Welcome to the latest edition of AEW IGNITE for 10/14/20! This week we have one of the biggest AEW shows in its entire short history. It is the AEW Anniversary show, and all the major titles are on the line! Let us see what they have in store for us this week’s amazingly stacked AEW Dynamite!

    _____________

    MJF Makes A Huge Announcement

MJF has been teasing a lot in recent weeks. After his loss to Jon Moxley at AEW All Out, he told AEW fans that a big change was needed. On this major Anniversary show, he is making a “huge” announcement.

What could that announcement possibly be? It seems possible that he will join a stable, something he has teased a lot in recent shows. That would certainly alter the landscape of AEW forever. It will be exciting to see what one of the AEW biggest stars does next. We will find out on Wednesday night.

Kip Sabin And Miro In Action

It was a great surprise in early September to see Miro officially join AEW. For various reasons, he hasn’t been very active on AEW programming since that great debut. Thankfully, that will change on Wednesday night as “The Best Man” Miro will join Kip Sabin in tag team action. It will be a lot of fun to see Miro in action yet again finally. Hopefully, this will be the beginning of a great run in All Elite Wrestling for this very talented wrestler.

    AEW World Tag Team Championship
    FTR (c) vs Best Friends

FTR has certainly been true fighting champions in recent weeks. They have defeated Jurassic Express, SCU, and Hybrid 2. They have decided to defend their World Tag Team Championships yet again on AEW Dynamite. Their opponents on Wednesday night might be their most dangerous challengers yet.

Best Friends are coming off a huge victory against Santana and Ortiz in the brutal Parking Lot Brawl just a few weeks ago. They have become one of the most successful tag teams in all of AEW. They were unsuccessful at AEW Fyter Fest this summer when they had a chance to win the Tag Team titles. Will they be able to ride their hot streak and finally win the big one?

    AEW Women’s World Championship
Hikaru Shida (c) vs Big Swole

Hikaru Shida is looking for a real challenger. For a variety of reasons, the AEW Women’s Division lacks a lot of real depth. Shida had her best feud of her title reign against an NWA wrestler. Can that possibly change on Wednesday night? It is Big Swole’s time.

Big Swole returned to AEW Dynamite last week and picked a victory in a good match against Serena Deeb. Her reward is an AEW Women’s Championship match at the huge AEW Anniversary Show. Big Swole has proven herself to be one of the bright spots of the division. Can she give Hikaru Shida her biggest challenge to date?

    TNT Championship
    Cody (c) vs Orange Cassidy

Cody is truly back. Last week, he regained his TNT Championship, winning a brutal Dog Collar Match against Mr. Brodie Lee. Cody, never one to rest on his laurels, is defending his newly won title yet again. He is doing so against the laziest man in professional wrestling, Orange Cassidy.

Orange Cassidy lost his TNT Championship chance against Brodie Lee just a few weeks ago. It wasn’t exactly a clean loss for Orange Cassidy, with major interference by the Dark Order helping cost him the match. He has already proven his in-ring ability defeating the legend Chris Jericho on two separate occasions clean. Can Orange Cassidy continue his hot streak and win his first AEW title?

    AEW IGNITE for 10/14/20

    AEW World Championship
Jon Moxley (c) vs Lance Archer

It is time for the main event! Lance Archer picked up his AEW career’s biggest victory when he won the Casino Battle Royal at AEW All Out. His reward was getting an AEW World Title match against his old rival Jon Moxley. He is getting his reward at the biggest Dynamite of the year.

Jon Moxley and Lance Archer are certainly no strangers to each other. This year at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom, they had a brutal Texas Deathmatch for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship. Moxley won the title that night. Can Lance Archer pull off the major upset in Jacksonville in the highly anticipated rematch? I cannot wait to find out.
