On Wednesday, February 19, 2003, NWA-TNA presented NWA-TNA PPV 33. A video highlighting the recently debuted Raven is shown. The video goes over the recent happenings between Raven, Jarrett, and Styles as well. This is the latest in our NWA-TNA/IMPACT Sunday Night RetroViews.

Mike Tenay and Don West welcome everyone to the show. They go over tonight’s match card, mainly talking about the NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match AJ Styles and champion Jeff Jarrett in the main event.
Outside the building, Goldylocks is waiting in the rain for AJ Styles to arrive. As she is talking, AJ Styles arrives to the TNA Asylum with Vince Russo. Styles heads into the building rather serious, and Russo stays back, looking at Styles before re-entering the car.

NWA-TNA World Tag Team Title Tournament
“Cowboy” James Storm and “Wildcat” Chris Harris America’s Most Wanted vs. Ron and Don Harris
Ron Harris and Chris Harris start off by shoving each other. Chris with several right hands in the corner but Ron reverses and delivers some right of his own. Chris takes Ron down with a Thesz Press and delivers more right hands. Chris with a clothesline in the corner and follows up with right hands.
Chris sends Ron to the floor and rams him into the guard railing and delivers more blows to the back until Don comes down. Storm takes both Harris Brothers out with a somersault dive. Ron works on Storm with right hands in the ring but is taken down by Storm with a head scissors.
Storm dropkicks Ron down and follows up with a super kick for a near fall. Chris re-enters and drives Ron down with a running bulldog for a two count. Don yanks Chris to the floor and sends Chris into the guard railing. Don has a chair and holds it up for Ron to kick the chair into the face of Chris.
Don takes Chris down with an overhead suplex back in the ring. Don with a Samoan Drop for a two count. Ron tags back in the continues his offense on Harris connecting with a series of running clotheslines in the corner. Harris battles back by taking Ron down with a spear out of the corner.
Storm gets the tag from Chris, but the referee didn’t see it as Don was distracting the referee. Chris is doubled team for a few moments in the corner. Double big boot on Chris and Chris runs into a knee lift to the midsection from Ron. Chris manages to roll Ron up and nearly wins the contest.
Storm manages to drop Don throat first across the top rope, and Chris Harris rolls up Don Harris gets the 1-2-3!
Winners: “Cowboy” James Storm & “Wildcat” Chris Harris.
After the match, AMW celebrates to the back while the Harris Brothers are not happy about the outcome.
Mike Tenay and Don West say that AMW will now eventually face Triple X for the vacant tag team titles.
Backstage, Vince Russo is talking to some of his guys. Russo slaps the Harris Brothers as he cannot believe they lost to AMW. Russo shoves them into the S.E.X. locker room.
Mike Tenay and Don West rip into AJ Styles as they assume he is with Vince Russo. Tenay says that Styles sickens him with his alliance with Russo.
Vince Russo enters the ring and tells Mike Tenay to come into the ring to find out what happened between himself and AJ Styles. Russo tells Tenay that he talked to Styles about the real Jeff Jarrett and how Jarrett has a black heart and will do anything it takes to retain the championship.
Russo says that Jarrett cares about himself and not tradition. Russo says that Styles has seen the light and joined him. Russo talks about all the characters that he created back in the WWF. Dusty Rhodes makes his way out and gets a decent reception from the crowd. Rhodes says he isn’t going anywhere until Russo realizes this whole thing is about tradition.
Rhodes cracks a joke about not bringing Viagra as the fans chant that Russo sucks. Russo says that he never understood why Dusty Rhodes hates him. Russo doesn’t believe that it is Nikita Koloff turning on Dusty Rhodes. Russo realized that Dusty hates him because of Dustin Rhodes.
