In a recent tweet, WWE Raw Superstar Ricochet sent out a tweet on behalf of his mom, thanking fans for the support in this difficult time. As some may recall from an article published on WWE.com the home where Ricochet grew up in was destroyed due to a house fire. In an effort to alleviate the financial burden that can accompany such a tragic event on his family. While the former NXT North American and Dusty Rhodes Classic winner set up a GoFundMe Page which could be seen here it was the generosity of his former NXT alumni that also came together to launch a fundraiser known as ‘The Ricochet Family Fund’ on eBay. These efforts have not gone unnoticed as the outpouring of support that he has received not just from his colleagues but fans have been tremendous. His families gratitude for all the effort that he has put into these efforts has also not gone unnoticed.

Here is an excerpt of what Ricochet wrote on the GoFundMe page. Monday afternoon I found out that my mom came home from the theatre to find her house engulfed in flames. Luckily my mom, her boyfriend, and his two boys are all okay but devastated from losing all of the memories that were in this house. Not only memories that they have made together, but from me and my brother’s childhood, my son growing up and everything in between.
Marc’s Mindset: It says as much about one’s character as it does the relationships they have made when it comes to the overwhelming response these efforts have made. What is remarkable is that the house appears to represent at least three generations as well.
