It was a special night last week with the AEW Grand Slam show. In front of the largest crowd in AEW history, they delivered a memorable event. The match between Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson will go down in history for sure. So the question is, what do you do for an encore during the AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 9/29/21 do?

This week’s Dynamite has some great matches as well. We will see a dream match between Adam Cole and Jungle Boy, a women’s tag team match that is weeks in the making, and what could be a special TNT Championship main event.  Let us find out more about this night in Rochester in the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 9/29/21.

Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson vs. Dante Martin & Matt Sydal

Cody Rhodes was booed last week against Malaki Black in their huge rematch. Thanks to a Arn Anderson distraction and some black mist, Cody lost yet again to his rival on the New York show. So what will Cody be thinking as he returns to the ring just one week later?

Rhodes and fellow Nightmare Family member Lee Johnson will be facing the high-flying team of Dante Martin and Matt Sydal. Can Cody Rhodes get back on track against a truly dangerous team? And if Martin/Sydal do pull off the upset, how will Cody react to two back-to-back losses? The stakes seem huge for this tag team match on Wednesday night.

Penelope Ford & Bunny vs. Tay Conti & Anna Jay

This grudge match has been building for weeks. Conti and Jay will be looking for revenge against a pair of competitors that have been using brass knuckles to secure victory repeatedly in recent weeks. But will the face team find a way to actually pick up an important victory?

It seems well overdue for them to overcome the brass knuckles. I mean, they have to learn to overcome The Bunny and Ford eventually, right? Another story to watch is what role the Dark Order will play in the outcome on Wednesday night. Will they continue to bicker and cost Conti/Jay the match? It seems like something major is coming in this storyline. Either they will break up, or a new leader will emerge. Could that happen in Rochester?

    Adam Cole vs. Jungle Boy

An epic match occurs in Rochester. Adam Cole has been impressive in his first two AEW matches so far. But a match against Jungle Boy is on a whole different level for sure.

Expect a high-paced match between two of the most talented wrestlers in AEW. Adam Cole is looking to establish himself in The Elite early in his AEW career. But the 24-year-old Jungle Boy is in desperate need of a signature win after so many close calls in his major matches. When you have two of the best desperately trying to establish themselves, you can expect a great match on AEW Dynamite. I cannot wait.

    Miro (c) vs. Sammy Guevara
    (AEW TNT Championship)

“The Redeemer” has destroyed everything in his path since winning the AEW TNT Championship in May of 2021. In recent weeks, he has embarrassed Fuego Del Sol on numerous occasions. On a recent AEW Rampage, Fuego’s best friend, Sammy Guevara, had enough and challenged Miro. It is now time for likely Miro’s biggest TNT Championship defense to date.

Sammy Guevara is one of the most talented wrestlers in All Elite Wrestling. The issue is he hasn’t had a lot of singles matches in recent months. This is his chance to impress against one of the best AEW has to offer. Can “The Spanish God” overcome Miro on Wednesday night? It is hard to say, but it should be a fun main event for another strong episode of AEW.

    What To Expect:

    • What will CM Punk do next after his AEW Rampage victory?
    • Will any surprise debuts occur in Rochester?
    • What is next in the World Title picture after the epic Danielson/Omega match?
