It is time for a Holiday! At least it is time for a Holiday Bash as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/17/25!

For the sixth straight year, the special episode of Dynamite is back under the “Holiday Bash” theme. This year, it will be a three-hour show with Dynamite and Collision.

It is a loaded card with three Continental Classic matches, an AEW World Tag Team Championship title match, and a Million Dollar match. It should be another fun night!

Let us learn more about this special card in Manchester in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

    Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale

It is time for another AEW tradition. It is time for the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale!

For each year since 2019, AEW has held a Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale to determine the winner of the AEW Dynamite Diamond Ring.

The rules will go back to the traditional rules of 2019 through 2021. The final two participants of the Battle Royale will face off for the Diamond Ring on the Christmas Eve edition of AEW Dynamite.

We know Ricochet, Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, Brody King, and Shelton Benjamin will be part of the Battle Royale.

The biggest question will be about the six-time winner of the Dynamite Diamond Ring, MJF? Couldn’t he possibly give up one of his prized possessions without a fight, right?

Mercedes Mone, Athena, Marina Shafir, & Megan Bayne vs. Babes of Wrath & Timeless Love Bombs
    (8-Woman Tag)

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, the Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) won the first ever AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship.

On AEW Collision, they held a celebration.  That celebration was quickly interrupted by Timeless Love Bombas and Mercedes Mone.

Mone mocked the other four in the ring. Toni Storm challenged her to a match. Mone refused to do so in Wales but agreed to a match on Wednesday night. It is on for Holiday Bash!

Mercedes will work with her Blood & Guts partners, Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne. And Athena, Mone’s recent tag partner, will be on her team as well. It should be a chaotic match in the loaded Women’s division.

FTR (c) vs. Bang Bang Gang
    (AEW World Tag Team Championship
    )

On the November 8th edition of AEW Collision, the Bang Bang Gang defeated FTR in tag team action. FTR would go on to win the Tag Titles at AEW Full Gear. Now it is time for some revenge.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, the Bang Bang Gang will get a chance at FTR’s Tag Team titles. Can lightning strike twice? If it does, FTR will have a very short title reign.

    Máscara Dorada
    vs. Orange Cassidy
    (Continental Classic Blue League)

It is a huge match in the Blue League at Holiday Bash! Máscara Dorada and Orange Cassidy have both won one match so far. Who can pick up the valuable points on Wednesday night?

Máscara Dorada  and Orange Cassidy have only three points each. The leaders currently have seven points. Another loss and you never catch up. Who will win this pivotal match?

    AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/17/25
    Jon Moxley vs. Roderick Strong
    (Continental Classic Gold League)

This Gold League Match is certainly important. Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong will be facing off on Wednesday night. The loser will likely be out of the tournament.

Jon Moxley is having a massive losing streak. In this tournament, he has already lost two times. Can he pick up a much-needed win and stay alive in the Gold League?

Roderick Strong is in an even worse situation. He has zero points with his two losses. He will be eliminated from the Gold League if he loses on Wednesday. Who will stay alive at Holiday Bash?

    AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/17/25
    Kyle Fletcher vs. Pac
    (Continental Classic Gold League)

Kyle Fletcher has six points in the Gold League. He has won two matches and lost one. But with only two matches left, he likely needs to pick up some more points to advance out of the Gold League.

Enter Pac. He has three points in two matches. He has time to make up ground on the leaders, but needs to start picking up points on Wednesday night. Can Pac do it at Holiday Bash? It should be another huge match.

    AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 12/17/25
The Elite vs. Don Callis Family
($1,000,000 Winner Takes All Trios Match
    )

At AEW Full Gear, the Young Bucks and Josh Alexander defeated Kenny Omega and the Jurassic Express in a $1,000,000 match.

After the match, the Don Callis Family attacked Kenny Omega. This proved too much for the Young Bucks, who saved Omega. The Elite were finally back together.

Don Callis has been angry ever since. He refused to give the Young Bucks their share of a million dollars. That is, until maybe Wednesday night.

The Don Callis Family will be putting the money on the line at Holiday Bash. Kazuchika Okada, Konosuke Takeshita, and  Hechicero will represent the family in Manchester. But can Okada and Takeshita work together? We will find out on Wednesday night.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for the feud between Kris Statlander and Jamie Hayter?
    • What is next for Eddie Kingston after his loss?
    • Will we begin to learn any matches for AEW Worlds End?
