder breaker on Bret Hart. Savage is tagged in and he hits his patented top rope elbow drop on Bret Hart. The result is a pinfall and an elimination.
Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart is eliminated.
The King’s Court now have a 3-on-1 advantage with only Hacksaw Jim Duggan remaining for his team. Duggan is back in the ring as the entire team of the King’s Court converge.
This leads to the Canadian Earthquake and Duggan square off. Earthquake works over Duggan in the corner takes out each member of the King’s Court.
He cleared the ring in the process! Savage gets into the ring and he and Duggan lock up. But Bravo is tagged in and he wipes out both Savage and Bravo.
But the Earthquake decks Duggan from behind. Duggan kicks out of a pinfall attempt after an elbow drop. Dino Bravo is tagged in and works over Duggan. Savage is then tagged in and hits an ax handle off on Duggan from the top rope.
Duggan then works over the Macho King. But Sherri pulls down the top rope down and Duggan falls over the top rope. He then gets counted out and eliminated.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan is eliminated.
Winners: The King’s Court
After the match, Duggan comes in and uses his 2×4 on the winners in the match.
Gene Okerlund is backstage and gives a brief update on the status of the American Dream Dusty Rhodes after the attack at the hands of the Big Bossman. We then hear a special Thanksgiving poem from The Genius. It is met with a. chorus of boos.

The Million Dollar Team (‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase, Powers of Pain and Zeus) with Mr. Fuji vs. The Hulkamaniacs (Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, Demolition and Hulk Hogan)
The Million Dollar Team won’t even allow the Hulkamaniacs in the ring. It wasn’t until Jake Roberts let Damien out of the bag that forced DiBiase’s team to scamper out of the ring.
Once everyone clears the ring the match begins with Zeus and Jake Roberts. But Zeus insists on wanting Hogan and not Roberts. To which Hogan is tagged in and the two finally lock up.
Hogan attempts a pair of shoulder blocks but won’t go down. Hulk continues to hits right hands to the head of Zeus and it has no effect. He then rakes the eyes of Zeus and then scoops him up and slams him.
Zeus rings the head of Hogan. He then proceeds to choke Hogan and won’t release it. Each time the referee tries to pull him off Zeus tosses him. The second time led to him being disqualified and eliminated.
Zeus is eliminated.
The Hulkamaniacs have a 4-on-3 advantage. This leads to the rest of the Million Dollar Team to try and pull Zeus off of Hogan and have him leave the ring. Eventually, DiBiase promises Zeus money for him to leave.
Back in the ring, DiBiase works over the battered and beaten Hogan. DiBiase chokes Hogan across the top rope and then slingshots him off the rope.
Hogan is then worked over in the corner at the hands of DiBiase. Eventually, Roberts takes the fight to DiBiase and then clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor.
DiBiase and Roberts battle on the floor. Roberts then brings DiBiase back in the ring and Ax is tagged into the match. Smash is then tagged in and he works over DiBiase.
DiBiase is whipped into the boot of. Ax but is then tagging in Hogan. Then Hogan and Demolition lay in repeatedly sledge hammers on the back of DiBiase.\
Ax hits a clothesline on DiBiase but is caught with a back elbow. Barbarian and Warlord work over Ax. Barbarian then is hit with a shoulder breaker on Ax.
When the Barbarian attemps an elbow drop from the middle rope on Ax, he moves. The Barbarian is able to tag in Warlord who then proceeds to cut off the ring and stop Ax from making a tag.
Warlord is then caught with a pair of clotheslines. As Ax attempts to come off the ropes against the Warlord, Mr. Fuji trips him up causing him to land face first on the mat. This leads to the Warlord finishing him off for a pinfall and an elimination.
Ax is eliminated.
The teams are even once again at 3 a piece. This leads to Smash coming in and going right after the Warlord. Smash then tags in Hogan who lays boots and fists in on the Warlord.
Hogan hits a clothesline on the Warlord and then hits a scoop slam. Roberts is then tagged in and he throws fists on Warlord and makes another tag to Smash.
Smash eventually tries to get the advantage but the Warlord stops him with a thumb to the eyes. The Barbarian is then tagged in and gets caught by Smash.
