#NEWS: MLW Moving To A Bigger Network?

Big news coming out of the Major League Wrestling (MLW) camp today.

A few days ago word was passed around that the company was going to announce a new partnership. The rumors started to fly around as to who or what this partnership could be. Well today, it seems we may finally have an answer.

WrestlingInc has been talking to their sources that are close to the promotion and found out that Showtime have shown a very strong interest in Major League Wrestling. They, as well as ourselves, currently don’t have any more specific information about the situation.

It should be noted that before All Elite Wrestling signed with TNT last year, Showtime was in the running to air AEW’s programming on their network. Apparently talks were at a very advanced stage before Tony Khan decided to sign with TNT.

Blake’s Take – That’s a big ballsy move there if Court Bauer and co can pull this off! What a wrestling world we live in if yet ANOTHER wrestling company can make it to network TV. Although there may be a fly in the ointment…AEW. Major League Wrestling has a few AEW contracted stars on their roster. I have a sneaky suspicion that if MLW does indeed make it to network TV, they may lose said stars. Does the company have the capability to make new stars to replace those that may leave? I’m not 100% sure. But I’d love to see them try at least. All hail this golden age of wrestling!
