In an announcement made by the National Wrestling Alliance today, the promotion has announced a new face to their broadcast team. As current NWA World Champion, Nick Aldis made viewers aware a former champion will be at Into the Fire. Stu Bennett is set to join the broadcast team for the NWA at Into the Fire. With their upcoming pay per view set to take place on December 14th, the company announced that the former Wade Barrett will be joining the company. Bennett is just one of former either IMPACT Wrestling/TNA or WWE personal who has joined the company. Stu Bennett joins the likes of Aaron Stevens, Trevor Murdoch, Eli Drake, and Ken Anderson (Kennedy) as past WWE talent that is now a part of the NWA.

Bennett returned to wrestling he commentated for two WCPW/Defiant show in 2017. The following year he was part of the commentary team during the Summer of 2018 of the World of Sport Wrestling program that was filmed in the UK. The former WWE Intercontinental champion has recently been more active acting than in the ring. Stu Bennett recently announced his participation in the film I Am Vengence.

    Madison’s Mindset:

The recent announcement by the NWA comes on the heels of a recent resignation. Jim Cornette’s departure from the broadcast team has opened the door for Bennett. For anyone that isn’t sure as to how well Bennett will adapt as a commentator best look to his past. Between Bennett’s in-ring experience, a strong ability to deliver convincing promos and knowledge of the sport should have no fear. The former bare-knuckles champion is a recognized face to wrestling fans. Bennett’s ties to the NWA date back to 2004. It was then when he competed as part of the NWA UK Hammerlock Wrestling promotion. There was no indication as to whether Bennett’s working relationship with NWA was a one-time deal or something long-term. Fans can anticipate the broadcast debut of Stu Bennett at Into the Fire.
