On August 28th, 2002, the NWA-TNA PPV 11 retroview began when Mike Tenay and Don West welcomed everyone to NWA-TNA. Tenay hypes up the triple threat ladder match between AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn, and Low Ki for the X-Division Championship.
Brian Lawler is seen coming into the Nashville Fairgrounds Sports Arena. Goldylocks asks, What is going on with Jeff Jarrett and you? I thought you guys were friends. Brian Lawler attacked Jeff Jarrett from behind the last two weeks on NWA-TNA PPVs. Lawler keeps repeating, “You want to know what Jarrett did to him.” Jeff Jarrett attacked Brian Lawler from behind as he was about to tell Goldylocks what Jarrett did to him. Referees and security break up the brawl between Jarrett and Lawler.

Kid Kash vs. Amazing Red
The opening contest involves Kid Kash, and Amazing Red Scott Armstrong is the referee for this match. Both men with wrist locks and hammerlocks, with neither man getting a clear-cut advantage. Red monkey flips Kash, but he lands on his feet. Kash with a hip toss, and they trade leg sweeps and then have a standstill. Kash shoves Red, who slaps Kash and drop toe holds Kash to the mat.
They trade arm drags and again have a standstill. Red calls Kasha an old man and wants a test of strength. Kash messes around with Red and slaps him. Red backdrops Kash to the apron and knocks him to the floor, where Red connects with a somersault dive! Kash sends Red into the guard railing and throws a chair right into the face of Red. Kid Kash then hits a nice springboard clothesline off the top for a near fall.
Kash locks in a Boston Crab but lifts Red, drops him down to the mat, and drops an elbow for a near fall. Kash runs into a big boot and is taken down with a hurricanrana for a near fall. Red with a spin kick and gets another near fall. Kash leaps off the middle rope and nails Red with another clothesline for a near fall. Gut wrench powerbomb by Kash. Red rolls Kash up for a near fall and dropkicks Kash.
Red leaps off the middle rope connecting with an inverted tornado DDT for a near fall. Kash drives Red down from the top rope with a gorilla press slam but only gets a two count. Red with several kicks in the corner but misses an attack and is left to dry in the corner before suffering a guillotine leg drop for a near fall. Kash with a cross body off the top for another near fall. Kid Kash then sends the referee into the ropes to crotch Red on the top. Kash with Bankruptcy.
Winner: Kid Kash
After the match, Red tries to shake hands with Kash, but Kash clotheslines Red. SAT come down to the ring and attack Kash to save their buddy. SAT takes Kash down with the Spanish Fly off the top rope.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Sonny Siaki. Goldylocks mentions that Siaki will be facing Monty Brown. Siaki has his back turned to the camera and finally turns around on his terms. Sonny says that Brown isn’t on the level of Siaki. Siaki is bigger than the Super Bowl. Siaki leaves after saying he is bigger than everyone and everything.

The next match involves Sonny Siaki and Monty Brown. Rudy Charles is the referee for this match. Before the match, Brown grabs a microphone and cuts a promo on Jeff Jarrett, saying that he will take Jarrett apart with his bare hands and not with chairs. Brown has chosen to Alpha Bomb Jarrett to oblivion. Siaki and Brown trade right hands in the corner, with Brown coming out with the advantage with right hands and chops.
Brown sends Siaki into the corner, and Siaki flips over the top to the floor. Monty then charges Siaki on the floor but is drop toe hold into the guard railing. Brown comes back by sending Siaki into the guard railing and delivering several chops on the floor. Monty keeps on sending Siaki into the guard railing. Brown gets a near fall back in the ring. Monty Brown with a side slam for another near fall.
Brown with a splash in the corner and a butterfly suplex for a near fall. Monty then achieves yet another near fall following a vertical suplex. Brown with one of the worst chin locks in the history of wrestling. Siaki comes off the ropes but runs right into a clothesline. Siaki finally gets some offense planting Brown with a DDT. Brown takes Siaki over with a modified fisherman suplex.
Overhead belly-to-belly suplex by Brown to continue to dominate the match. Brown with the Alphaultion. Jeff Jarrett comes down and distracts Brown, which allows Siaki to low blow Brown and rolls him up.
Winner: Sonny Siaki.
After the match, Bullet Bob comes out to the entrance ramp with a chair which allows Brown to work on Jarrett with right hands. Jarrett is backed against the guard railing, where Brian Lawler chokes Jarrett with his belt. Security runs down to break up the brawl.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Slash and some random guy. Slash says that there aren’t friends when you live in the womb of hell. There are only people who are like him. The random guy with him is named Cobain. Cobain apparently likes the thought of suicide, pain, and his own blood.

