Welcome to the latest edition of AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 1/27/21! We had some major storyline advancement on last week’s AEW Dynamite. We are now only one week away from the big AEW Beach Break show. What will we learn about this big show on Wednesday night? Let us see what they have in store for us in this week’s Dynamite!

    Cody Rhodes Responds to Shaq

It was November 11 of last year when Jade Cargill had her debut and announced that Shaq was coming for Cody Rhodes. It was nearly a month later when Shaq appeared in a sit-down interview where he had some insults for Brandi Rhodes. In return, Shaq got a glass of water in his face. On this week’s AEW Dynamite, Cody Rhodes will finally respond to Shaq.

What will Cody Rhodes have to say after all this time? I am sure a lot of AEW fans are curious where this feud is going after so many months. Another big question is will Shaq appear in some form on AEW Dynamite as well?

    Britt Baker vs. Shanna

Britt Baker has been very entertaining in recent weeks hosting “The Waiting Room” on AEW Dark and AEW Dynamite. It is time for her to get back into the wrestling ring again. Her opponent is certainly a surprising one.

Shanna, a European based wrestler, was sadly stopped by the Pandemic for the majority of 2020. In recent weeks, she has finally returned after a long layoff from AEW and had a few matches on AEW Dark in December. This will be her first match on AEW Dynamite in eleven months. Can she pull the huge upset over our favorite dentist?

    Hangman Page vs Ryan Nemeth

Hangman Page won a big eight-man tag team match with the Dark Order last week on AEW Dynamite. He was asked to join the group after the victory. But Hangman Page declined their offer. He wanted to go it alone.

Hangman Page will have a first singles match since the Dark Order decision against Ryan Nemeth. Nemeth is the younger brother of WWE’s Dolph Ziggler. Will the self-proclaimed “Hollywood Hunk” Nemeth pull off a shocking debut against one of the best AEW has to offer?

Chris Jericho & MJF vs. The Varsity Blonds

Jericho and MJF won the huge tag team match last week to become the “official” tag team of the Inner Circle. How do they decide to celebrate? Why they have decided to have another tag team match, of course!

They will face off against the Varisty Blonds of Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. This young tag team hasn’t had a lot of success on AEW Dynamite but has still been impressive their in-ring talent. What can they do against the best tag team in the Inner Circle?

    Dax Harwood vs. Jungle Boy

It was two weeks ago at New Year’s Smash when Tully Blanchard helped FTR cheat to defeat the Jurassic Express in an entertaining tag team match. Jungle Boy was out for revenge when he demanded a singles match against Dax Harwood last week. Luchasaurus will be at ringside for that contest on this week’s show but with a very unique twist.

Luchasaurus will be handcuffed to both Tully Blanchard and Cash Wheeler at ringside. What will be the result of this stipulation? Can we have a fair singles match between Jungle Boy and Dax Harwood? If we can, it could be a fun match.

The Young Bucks & The Good Brothers vs. the Dark Order

The Young Bucks are certainly in an interesting place in AEW. They seem to have mixed emotions helping out Kenny Omega. The Bucks do seem to support their friend, the AEW World Champion but has some reservations about Don Callis. They were shocked to find out that they were removed from a six-man tag team match last week in favor of the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers. On this week’s Dynamite, all four of these talented competitors must work together. Can it possibly happen?

They will face off against a heartbroken Dark Order. They lost the chance to gain Hangman Page as a member last week. What will happen when they face opponents that may not be able to get along on Wednesday night?

    Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer

This will be a hard-hitting affair on Wednesday night. Lance Archer inserted himself into Eddie Kingston’s business just a few weeks ago. The feud has quickly gotten more personal and physical in recent weeks. It all comes to a head as they finally face off in the ring on AEW Dynamite. With both men looking for a huge victory to get them back into title contention, the stakes couldn’t be any higher.