Russo mentions the WCW version of Dustin Rhodes where he was a cowboy. Russo brings up how he created Goldust, and even did the taunt. Russo claims that he made Dustin into a star. Russo says that he was the father to Dusty’s son that he never was. Russo talks about Dustin crying about his upbringing and being their for him while Dusty wasn’t.
Dusty gets pissed and says that he loves his kids more than anything. Dusty suggests that he whips Russo ass right now. Mike Tenay loves the sound of that. Russo takes off his coat, and Rhodes is attacked by the Harris Brothers. All of a sudden… VADER runs down and takes the Harris Brothers out with a double clothesline.
Rhodes takes Ron Harris out with a elbow smash. Vader and Dusty plays to the crowd as Mike Tenay goes nuts over the debut of Vader. Rhodes challenges the Harris Brothers to a tag match with him tagging with Vader. Russo accepts the match for next week.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Lorenzo Papa (who won a auction) to interview Jerry Lynn. Papa mentions that Paul London will be getting a title shot before Jerry Lynn. Lynn says that London deserves the title shot. Lynn says that he will do whatever it takes to prevent the cancer known as Konnan from taking over TNA.
Jerry Lynn vs. Joel Maximo and Jose Maximo
The Maximo Brothers double-team Lynn in the corner with several rights and boots. Lynn takes them down with a clothesline and tilt a whirl backbreaker. Lynn has a Boston Crab on Joel and backdrops Jose down. Lynn takes Jose out with a cross body on the floor. Joel accidentally takes Jose out with a springboard moonsault on the floor.
Lynn gets a near fallback in the ring on Jose. Jose accidentally dropkicks Joel off the apron. Lynn with a rather slow bulldog on Jose in the ring. Lynn with a side slam on Jose and goes to the top but is stopped by Joel. Jose with a kick to crotch Lynn on the top. Jose with a superplex and gets a two count.
Joel, with a leaping kick taking Lynn out. Jose gets a near fall as Joel thought the match was over. Lynn drives Joel down with a tornado DDT but is taken down by Jose with a snap scoop slam. Superkick/German suplex combo on Lynn, which gets Jose a near fall. Double running bulldog, and Joel gets a two count.
Lynn takes Joel down with a head scissors takedown. Jose accidentally hits Joel with a middle rope clothesline. Lynn with the TKO on Jose and gets a two-count. Lynn attempts the cradle pile driver on Joel but is stopped by Jose with a clothesline.
Maximo’s attempt the Spanish Fly, but Lynn fights off and connects with a double clothesline off the top rope, goes for a pinfall gets a two count. Joel accidentally plants Jose with a pile driver. Lynn, with the cradle pile driver on Joel, goes for a pinfall gets the 1-2-3!
Winner: Jerry Lynn.
After the match, a pissed-off Konnan enters the ring and has a whip in his hand. Nothing happens.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Raven. Raven says that he was once a sad, bitter and lonely child. Raven says he was the accident that his parents didn’t want him and told him all the time. Raven mentions meeting a woman named Lori.
Raven says he was happy with Lori until Sandman took his wife and child back. Raven isn’t going to stop until he ends Sandman, no matter how long it takes. Raven wants Sandman to walk with him. As Raven walks away, Vince Russo is leaving the building and tells Sonny Siaki that he is the “ace in the hole”.
In the ring, Glenn Gilbertti is talking about wrestling gimmicks. Gilbertti talks about how people aren’t really walking around with a 2×4 or wearing masks. Gilbertti likes his character to be based off of reality. Gilbertti is going to introduce a new character. This character is a drug addict, cheater and died as a slob. Gilbertti introduces. Disgraceland.

