Happy New Year as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/7/26! It is time for another year of AEW Dynamite.

For the first Dynamite of 2026, AEW will have a solid card filled with a lot of the best talent in the company. We have a “Timeless” Toni Storm in action.

We have a AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match. We even have a rare “Lights Out” tag team match. It should be a fun way to start 2026!

Let us learn more about this strong card in Tulsa in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

AEW World Champion MJF Appears Live in Tulsa

It should have been a celebration for MJF on last week’s AEW Dynamite. He even brought back the “Triple B” World Title belt. But Max’s celebration was short-lived.

Kenny Omega interrupted the celebration on the video screen. He vowed to come after MJF’s world title yet again. But he wasn’t the only one to interrupt MJF last Wednesday.

Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page arrived with steel chains to confront Max. He escaped as Swerve and Page took out security. Even Samoa Joe reminded everyone he still wanted the World Title back as well.

What will MJF say in Tulsa? He even has to worry about Bandido at next week’s Maximum Carnage. A lot of people seem to have their sights set on the AEW World Champion.

“Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir

“Timeless” Toni Storm is out for revenge. Marina Shafir has been attacking Mina Shirakawa in recent weeks. And if there is one thing we know for sure, Storm loves Mina.

Can Storm handle Shafir? Shafir is certainly pretty vicious in the ring. And where Marina is, the Death Riders will not be too far away. Can the “Timeless” one overcome these odds and defend her “love”?

Jon Moxley (c) vs. Shelton Benjamin
    (AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match)

On last week’s show, Jon Moxley fought Josh Alexander in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match. It was a physical battle that seemed to injure Moxley’s left leg during the match. Would Moxley need to take time off?

It seems there is no rest for the AEW Continental Champion. After the match last week, Shelton Benjamin confronted Moxley.

Shelton Benjamin is one of the most accomplished wrestlers in AEW. He has focused on tag team action in the company but his skill cannot be denied. Can Moxley possibly be ready for this challenge after last week’s physical match?

    Bandido vs. Sammy Guevara

On AEW Collision, Sammy Guevara had something to say. He was tired of seeing others get opportunities. So he challenged Bandido to a match on AEW Dynamite.

Bandido is just one week away from getting an AEW World Championship match at Maximum Carnage. Is it wise to take a challenge from Sammy Guevara?

Guevara has vowed to “take out” Bandido before his title match. Can Bandido escape Guevara’s wrath on Wednesday night? If he wants a real chance to defeat MJF, he must.

Hangman Adam Page & Swerve Strickland vs. The Opps
    (Lights Out Match)

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe was angry. That isn’t new but he set his sights on Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland.

He wants Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs to take out the two this week on Dynamite. That way Samoa Joe will have a clear path back to the World Championship.

Swerve suggested a Lights Out Match. That means anything goes and has led to some of the most violent matches in All Elite Wrestling.

Can the Opps take out some of Joe’s biggest competitors? It will be a violent way to end the first AEW Dynamite of 2026.

    What To Expect:

    • What is next for Mercedes Moné after losing the TBS Championship?
    • What is next for Kenny Omega?
    • Will we learn any more matches for Maximum Carnage?
