Hours after being mentioned by Executive Vice-President of AEW Cody Rhodes, ‘Dashin’ Chris Bey is in the news. Chris Bey has officially signed with IMPACT Wrestling. His signing shows just how much he has caught the eye of major promotions throughout the world. Bey is the inaugural Without A Cause Champion, Zealot Champion, and Maverick Revolution Champion.
At twenty-four years of age, the Virginia native and Ultimate Finesser has only been actively competing for four years. This isn’t Bey’s first time competing with IMPACT Wrestling. In 2017, Bey faced friends Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel in a tag team match. Bey teamed with Matt Sydal at the time as part of a TV taping. He has competed for IMPACT Wrestling more than once. Last year, Bey competed for IMPACT Wrestling on several occasions.
Despite losing on each occasion it isn’t a reflection on Bey in the slightest. His progression throughout the years has been meteoric.

He has competed all over the United States. However, the more he is being seen throughout the Pacific Northwest it was only a matter of time before a major promotion scooped him up. The timing of his signing comes only hours after AEW’s Cody Rhodes expressed his interest in Bey.
Bey shared his thoughts on Facebook with one simple post. The Ultimate Finesser simply said ‘all I really need is one shot’. He will certainly get that one shot. Bey’s addition to the IMPACT Wrestling roster only furthers their commitment to the growth in their talent pool. The addition of Bey leads to some interesting matchups in the future against the likes of Ace Austin, Desmond Xavier, and Trey Miguel. Congratulations to Chris Bey as the newest addition to the IMPACT Wrestling roster.
