Ladies and gentlemen, we are on the road to ROH Best In The World 2021. The May 29, 2021 episode will see the collision between The Foundation and VLNCE UNLTD. This comes hot on the heels of The Foundation’s ROH World Tag Team Championship defense against OGK last week. How will Ring of Honor Wrestling follow up this fantastic episode? Let’s find out in our weekly ROH Wrestling Preview for 5/29/21!

    LSG vs. Joe Keys

Following Fred Yehi and Rocky Romero’s entertaining Pure Rules match last week, we now get a match between two up-and-coming superstars. In one corner, we have 10-year wrestling veteran LSG. Over his decade-long career, LSG has worked for such promotions as Beyond Wrestling, CZW, NJPW, WXW, and even Inter Species Wrestling. The Master of the Star Jammer is scheduled to compete against ROH rookie Joe Keys.

After debuting in the 2019 ROH Top Prospect Tournament, Joe Keys has been slowly building steam in the tag team and singles divisions. The only thing on the line in this match is pride. Joey Keys has only picked up one victory in ROH throughout 2021. LSG has picked up two wins in the company. Who is going to come out on top in this contest? We’ll find out this Saturday.

    How Will Rush Respond?

Last week on ROH Wrestling, “The Mercenary” Flip Gordon laid down the challenge to ROH World Champion Rush. Gordon said he was tired of watching Rush parade around as ROH World Champion, and he challenged him to a match that very night. Instead of Rush, EC3 would make his way down to ringside. EC3 would utter four ominous words: “You have been warned.” How will Flip Gordon react to this, and where does that leave his challenge to Rush for the ROH World Championship? We may find out on this week’s edition of ROH Wrestling.

    The Foundation
(Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham, Rhett Titus, & Tracy Williams) vs. VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King, Chris Dickinson, Homicide, & Tony Deppen)

Following a stellar tag team championship match last week, The Foundation will now square off against the dastardly VLNCE UNLTD. Finally, we will be witnessing these two stables come to blows ahead of the upcoming PPV.

Beyond tag team competition, this is a match-up of champions. Earlier this month, Tony Deppen defeated Tracy Williams to become the new ROH World Television Champion. His partners in The Foundation are ROH Pure Champion, Jonathan Gresham, and the ROH World Tag Team Champions, Rhett Titus and Tracy Williams. With so many champions involved, it will be interesting to see if this match will have any impact on championship rankings within the promotion.

Surely, Rhett Titus and Tracy Williams are still feeling the effects of their stellar match against Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. By contrast, Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham haven’t competed on ROH Wrestling since ROH 500 back in April. As for VLNCE UNLTD, none of these competitors have wrestled within the past few weeks, meaning VLNCE UNLTD completely fresh. How will the outcome of this match impact the ROH Best in the World 2021 card? We will have to tune in this Saturday to find out.

    What to Expect for 5/29/21

    • LSG vs. Joe Keys
    • Will Rush respond to Flip Gordon’s challenge?
    • Will EC3’s prophecy come true?
    • Who will walk out of VLNCE UNLTD vs. The Foundation unscathed?