Smash is then gets hit with a big boot. DiBiase is tagged in and hits a knife edge chop on Smash. We then see a rear chinlock on Smash by DiBiase.
Smash fights back and gets back to his feet. DiBiase stops him and then tries a back elbow and misses off the middle rope.
As Smash picks up DiBiase and drapes him across the top rope, The Barbarian is tagged in. When Smash attempts a tag the referee stops it because the Barbarian is the legal man and poised on the top rope.
When Smash turns around, the Barbarian hits a clothesline off the top rope. He then goes for the pinfall and the elimination.
Smash is eliminated.
The Million Dollar Team have a 3-on-2 advantage. Roberts came in and he teases a DDT on the Barbarian but misses and elbow.
He then teases it again but The Barbarian stops him and brings him back to his own corner. Roberts is whipped into the corner turnbuckle time and again.
Hogan is begging for Roberts to make the tag. Barbarian then hits a side back breaker on Roberts. Warlord is then tagged in and he continues to whip Roberts into the corner turnbuckle. Barbarian drops a forearm on the prone Roberts. DiBiase continues to work Roberts.
The Million Dollar Man then hits a piledriver and goes for a pin only for a count of two. Barbarian is tagged in and hits a head butt off the ropes.
Roberts tries to make a tag again but then stops him in the process. The Barbarian goes to the top rope and attempts a top rope head butt but misses!
Roberts makes the tag to Hogan. Hogan comes in and hits everyone and thing in sight. Hogan hit his patented clothesline and then a pair of elbows on the Barbarian.
Warlord caught Hogan and both menbers of the Powers of Pain get taken out with a double clothesline. We. Then see a spike piledriver by the Powers of Pain on Hogan and the referee sees it and disqualifies both members of the team!
Powers of Pain (Barbarian and Warlord) are eliminated.
The Hulkamaniacs have a 2-on-1 advantage. Hogan’s team went from being down a member to being up a member.
A battered Hogan clutches his throat in the ring as Roberts attempts to get in. But even Roberts is recovering as DiBiase goes after him.
DiBiase then drops knees to the back of Hogan and then puts his Million Dollar Dream on the champion.
With Hogan down the referee is checking on him and see’s his arm dropping twice and Roberts comes in and breaks up the hold. It frees up Hogan.
Hogan is then placed in the hold again and breaks free. He then begins to crawl back to his corner to try and make the tag to Roberts.
A fresh Jake Roberts is taking the fight to DiBiase from one side of the ring to the other. Fans are signalling for the DDT.
Roberts hits a short arm clothesline. He then gives the signal for the DDT but Virgil ends up on the apron. Â Virgil is pulled into the ring and hit with the DDT.
But as Roberts comes down he doesn’t expect DiBiase to drop a fist on him at that same moment. He then goes for the pinfall and while using the ropes for leverage gets the elimination.
Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts is eliminated.
The two teams are now left to battle each other one-on-one. Hogan is laying prone in the corner and Roberts tries to check on him before he is asked to leave.
DiBiase is working over back of the head and neck on Hogan. DiBiase hits a clothesline on Hogan coming off the ropes.
He then locks in a reverse chinlock. DiBiase is trying to wear down the champion in the process. But Hogan gets back to his feet and Hulk’s up.
Hogan and DiBiase both knock each other down with a double clothesline. DiBiase gets to his feet and hits a belly to back suplex.
But Hogan springs right back up and then hits his patented Big Boot followed by the leg drop. He then makes the cover for the elimination and the win.
Ted DiBiase is eliminated.
Winners: The Hulkamaniacs.
After the match, Hogan poses with his championship and stands firm prepared to prevent DiBiase from coming back in the ring. DiBiase and Virgil then bugrudingly head back up the aisle.
Sean Mooney is in the back and gets the thoughts from Macho King Randy Savage with Sensational Queen Sherri and Zeus by his side. Savage lays down what is in store for Hulk Hogan in his upcoming cage match against Zeus.
Then see Mean Gene speaking with Brutus Beefcake and Hulk Hogan in the backstage area and what they have in store for Zeus and the Macho King.
Sherri then comes in and throws flour in the eyes of Hogan and Beefcake with Savage and Zeus attacking them in the process. Other wrestlers come in trying to pry Savage and Zeus off the unsuspecting Beefcake and Hogan.