Backstreet Boys vs. Slash & Cobain vs. Hot Shots vs. “Cowboy” James Storm & “Wildcat” Chris Harris.
Scott Armstrong is the referee; in the ring, Andrew Thomas is the referee on the floor for this match. Slash with a Neckbreaker on oneBackstreet Boys goes for a pin, gets the 1-2-3! Backstreet Boys have been eliminated from the 4-Way Elimination Match. “Cowboy” James Storm Reverse DDT off the middle rope on one of The Hot Shots goes for a pin, gets the 1-2-3!

Brian Lee and Don Harris come out to ringside; they join Mike Tenay & Don West on commentary ask why they aren’t in this match?

After the match, Brian Lee & Don Harris hit the ring, attacked “Cowboy” James Storm and “Wildcat” Chris Harris. After the match, Backstreet Boys return to the ring attack, Brian Lee and Don Harris. Hot Shots return to the ring join the brawl in the ring. Brian Lee & Don Harris are just throwing everyone out of the ring.
Backstage Jeff Jarrett confronts Bob Armstrong. Fans are chanting; You suck dick! Fans chanting, You di*k! You suck di*k! at Bruce. They were bleeping di*k when the fans were chanting; You suck dick at Bruce.

Miss TNA Crown
Bruce vs. April Hunter
The following match is for Miss TNA crown as Bruce takes on April Hunter. Scott Armstrong is the referee for this match. Oh god! Bruce has the mic. Bruce says, “All the men want me.” And all the women want to be like me, just like Tenay’s wife. Mike Tenay, don’t bring my wife into this. Again, Tenay says on commentary, don’t get my wife involved in this. If April Hunter can beat Bruce, she’ll be the new Miss TNA and be $5,000 richer.
Can we get on with the match already, please? Before the match, Bruce and April Hunter are face to face; they exchange words. Bruce shoves April Hunter away. Bruce takes off his crown, and Miss TNA sash sets them in the corner. April Hunter can probably beat Bruce to become the new Miss TNA. Let’s see what happens in this match? April Hunter has the advantage at the start of the match, a series of chops, forearms, and a Japanese Arm Dragon Bruce.

On commentary, Don West asked Mike Tenay What the deal with Bruce mentioning Tenay’s wife in his promos? Mike replied ‘I don’t know?’ and tells Don, ‘don’t you start.’ Meanwhile, Bruce has taken control of the match back in the ring. Bruce, with Vertical Suplex, he held it for a few seconds to let the blood rush to April Hunter’s head. Fans are letting Bruce hear it booing him throughout this match versus April Hunter.
Tenay asks West, ‘What do you think of the Evening Gown and wrestling boots?’ Bruce is wearing what look that is. Don just laughs. West says I don’t think we’ll see it at Bloomingdale’s. Mike adds I don’t think you’ll see any runway models wearing it either. Hunter with some offense throughout the match. Bruce with a Powerbomb goes for a pin, gets the 1-2-3!
Tenay and West mention on commentary there is a situation Bruce doesn’t find himself in or didn’t seem to enjoy having April Hunter up in the position for a Powerbomb.
Winner: AND STILL Miss TNA Bruce.
Bruce asked referee Scott Armstrong to get him, his crown, and Miss TNA sash. After the match, Bruce motioned asked the fans should I unzip her top? Bruce was further trying to humiliate April Hunter. Slyck Wagner Brown came down to the ring to make the save. Back then, April Hunter and Slyck Wagner Brown were a couple. I didn’t know that. I know Slyck Wagner Brown from New England Championship Wrestling based out of Boston, MA.
Backstage, Goldylocks conducts an interview with the other two members of the Flying Elvises. Jimmy Wang Yang has a hard time saying All shook up. Sonny Siaki comes into the interview. Like Sonny Siaki tells his fans, If you say your prayers and take your vitamins, you’re probably going to lose your hair. It’s a clear shot at Hulk Hogan. Mike Tenay just said on commentary after this match, Goldylocks exclusive Sit-down interview Brian Lawler we’re going to FINALLY hear what Jeff Jarrett did to him.

