It is time for FTR vs. Young Bucks II as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 4/6/22! This week’s AEW Dynamite has one of the most highly anticipated tag team rematches in a long time. Two tag team titles will be on the line on AEW Dynamite. We have a Tables Match as well. If you also add in a match between Christian Cage and Adam Cole, you have the possibility of a special night on Wednesday. Let us find out more about the huge show in Boston in the latest edition of AEW IGNITE.
AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 4/6/22
Christian Cage vs. Adam Cole
Adam Cole & ReDRagon mocked the AEW World Champion Hangman Page and AEW World Tag Team Championships Jurassic Express by stealing their titles and hosting a mock celebration on last week’s AEW Dynamite. This didn’t set well with the three champions who attacked Cole, Fish, and O’Reilly. However, they were able to get back their titles as well.
We get a huge match between Christian Cage and Adam Cole on this week’s show. Cage has become a mentor to the AEW Tag Team Champions, and he is out for revenge. Cage is smart enough to know that Cole’s allies will be close by. Will they play a factor in the outcome? Let us hope not because this has the makings of a classic singles match between two of the best in All Elite Wrestling.
The Hardys vs. The Butcher & The Blade
(Tables Match)
The feud continues between the AFO and The Hardys on Wednesday night. We have already had a lot of brutal matches in this feud already. So what will happen between these four in the tables match? It seems the recipe for some truly crazy moments.
The Hardys certainly have a long history of being in Table Matches over their legendary career. But the Butcher & The Blade have also had their share of hardcore matches in AEW. What length do these four men go to gain a victory?

FTR (c) vs. The Young Bucks
(AAA & ROH Tag Team Championship Match)
At the Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor, FTR defeated The Briscoe Brothers to become the Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions in an epic match. But they were not able to celebrate their massive victory for very long. The Young Bucks arrived to challenge FTR shortly after the match. However, FTR wanted the fight to start at Supercard of Honor. So the Young Bucks laid the challenge for this week’s AEW Dynamite instead.
The ROH and AAA Tag Team Championships are on the line on Wednesday night. FTR is desperate for a victory over the Young Bucks. They have been in AEW for over two years and haven’t earned that elusive victory over Matt and Nick Jackson. So will it happen on Wednesday night? Or will the Young Bucks take two tag team titles from two of the most prestigious wrestling companies in the world? If the match on Wednesday is anything like their match at Full Gear 2020, then we are in for a special night in Boston.
What To Expect:
- Who will qualify next for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament?
- When will Adam Cole and Hangman Page face off next?
- Will we learn more about “Battle of the Belts?”