We then get a rundown of the next two matches, including The Ultimate Warrior’s against the Heenan Family and Roddy’s Rowdies against Rude’s Brood, still ahead.
Sean Mooney then speaks with Rude’s Brood speaking with Ravishing Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect and the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers.
Then Okerlund tries to speak to Roddy’s Rowdies including Superfly Jimmy Snuka, The Bushwhackers and Rowdy Roddy Piper.

The Rude Brood (Mr. Perfect, Fabulous Rougeau Brothers and Ravishing Rick Rude) with The Genius and Jimmy ‘The Mouth of the South’ Hart vs. Roddy’s Rowdies (‘Superfly’ Jimmy Snuka, The Bushwhackers and ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper)
Roddy’s Rowdies stand tall as Rude’s team clear the ring. The match begins with Luke and Mr. Perfect. Perfect tries to get the early advantage but only momentarily.
Piper is tagged in and he bites and then Butch comes in and he bites Perfect. Jacques is tagged in and he faces off against Superfly Snuka.
After a pair of punhes, Jacuqes gets the advantage. But Snuka recovers and then hits a reverse knife edge chop. Snuka then hits a back breaker on Jacques.
Snuka then steps back and lunges and hits a diving headbutt. He then climbs the turnbuckle and hits the Superfly splash on Jacques Rougeau making the pinfall and getting the elimination.
Jacques Rougeau is eliminated.
Roddy’s Rowdies have the 4-on-3 advantage. Rude then comes in and immediately tries to get the jump on Snuka. Rude tries to pose but get caught with a headbutt. Mr. Perfect is then tagged in and as he gets whipped to the ropes,
Rude is trying to get up and pulls the rope down to help himself up. But this leads to Perfect falling over the top rope. The two heels get into each other’s face. This leads Snuka to ram their heads together.
Perfect is back in the ring and Piper is tagged in. Piper then hits a knee lift on Mr. Perfect. This was followed up by a pair of fists.
Luke is then tagged in and he goes after Perfect. Butch is then tagged in and then Snuka is tagged in. Frequent tags by Roddy’s team.
Butch then whips Perfect and gets kicked in the face but that leads to a tag in to Roddy Piper.
An errant atomic drop by Piper leads Mr. Perfect to tag out to Raymond Rougeau. Ray and Piper are exchanging fists.
A pinfall attempt by Raymond Rougeau leads to a piledriver by Roddy Piper. This leads Piper to make a pinfall and get the eiimination.
Raymond Rougeau is eliminated.
Roddy’s Rowdies now have a 4-on-2 advantage. This leads Mr. Perfect to get into the ring as he and Piper square off. Perfect hits a snap mare and then rings Piper’s bell.
Roddy is trying to push towards his corner. Piper then slingshots Perfect into the corner. Butch is then tagged into the match.
Butch attempts a pair of pinfall attempts. We then get Luke taged into the match. As Perfect reverses a whip into the corner with a. boot, Luke tags out to Piper who comes in fists a flying on Mr. Perfect.
Piper throws a fist that turns Mr. Perfect inside out. Butch is then tagged in and proceeds to bite Perfect. But he then panders to the crowd and in the process gets rolled up behind by Perfect. Mr. Perfect then pins him and makes the elimination.
Bushwhacker Butch is eliminated.
Roddy’s Rowdies now have a 3-on-2 advantage. This leads Piper to come back into the ring. He attempted a roll up but Perfect kicks out at two.
Snuka is then tagged in who then tags in Luke. Luke then throws headbutts on Luke and then tags in to Rick Rude.
Luke is then biting Rude who then recovers and hits his Rude awakening finisher. Rude then makes the pinfall and the elimination.
Bushwhacker Luke is eliminated.
The teams are now even at two a piece. Mr. Perfect and Jimmy Snuka are now in the ring. Perfect has the advantage over the Superfly.
He’s whipped into the corner where Rick Rude catches him with a boot. Rude comes in and he maintains the advantage over Snuka.
Rude whips Snuka into the boot of Mr. Perfect who is then tagged into the ring. Snuka tries to get to his corner but Mr. Perfect knocks Roddy off the aprong.
