Welcome to my latest preview of Stardom as we’ll be talking about tomorrows big show, Glory Stars 2019. While there are no titles on the line for this one, the main event will change the fate of the units in the company, which I will get to when I talk about the match. I would also like to point out that Utami Hayashishita is injured and recently had surgery done as she’ll be out of action for about six weeks. We got a few matches to cover, so let’s get down to the card to see what Stardom has in store.
Singles Match
Hina vs. Rina
Our opening contest for the preview Stardom Glory Stars is a singles match with two of our rookies as Rina takes on her sister, Hina. For those of you that don’t know, both Rina and Hina are the sisters of another rookie, Hanan. While both are young and incredibly green, the two girls could show some promise in a few years and we could see which one of these two will get to that point first. Which one of these two sisters will be the victor?
Three Way Match
Hanan vs. Tam Nakano vs. Rebel Kel
Our second preview for Stardom Glory Stars next match is a three-way match with Hanan taking on Tam Nakano and Rebel Kel. This match is mostly for showcasing despite Rebel Kel not really having anything to showcase as she’s…kinda terrible right now as she has failed to impress me at all ever since I started watching her work. Tam looks like she’ll be the only one that’ll carry this match as Hanan will do her best to follow-up. Which one of these three will win the match?
Six Man Tag Team Match
Oedo Tai (Andra Miyagi, Hazuki, & Natsu Sumire) vs. JAN (Leo Onozaki, Natsuko Tora, & Saya Iida)
Preview: Our next match is a six-man tag team match with Oedo Tai members, Andras Miyagi, Hazuki, and Natsu Sumire taking on members of the Jungle Assault Nation, Leo Onozaki, Natsuko Tora, and Saya Iida. This is more of a match to showcase the units in Stardom before the big match tonight to determine who will stay and go to certain units in Stardom. Andras Miyagi failed to defeat Momo Watanabe to capture the Wonder of Stardom Championship, but she can still find a way to jump back in possible title matches in the future. Will Oedo Tai get that one last victory or will JAN pick up the surprise victory?
Six Man Tag Team Match
STARS (Arisa Hoshiki, Saki Kashima, & Starlight Kid) vs. Queen’s Quest (AZM, Bea Priestley, & Konami)
Preview: Our next match is another six-man tag team match is STARS members, Arisa Hoshiki, Saki Kashima, and Starlight Kid as they take on Queen’s Quest members, AZM, Bea Priestley, and Konami. This is the same thing as the previous tag team match where another two units are set to fight each other as we get one step closer to our main event for the big match. Which one of these units will get the big win before the main event?
Five Way Match
Kagetsu vs. Hana Kimura vs. Mayu Iwatani vs. Momo Watanabe vs. Jungle Kyona.
Preview: We now have our main event which is a five-way match between the leaders of all of Stardom’s current factions. First, we have our World of Stardom Champion, Kagetsu as she takes on Hana Kimura (International Army), Mayu Iwatani (STARS), Wonder of Stardom Champion, Momo Watanabe (Queen’s Quest), and Jungle Kyona (JAN). So why is this match important? Well, it’s because this match is also apart of the Stardom Draft as the leaders of their respective units will be able to pick same or new members added to their faction. You can win by pinfall, submission, or throwing your opponent over the top rope and if you win the match first, then you’ll be the first one to pick as you leave the match. It would keep on going until there are two people left in the ring but instead of the loser being able to pick last, Kagetsu suggested that the loser of the match will have their unit disband for good. This stipulation will get added recently as we’ll now have four units left once the match is over instead of five. The winner of the match is crucial if you wanna try to get your current members to stay in your stable before the other ones could have a chance to snatch them from you if you’re not quick enough. Who will be able to get the first pick for the draft and which one of these five will have to disband?
That’s it for this preview before the show tomorrow as I hope you go to Stardom’s twitter to follow the coverage as it happens live or you can wait until the show is fully uploaded on Stardom-world for you to watch it for yourself. I’m excited for the draft and so many possibilities of what could happen now with that new stipulation.
