We are less than two weeks away from the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view as we preview AEW Dynamite IGNITE for 4/1/26. And that is no April Fool’s.

On this week’s AEW Dynamite, MJF and Kenny Omega will have a contract signing. We will see two Trios Matches, and Will Ospreay is back in action against an old rival, Pac. It is another great night of action on Dynamite.

Let us learn more about this big night in Winnipeg in the latest edition of AEW Ignite.

MJF vs. Kenny Omega Contract Signing

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Kenny Omega picked up a huge victory over Swerve Strickland. It earned Omega a title shot against MJF at AEW Dynasty. Can “The Cleaner” win the AEW World Championship back for the first time since 2021?

On this week’s show in Winnipeg, we will have a contract signing. We know Omega will have the hometown advantage in Winnipeg.

But MJF would like nothing more than to play mind games with Omega before Dynasty. Who will get the upper hand on Wednesday night?

Jungle Jack Perry, Brody King, and Kenny Omega vs. The Demand
    (Trios Match)

At AEW Revolution, Jungle Jack Perry outlasted twenty other competitors to win the AEW National Championship.

The former champion, Ricochet, was the last person he eliminated to win the title. Ricochet was certainly not too thrilled about this development.

On Wednesday night, a huge Trios will happen. Ricochet and the rest of the Demand can get their revenge on Jack Perry.

But they will also have to go through his tag team partners, Brody King and Kenny Omega. What will happen next in this long-term feud?

Mina Shirakawa & The Brawling Birds vs. Triangle of Madness
    (Trios Match)

On last week’s AEW Dynamite, Mina Shirakawa had a title match against Thekla. It was a competitive eleven-minute match. That is, until Thekla used some brass knuckles to cheat her way to victory.

It is time for some revenge in another personal Trios Match. Mina Shirakawa has some backup from The Brawling Birds.

The Brawling Birds are undefeated in AEW action. They even picked up a victory over the Sisters of Sin recently. Can the Brawling Birds keep the undefeated streak going against all the members of the Triangle of Madness?

    Pac vs. Will Ospreay

At last year’s AEW Forbidden Door, Will Ospreay was attacked post-match by Jon Moxley and the rest of the Death Riders.

This attack injured Ospreay and forced him out of action for nearly seven months. That is until he returned at AEW Revolution.

Ospreay, naturally, wants to get revenge on Moxley and the rest of his Death Riders’ allies. He will get a shot at Moxley at Dynasty. But first, he gets a shot against the Death Riders’ Pac on Wednesday night.

Pac and Will Ospreay previously faced off in an AEW Ring back at AEW All Out 2024. In that excellent match, Ospreay won the night. Can Will start his revenge tour in Winnipeg and get one step closer to his match with Jon Moxley?

    What To Expect:

    • Will we see Adam Copeland and Christian Cage on Dynamite?
    • What will Swerve Strickland do next after his devastating loss?
    • Will we begin to learn more matches for AEW Dynasty?