In the opposite corner, Rude works over Jimmy Snuka. Snuka kicks out and gets Perfect off of him. Perfect puts his head down and Snuka kicks him knocking him down. Rick Rude is then tagged in and works over the Superfly.
Rude continues to work over Snuka and cut the ring in half having him back in his corner. Mr. Perfect is then tagged in and is nearly pinned with a small package by The Superfly.
Snuka continues to fight back and hits a headbutt on Mr. Perfect. Perfect is knocked down. But Snuka is worked over and forced into Rude and Perfect’s corner.
Snuka whips Perfect to the ring and they hit heads. Snuka makes the tag as well. Now Piper and Rude are in the ring with one another.
Piper takes Rude to the floor and both are battling on the floor as the referee continues to count. They are both counted out and eliminated.
Roddy Piper and Rick Rude are counted out and eliminated.
Mr. Perfect and Jimmy Snuka are the lone two men in the ring now. Piper and Rude continue to fight all the way back to the locker room. Mr. Perfect tries to drive Snuka’s head into the turnbuckle but to no avail.
We then get a dropkick by Mr. Perfect on Jimmy Snuka forcing him to the floor. Perfect then suplex’s Snuka back into the ring.
After a pinfall attempt Snuka gets back to his feet and both continue to battle. As the two continue to battle with pinfall attempts back and forth both men make it back to their feet.
Snuka then whips Perfect to the corner turnbuckle and then attempts a high cross body. Perfect tries to hook the tights and get the pinfall but Snuka kicks out.
Then Snuka whips Perfect into the ropes and ducks. When he puts his head down Mr. Perfect hooks Snuka’s head and leg and hits him with the Perfect plex. He get’s the pinfall, elimination and the win.
Jimmy ‘The Superfly’ Snuka is eliminated.

Immediately, after the match The Genius tries to celebrate with Mr. Perfect but Snuka comes back and rams their heads together.
Snuka slams The Genius and then climbs to the top. He attempts a splash but Mr. Perfect pulls The Genius out of the ring.
After the match, Sean Mooney interviews the winners as Rick Rude, The Rougeau’s and Jimmy Hart are in the backstage area. Mr. Perfect and The Genius then arrive as Rick Rude shares his pleasure in his team’s victory.
Mean Gene Okerlund is then shown backstage speaking to The Ultimate Warrior’s. Jim Niedhart, The Rockers and The Ultimate Warrior are all set to share their thoughts about their upcoming match.
Survivor Series 1989
The Heenan Family (Andre the Giant, Haku, Arn Anderson and Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan) vs. The Ultimate Warriors (Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart, The Rockers – Marty Janetty and Shawn Michaels, and The Ultimate Warrior)
The Heenan family is already in the ring and Gorilla Monsoon points out that Bobby Heenan is dressed to compete. Tully Blanchard is no longer a part a scheduled part of this match.
We then hear the music of Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart as he is the first to come ot the ring. He is followed by The Rockers and finally team captain The Ultimate Warrior. As soon as The Rockers hit the ring, The Rockers and Jim Neidhart immediately take the fight to their opponents.
Andre the Giant clears the ring driving the heads of The Rockers together and taking Neidhart out. This thrusts the Ultimate Warrior to charge to the ring and goes right after Andre.
The Ultimate Warrior then knocks Andre over the top rope as soon as the bell rings. The referee begins to count as the remaining members of the Heenan family attempt to bring him back into the ring, but the final count is made. Andre the Giant is immediately counted out of the ring.
Andre the Giant is eliminated.
The Ultimate Warriors have a 4-on-3 advantage. The Warrior gives his team a hug. The Ultimate Warrior whips both Haku and Arn Anderson into the ring.
Jim Neidhart is tagged in and he works over Anderson. Neidhart charges in Anderson who makes a tag to Haku. But Neidhart maintains control.
We see Andre yelling towards the ring. What was he yelling? It wasn’t clear, really. Neidhart decks Anderson but Haku continues to wear him out. Anderson and Haku work over Neidhart. Heenan gets in his shots while the referee is distracted.
As Neidhart decks Anderson he gets kicked in the back of the head by Haku which takes him out. Haku makes the pinfall, gets the three count and the elimination.
