Welcome to the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 2/17/21. After an exciting main event last week, the “Forbidden Door” has officially been opened. Could we see more surprises from other promotions on this week’s AEW Dynamite? Will we see more Inner Circle drama? Will we see an AEW Tag Team title change? We have many questions to answer as we are now only a few weeks from AEW Revolution. Let us see what they have in store for us in this week’s AEW Dynamite.

    Sting Call Out Team Taz

It is about time. For weeks, Sting has come out for conversations with Tony Schiavone that were usually interrupted by Team Taz. Last week, Team Taz interrupted again to show Sting that they had put Darby Allin in a body bag and then proceeded to drag him away from the arena. It is time for Sting to get some revenge.

What will Sting do on Wednesday night? He has threatened Team Taz with a baseball bat for weeks. Now that Team Taz has literally stolen Darby Allin, how will Sting respond? It is only a few weeks from the upcoming Street Fight. It is time for some revenge.

FTR vs. Matt & Mike Sydal

FTR is back! They were suspended by AEW management for their actions against Jurassic Express. FTR cut the horns off Luchasaurus’ mask and kidnapped Marko Stunt. They are finally back in action on Wednesday night.

They will face the new tag team of Matt and Mike Sydal. It will be Mike Sydal’s AEW Dynamite Debut. Will he prove to be as high flying as his brother? And will Jurassic Express make their presence known during this tag team match? It will be an explosive tag team match for sure.

    Serena Deeb vs. Riho
(AEW Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament First Round)

Riho is back! The first-ever AEW Women’s Champion is back in action in AEW for the first time in nearly a year. She has been wrestling in Japan for most of 2020, but it will be great to see her in action again on AEW Dynamite. The AEW Women’s Division has missed her.

She will certainly not be easing back into the AEW Women’s Division on Wednesday night. She will have a first-round match in the Eliminator Tournament against the NWA Women’s Champion Serena Deeb. Deeb has been arguably the best in-ring wrestler in AEW since her debut late last year. Who will win this important first-round match? It is hard to say, but the fans will be the real winners for sure.

Matt Hardy & Hangman Page vs. Hybrid 2

Matt Hardy is in a great mood. He is under the impression he just signed new talent, Hangman Page, to a big contract. Hardy will get 30% of all Page’s future earnings. Or so he thinks. Page pulled the old switch-a-roo and signed a contract from his own jacket instead. What did he actually sign?

Matt Hardy is looking to keep his undefeated tag team streak with Hangman Page going against Hybrid 2 on Wednesday night. Hybrid 2 is a dangerous team looking for a huge victory. Can Page and Hardy coexist against them on AEW Dynamite?

The Young Bucks (c) vs. Santana & Ortiz
    ( AEW Tag Team Championship)

Santana & Ortiz pulled off a big shocker when they eliminated The Young Bucks from the Tag Team Battle Royal recently on AEW Dynamite. While Santana & Ortiz didn’t win the Battle Royal, their Inner Circle stablemates, Chris Jericho and MJF, did. On the Road to AEW Revolution, the Young Bucks have decided to put their AEW Tag Team titles on the line one more time against their old rivals.

Can Santana & Ortiz pull off the big upset? It seems possible as the Young Bucks have been distracted by Elite Drama in recent weeks. Besides, it might be fun to have Inner Circle tag team match at AEW Revolution. The stakes are certainly high on Wednesday night.

Eddie Kingston, The Butcher & The Blade vs. Jon Moxley, Lance Archer & Rey Fenix

Eddie Kingston has a lot of unfinished business with all three of his opponents in this huge six-man tag team match. He has gone to war with Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear. He has fought Lance Archer in recent weeks with mixed results. Kingston even tried to mess with Rey Fenix’s relationship with the rest of Death Triangle. Kingston’s family will get his hands on all three on AEW Dynamite.

The issue is Moxley and Archer will be in a very foul mood. They lost a huge tag team match last week because of a lot of outside interference. As both are likely thinking of future matches with Kenta and Kenny Omega, will their minds be focused on them or their opponents on Wednesday night? This will be a physical brawl, to say the least.