Spanish Announce Team vs. The Flying Elvises
Next up is a tag team match between Spanish Announce Team and The Flying Elvises. Rudy Charles is the referee for this match. Tenay and West keep hyping up the Brian Lawler interview. Don West mentions Jeff Jarrett, and Brian Lawler grew up in pro wrestling together. Mike Tenay says yes, they did, which is true Jerry Jarrett and Jerry “The King” Lawler were the co-owners of the Memphis Wrestling Territory in Memphis, TN, for years.
The Flying Elvises with Double Moonsaults off the middle rope onto The Spanish Announce Team on the floor. Those were nice Double Moonsaults off the middle rope to the floor by The Flying Elvises on The Spanish Announce Team. If The Spanish Announce Team are wrestling in the match, who’s calling this match for the Spanish broadcast of NWA-TNA PPV #11?
The other member of The Flying Elvises goes for a pin, gets a two count. Don West mentions if fans were wondering where Amazing Red and Sonny Siaki aren’t at ringside? They both already wrestled tonight, Amazing Red against Kid Kash, in the opening contest winner Kid Kash. Sonny Siaki against Monty Brown in the second match of the night with the winner Sonny Siaki.
Monty Brown and the referee got distracted when Jeff Jarrett came down to ringside. Winner Sonny Siaki low blows Monty Brown when the referee was distracted by Jarrett at ringside. The other Flying Elvises member with another Springboard Moonsault goes for a pin, gets yet again. Another two count. Jimmy Wang Yang tags into the match, hits Leg Lariat goes for a pin; special gets a two count on that pinfall.

Fans are cheering for The Flying Elvises in this match. Jimmy Wang Yang tags Estrada with a Springboard Elbow Drop over the top rope, goes for a pin, gets a two count. These near-falls are getting to be a bit much. SAT is in control of the match. Don West asked Mike Tenay on commentary about the story Tenay was telling West earlier that day.
A month ago, when the other two members of SAT made their debut in NWA-TNA, the 17-year-olds took a Greyhound bus 17 hours each way from Brooklyn, NY to Nashville, TN. One of the SAT’s members Standing Moonsault goes for a pin; Jimmy Wang Yang breaks up the pinfall at two. One of the SAT members with a Drop Kick goes for a pin, gets a two count. Jimmy Wang Yang tags back into the match, Snap Leg Drop goes for the pin gets a two count.
Wang Yang with a Suplex into a Neckbreaker goes for a pin, gets another two count. Tenay mentioned it on commentary that was a nice combination of moves there, by Jimmy Wang Yang Vertical Suplex transitioned into a Neckbreaker. West reminds us still to come is the X-Division Championship Triple Ladder match between AJ Styles, Low Ki, and Jerry Lynn.
The Flying Elvises are in control of the match; Jimmy Wang Yang tags Estrada back into the match.
Estrada goes for the lazy pin with right hands, barely gets a two count then, complains to referee Rudy Charles about his three count. Estrada, maybe if he’d have put his body weight completely over your opponent’s chest on a pinfall, he would probably have a better chance of winning the match. Jimmy Wang Yang tags back into the match. Jimmy Wang Yang tags Estrada back into the match.
With a Springboard Dive over the top rope, Estrada goes for a pinfall gets a two count. Mike Tenay says you would think NWA-TNA matchmakers have to be considering both these tag teams, The Flying Elvises and SAT’s for the upcoming Gauntlet For the Gold #1 Contenders Tag Team Tournament in September. Estrada distracted referee Rudy Charles Sonny Siaki comes to the ring stops SATs from doing The Spanish Fly on The Flying Elvises.

It was a good tag team match between The Flying Elvises and SATs. However, the match had too many near-falls. Goldylocks comes to the ring; it’s time for the Exclusive Interview with Brian Lawler; what did Jeff Jarrett do to him? Brian Lawler’s music hits he makes his way to the ring for this Exclusive interview with Goldylocks to tell the world the personal issue between Jeff Jarrett and him.
Fans chanting Jerry’s kid at Brian Lawler. He asked Goldylocks her name; she replied, you know my name, it’s Goldylocks fan chant Goldylocks’ name is she says thank you. Brian Lawler says Goldylocks’ name twice says he sees her coming out here, wearing her skinny jeans, tops showing her cleavage looking like a fl**zy, a two-dollar who*e. Lawler says this is a wrestling ring; it’s no place for someone like you, so get to stepping get out of the ring right now.
Goldylocks leaves the ring. Lawler calls the fans morons and says he wants complete silence. That always works really well in pro wrestling when one of the bad guys tells the fans to shut up. Lawler was threatening to go into the crowd & slap all the fans across the face. I’m Brian; it’s only a two-hour PPV. Can you get on with this? He’s giving Jeff Jarrett five seconds to get in his ass in the ring.