Jim ‘The Anvil’ Neidhart is eliminated.
The two teams are back to 3-on-3 with neither team holding an advantage. This bring Shawn Micheals into the ring and Haku stops his attack.
Haku takes down Michaels trips up Haku and takes him down. Janetty is tagged in as is Michaels. There are frequent tags between both Rockers. Janetty whips in Haku and attemps a pinfall attempt.
Anderson is tagged in and he and Janetty battle back and forth. Haku attempts a suplex but Michaels saves him in the process.
The Ultimate Warrior is then tagged in and he battles with Haku.Haku is whipped into the ropes and dropped by The Warrior. Anderson is tagged in and the Warrior eventually tags in Jannety. But Arn Anderson takes Jannetty and tags in Haku.
Janetty is backed into the corner turnbuckle but Haku moves out of the way. Heenan is tagged in and immediately tagged out as soon as Janetty lands a punch.
Once Janetty is whipped into the ropes, Anderson drives a knee into his lower back to which the referee didn’t see. When Janetty turns around Haku lands a superkick that takes him down.
Haku attempts a pinfall but Janetty kicks out. Heenan is then tagged in and he lays boots on the fallen Janetty. Heenan makes the pinfall and gets the elimination.
Marty Janetty is eliminated.
The Heenan Family now have a 3-on-2 advantage. Arn Anderson is then tagged into the match. The Ultimate Warrior then comes in and he battles Arn Anderson.
Anderson is then clutched into a bearhug. But Anderson tags in Haku who then gets caught in a bearhug. Shawn Michaels is then tagged in and tries to get to best of Haku but to no avail.
Michaels is tossed outside and the Warrior protects him in the process. Michaels is then locked up in the corner and he gets the better of Anderson. Anderson is then taken down by fists from Michaels and the Ultimate Warrior.
The Ultimate Warrior then catapults Michaels across the ring onto Anderson. He makes a pinfall attempt but only for a count of two! Anderson fights back and then makes a tag to Haku. Haku then lays in a chop on Michaels. Micheals hits a high crossbody for a pinfal and the elimination.
Haku is eliminated.
The teams are now back to two on two. Anderson tags in Heenan and works over Michaels and the Ultimate Warrior attempts to break it up.
When the Warrior is brought back to his corner, the referee is preoccupied with Anderson. Heenan then climbs the top turnbuckle with Michaels on the floor.
But then climbs back down. Michaels hits a sunset flip on Anderson who is reaching for help from Bobby Heenan. Anderson kicks out but screams at Heenan that he should have helped him.
Heenan says he wasn’t close enough. Heenan is then tagged in and he works over Michaels. Anderson is then tagged in and he and Michaels collide heads.
Anderson works over Michaels but is caught. After Shawn is whipped into the ropes, Anderson catches him with a spinebuster. He makes the pinfall and gets the elimination.
Shawn Michaels is eliminated.
The Heenan Family have a two-on-one advantage. The Ultimate Warrior then gets in the ring. He hits three shoulder tackles and then goes out to the floor.
Anderson works over the Warrior on the floor. Heenan is then tagged in and lays in the boots on the Warrior. Heenan quickly tags in the Ultimate Warrior who has been worked over.
The Ultimate Warrior chokes Anderson, and the referee calls for him to stop it. Anderson continues to work him over with Heenan helping on the outside.
As Anderson is whipped into the ropes he knocks Bobby Heenan off the apron to the floor. The Ultimate Warrior then Gorilla Presses Arn Anderson and drops him to the mat. He then hits a splash and makes the pinfall and elimination.
Arn Anderson is eliminated.
The Ultimate Warrior is in the ring awaiting Bobby Heenan to come in the ring as he is on the outside. Warrior is walking around the ring and climbs into the ring as Heenan is calling for Anderson to come back.
Heenan is begging for mercy as the Warrior tosses him from one end of the ring to another. The Brain goes over the top rope and heas for the back.
The Warrior won’t let him leave! Heenan is whipped into the ring and is hit with a flying tackle and a splash. Warrior makes the cover for the three count and the elimination.
Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan is eliminated.
Winners: The Ultimate Warriors
The Ultimate Warrior charges back up the aisleway and knocks down Bobby Heenan on his way back to the locker room.