Disgraceland vs. Shark Boy
Disgraceland reverses the Dead Sea Drop and connects with a swinging neck breaker, goes for a pinfall gets the 1-2-3!
Winner: Disgraceland.
After the match, Mike Sanders enters and says that Disgraceland is what reality is all about. Jorge Estrada shows up and takes all three men out in the ring. Sanders, Gilbertti, and Disgraceland.
However, Estrada is beaten down as the numbers game catches up to him. They send Estrada into the S.E.X. locker room and shove his head in the toilet, and flush. They throw Estrada out of the locker room.

Backstage, Goldylocks is with JJ Dillon. Dillon says that he is sick and shocked that AJ Styles is apparently with S.E.X. Dillon fehe has been lied to. Larry Zbyszko comes over and asks what is going on. Larry says that he will find out what is going on.

NWA-TNA X-Division Championship Match
Paul London vs. (c) Kid Kash with Trinity
They shake hands before the bell. Both men take each other down with arm drags and leg trips before a standoff. Kash with a knee and chop to control London. London with several forearm shots and misses a twisting kick. Kash sends London to the apron and runs into a shoulder ram.
Kash hip tosses London to the apron, who tries to hang on but is dropkicked by Kash. Kash takes London out with a double springboard cross body on the floor. London blocks a baseball slide on the floor and drives Kash down with a headlock slam and a standing shooting star press on the floor.
Kash and London trade some chops until Kash sends London into the guard railing. London catches a chair and throws the chair right into the face of Kash. London, with a slingshot, roll up back into the ring and gets a near fall. London with a spinning heel kick and gets a two-count.
Kash with a springboard dropkick that sends London off the apron to the floor. Kash with a flip dive over the top onto London on the floor. Kash with a top rope clothesline back in the ring but only gets a two count. London with a dropsault and a standing spin kick which gets a two-count.
London and Kash trade a few roll ups get two counts. London, with a twisting neck breaker countering, the Money Maker goes for a pinfall and gets a two count. Kash misses a double springboard dropkick attempt. London with a slingshot head scissors. Kash quickly comes back with a double springboard Hurricanrana but only gets a two-count. Kash plants London with the Money Maker.
Winner: AND STILL NWA X-Division Champion, Kid Kash.
After the match, Kid Kash and Trinity celebrate the win. Kash helps London up to his feet.
Backstage, Goldylocks is with Sonny Siaki. Siaki gets his troops their attention. Siaki says that he is in charge, but Gilbertti says that Sanders should be in charge. Siaki tells Low Ki “No pain no game”. Siaki also tells Sanders that winning is the only thing. Siaki wants everyone to put their hands in, but no one does it.
Sanders mentions that he is facing Jonah from Tough Enough. Siaki wants Sanders to kick his ass. Gilbertti and Sanders mock Siaki by doing a brief Sonny chant.
Mike Tenay has a sit-down interview with Jonah, who lost Tough Enough. Jonah is 23 and is from Boston. Jonah played some football at Union College. Jonah talks about Tough Enough and says that it was tough. Jonah talks about the promise that he made that he will be see once again in wrestling.
Mike Sanders has a microphone as Jonah enters the ring. Sanders pokes fun that Jonah doesn’t know where the camera is, so he turns Jonah around. Sanders talks about Jonah coming in third place in Tough Enough. Sanders is going to offer Jonah the same thing he offered Sonny Siaki.
Sanders offers the young blonde lady to Jonah. Sanders says that she puts the TNA dancers to shame. Jonah says that he is tempted. Jonah wants to do this on his own and accomplish his dream of being a pro wrestler.

Mike Sanders vs. Jonah
Sanders has a lovely blonde woman with him. Jonah takes Sanders down with several arm drags and locks the arm of Sanders. Sanders drives Jonah across the middle rope and delivers a few shots to the back of Jonah. Late in the match, Sanders misses a springboard moonsault is taken down with several clotheslines, a scoop slam, and a dropkick.
Sanders is taken down with a power slam. Jonah locks in the STF. The blonde hair chick distracts Jonah flashing him, Sanders, with 3.0 on Jonah, goes for a pinfall gets the 1-2-3!
Winner: Mike Sanders.
After the match, S.E.X. celebrate their win.

Low-Ki and Raven vs. The Sandman and Steve Corino
Sandman and Corino drink some beers and walk through the crowd before entering the ring. Sandman leaps off the balcony and takes Raven and Low-Ki out on the floor. Sandman and Corino are delivering right hands-on Raven. Sandman sends Raven towards Corino who hits him with a trash can, and the same goes for Low-Ki.
Sandman places a trash can over Raven’s head and smashes another trash can over Raven’s head. Low-Ki sends Corino into the guardrail while Sandman is met with a trash can shot from Raven. Raven pile drives Sandman through a table. Corino hits Raven with a trash can lid.
Corino and Raven are in the ring with Corino working away on Raven and Low-Ki. Corino with a running big boot on Low-Ki and nails Raven with a super kick. Corino with several face washes in the corner. Low-Ki with a cartwheel kick to stop Corino. Sandman is crawling to the ring with a kendo stick. Low-Ki and Raven double team Corino with several blows.
Raven with a snap suplex and has a chair. Corino attempts a drop toe hold, but Raven blocks and throws a chair at Corino. Corino has been busted wide open and is worked on by Low-Ki. Raven enters and delivers several shots to the forehead. Corino with a DDT/Stunner combo on Raven and Low-Ki.
Sandman now has a trash can on the apron. Corino tags in Sandman, who hits both Low-Ki and Raven with the trash can several times. Sandman, with a drop-toe, hold sending Raven into the trash can. Sandman wedges the trash can in the corner and sends Low-Ki into the trash can goes for a pinfall gets a two count.
Raven nails Sandman with a trash can. Corino clotheslines Raven over the top to the floor. Low-Ki gets a two-count on Sandman. Raven trips Sandman down, and Corino brawls with Raven for a few moments. Sandman with a kendo stick assisted side Russian leg sweep. Sandman is met with the Evenflow DDT from Raven and goes for a pinfall gets the 1-2-3!
Winners: Low-Ki and Raven.

NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match
AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett (c)
Jarrett shoves AJ Styles into the corner and taunts him to start the match. They trade go-behinds until Jarrett grounds Styles, but Styles locks in a front face lock. Both men continue to take each other, and Jarrett nails Styles with a clothesline. Styles with a kick to the gut and several right hands.
Styles follows up with a spin kick and gets a near fall. Styles with a dropkick to a seated Jarrett goes for a pinfall and gets a two count. Jarrett avoids a discus clothesline with a right hand. Jarrett with several stomps in the corner. Jarrett with a dropkick and clotheslines Styles over the top to the floor.
Jeff Jarrett, with a slingshot cross body taking Styles out on the floor. Jarrett sends Styles into the guard railing back first. Styles sends Jarrett chest first into the guardrail. Styles slams Jarrett down and connects with a standing Swanton bomb getting a two-count. Styles with a clothesline and plays to the crowd.
Styles with right hands but is met with a boot from Jarrett but Styles comes back with right hands. Jarrett blocks a Hurricanrana by planting Styles with a sit-down power bomb and both men are down. Jarrett with several right hands and lifts Styles up and drives Styles across his knee. Jarrett runs into a boot as Larry Zbyszko comes down to ringside.
Jarrett blocks a tornado DDT. Jarrett attempts a superplex but Zbyszko holds Jarrett’s foot. Styles with a sunset flip off the top getting a two count. Jarrett attempts a suplex from the apron back in the ring, but Larry again holds his foot and Styles gets a two count. Styles with a leaping kick to the face of Jarrett.
Larry hits Jarrett with brass knuckles from behind as Styles distracted the referee. Styles covers but only gets a two count. JJ Dillon comes out and ejects Zbyszko from ringside. Jarrett is knocked out and Styles goes for the figure four but is rolled up by Jarrett gets a two-count. Styles with a springboard and locks in a sleeper hold in the middle of the ring.
Jarrett is fading in the ring as the fans chant for Jarrett. Jarrett gets his arm up before the third drop and fights out of the hold. Styles accidentally knocks the referee out with a flying forearm smash. Jarrett with the Stroke but there isn’t a referee. Referee Andrew Thomas runs down to the ring counts the pinfall Styles kicks out at two!
Styles with a leg sweep take down and locks in an Indian death lock but Jarrett battles out of the move with elbows. Jarrett catapults Styles into the second referee. The Harris Brothers come down and attack Jarrett connecting with the H-Bomb. Vader and Dusty Rhodes come down and brawl with the Harris Brothers on the floor and around ringside.
Styles rolls into the ring and covers Jarrett, but Jarrett manages to kick out. Jarrett blocks the Styles Clash once, but Styles rolls through and hit’s the second attempt. Styles covers but Jarrett kicks out. Styles goes up top and leaps off but is met with a clothesline in midair. Sonny Siaki enters and hits Jarrett with the Siakilypse.
Desire is distracting referee Andrew Thomas. Styles attacks Siaki and hits the Styles Clash! Styles stands on the middle rope, and this allows Jarrett to deliver a right hand and hits the Stroke off the middle rope. Jarrett goes for a pinfall gets the 1-2-3!

After the match, Jarrett celebrates his win in the ring. Vince Russo is shown in a car and says that this thing with Jarrett has gone too far. Russo has a broken heart over the whole situation.
Russo says there is one thing to do and that is to gather the family and talk things out. Russo says that he is sitting in the driveway of Jarrett’s house. Russo is going to wait for Jarrett to come home as he talks to his wife and kids.
NWA-TNA PPV 33 goes off the air.