Fans chanting, we want Jarrett; there’s a chant from the fans I didn’t expect to hear. NWA World Heavyweight Champion R-Truth Ron Killings comes out and interrupts Brian Lawler. Lawler says he knows Ron Killings is mad at him for hitting R-Truth with a steel chair. I promise it was an accident. He sounds sincerely sorry to me, no? Killings tells Lawler to shut the hell up. Lawler says R-Truth was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Killings says, no, Lawler, you’re the one who’s in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ron Killings promises before, all said and done Brian Lawler is going to know what the Truth is about. Lawler says it doesn’t have to be like that as R-Truth goes to the back Lawler says again, this is personal between Jeff Jarrett and I has to do with Brian Lawler’s girlfriend who’s sitting at ringside.
Lawler asks a ringside photographer if he’s taking pictures of his girlfriend? The ringside photographer was shaking his head no saying he was just doing his job taking pictures of the action in the ring. Lawler is pointing at the ring photographer egging Lawler on.
Brian Lawler gets out of the ring confronts the ring photographer. Lawler shoves him out of his chair. Lawler and his girlfriend leave. On commentary, Mike Tenay and Don West talk about Brian Lawler being insecure attacking people, including Don West. Recap from Last Week on NWA-TNA PPV Jeff Jarrett attacks The Mask Bullet. Up next, Jeff Jarrett and The Masked Bullet. Rudy Charles is the referee for this match. This is a rematch from last week’s Unsanctioned Match on NWA-TNA #10 PPV between Jeff Jarrett and The Mask Bullet. Jarrett was on offense as he attacked The Mask Bullet as soon as the bell rang. Jarrett & The Mask Bullet brawl in the crowd Jarrett hitting The Mask Bullet with steel chairs.
Fans chanting TNA! Jeff Jarrett goes over to the announce table yells at Mike Tenay and Don West; he wants his title shot at NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Jeff Jarrett and The Mask Bullet match is, at least, in the ring now. The Mask Bullet, briefly in control of the match, Jarrett goes into his right knee pad pulls out a pair of handcuffs. He handcuffs The Mask Bullet to the top rope.
Jarrett gets out of the ring, grabs a microphone on the announce table says, “It’s time to find out who this special is? He’s going to take the mask off The Mask Bullet. Jarrett grabs a steel chair at ringside. ‘Bullet” Bob Armstrong hits the ring he attacks Jeff Jarrett in the ring. Jarrett hits “Bullet” Bob Armstrong with a steel chair over the head. “Bullet” Bob Armstrong is busted open.

Again, Jeff Jarrett hits “Bullet” Bob Armstrong over the head with a steel chair. The Mask Bullet is still handcuffed to the top rope. Jarrett asks for the mic. He says now that I kicked “Bullet” Bob Armstrong’s a*s like said I was going to. It’s time to find out who your ass is? Jeff Jarrett is pointing to The Mask Bullet as he says that. Security comes to the ring and stops Jarrett’s attack in the ring.
Last week on NWA TNA PPV #10 AJ Styles vs. Jerry Lynn 2 Out of the 3 Falls Match. Jerry Lynn won First Fall Falls Count Anywhere Match with Cradle Piledriver. AJ Styles won Second Fall with Styles Clash from Middle Rope. Third Fall 10 Minute Iron Match. Styles went up 2-0 in the first 15 seconds. Jerry Lynn gets a fall with 6:17 left in the third fall. Move forward 19 seconds left tied 3-3. The 10 Minute Iron Match went to Time Limit Draw. X-Division Champion Low Ki came out to the ramp watch the end of their Minute Iron Match raised both Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles hands attacked both men then challenged them to X-Division Triple Ladder Match.

The ladder finally comes into play as Lynn sets it up and starts to climb, but Ki knocked him off. Low Ki then looked to start climbing, but Styles took him out. Styles took control but was soon attacked by Lynn from behind.
Fan support is all over the place here—some good spots with the ladder, including Styles making a dive off the ladder onto Lynn. Ki nailed a kick to Lynn’s face and went for a cover, but the ref reminded him that he could not win that way. Big spot saw Styles climb the ladder, but Low Ki stopped him and hit him with some kicks as Styles was hanging upside down from the ladder. Another big spot as Lynn suplexes Low Ki off the ladder.
