In a press release sent out by WarnerMedia Partners this morning, it was announced that All Elite Wrestling will begin airing weekly matches on TNT later this year. It was also confirmed that WarnerMedia will provide “exclusive multi-platform access for fans to watch AEW events.” This relates to not only the aforementioned weekly programming but pay-per-views as well. AEW Double or Nothing Adds Two Matches
In today’s episode of Being the Elite, two new matches were announced for All Elite Wrestling’s Double or Nothing event, which will air live from Las Vegas, Nevada on May 24th. Given the aforementioned video’s title, “Tag Team Action,” the announced matches are fitting. AEW Executive Vice President Kenny Omega announced a six-woman tag team that will feature the promotion’s joshi puroresu talent at Double or Nothing. Angelico and Jack Evans Sign with AEW
Shortly after the announcement of All Elite Wrestling partnering with ITV, Pro Wrestling Sheet broke the story that Angelico has signed a deal with AEW. According to Ryan Satin, there was interest from WWE to bring Angelico into NXT. AEW Announces UK Television Partnership
Earlier today, it was announced that AEW announces UK Television partnership, a major television network in the United Kingdom. Under this partnership, AEW’s first major event, Double or Nothing, will be broadcast to UK fans via the ITV Box Office channel. Given the scope of ITV in the UK, this is major news. Oriental Wrestling Entertainment (OWE) has finalized their representatives to face SoCal Uncensored at this month’s AEW Double Or Nothing event on May 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada as part of their six-man tag match.
